Hotel location was not near to any malls or convenience stores, it was a quiet place. Room was spacious with huge super king bed, slight musty smell.

During my recent stay at Chateau Star River Hotel, I found the facilities to be excellent and the interior decor tastefully designed, creating a luxurious and elegant atmosphere. The rooms were spacious and well-furnished, contributing to an overall pleasant physical environment. However, the service quality did not match the standard expected from such a well-appointed hotel. Upon arrival, the front desk staff mistakenly assigned me a children’s room, which required me to return to reception and resolve the issue—a rather inconvenient start to my stay. While the room I was eventually given was comfortable and spacious, cleanliness left much to be desired. The bathtub, in particular, had two dead flies and a hardened stain on its surface, which was quite disappointing. I did encounter staff members who demonstrated professionalism—for example, the gentleman managing the breakfast check-in was courteous and efficient. Nonetheless, such instances were the exception rather than the rule. On one occasion, I decided to book a massage at the hotel spa to relieve some back pain. The treatment, which cost approximately $50, was average and initially unproblematic. Unfortunately, at the end of the session, the masseuse offered me an additional service, the nature of which I will refrain from describing here, but I trust it is not difficult to imagine. I declined immediately. Regardless of the hotel's level of control over this matter, given that the spa operates within the premises, I found this situation deeply inappropriate and upsetting.

Very beautiful hotel and nice views from my room.

Beautiful hotel overall.  outdoor pool not available. Indoor pool & gym don't open until 9am which is very inconvenient for some.  Young children are allowed in the gym.  They made a lot of noise which is not appropriate. The room temperature is high.  during day time the room is hot and at night it's still too warm to sleep comfortably.

Beautiful hotel with very good services. The location was a bit far but transportation was very easy with taxis.

Overall my stay in this hotel was fine but there were people smoking inside their rooms which is very annoying for non-smokers.

Overall, satisfied with the stay. It is just that they provide the same menu for breakfast everyday.

Massive, but quite old hotel with lots of decorations. Too much for me, but maybe it's just not my taste. Large rooms, comfortable beds and big variety of food on breakfast.

The room was very humid and felt like everything was slightly wet. Other than that the service was amazing.

Kids enjoyed the amenities and fun using the recreation facilities. Good breakfast options

Always very friendly stay. They stop to offer the dinner during the week, but they great my up to a nice suite. So all fine!

Elegant hotel with excellent service at an amazing price.  Pool and fitness facilities are top notch.
