Fantastic location! Just a short walk from the escalator, through the shopping mall and close to the old town of Siena. Lovely bright, clean room, (we upgraded to a balcony 10euros) Nice toiletries and a great breakfast ! Receptionists we’re very polite and extremely helpful with directions and suggestions of traditional places to eat.

Due to my stupid mistake, we booked the wrong week to the hotel next door...that's when Mr. Anthonio at the front desk came through like a knight in shining armor. THANK YOU FOR SAVING OUR TRIP!!! The breakfast was decent, and better than we expected, more than ample choices. The room was tidy and clean, close to all the main attractions (all about 10 minutes walking distance). Mostly importantly, this hotel has a lift, a must if you have large luggages. THANK YOU!

The location is very good, there is a delicious Italian restaurant next to it. The room was very comfortable and the service was very good. The breakfast was a bit poor, there was no meat and eggs, and there were very few types ～

What a lovely property in a unique setting! Our check in was smooth but after a long day of travel and storm Ciaran delays we would have appreciated being able to get into our room to relax for a moment before being made to recite each item we might want for breakfast the following day! That being said, breakfast was truly excellent. We enjoyed the lovely cakes and cappuccino immensely. Our room was not nearly as spacious as those in Florence and Rome, but it was rustic and comfortable just the same. We were anxious to have a cold drink after a long travel day but unfortunately the fridge did not work. Staff responded quickly but instead of a quick swap, they chose to turn it upside down for several hours. It was only a minor inconvenience but certainly would have been better checked before guests arrive! We definitely appreciated the comfortable bed and quality linens. And for hot water and pressure, the shower is one of the best we have experienced anywhere in the world! The most incredible disappointment for us was reading all of the marketing hype about ”family” and ”service” and ”attention to detail” and yet not a single person introduced themselves. Not ever over a six day stay. Furthermore, we had advance correspondence about choosing Borgo Grondaie for our 40th anniversary. Not a single mention of our anniversary even though they were aware. (Well wishes or a glass of Prosecco would certainly be the norm in Canada.) This may be something not done in Italy but it would have been easy and free for the hotel staff to do. The most unacceptable was the fact that never were we called by our names! Not even once. Not ever. Not one time! Doing what all the marketing says they do would have gone a long way to make this a memorable stay. Instead what we will remember is a ”promise” that was not fulfilled.

Lovely lovely people. Before and during our arrival - so helpful. We had a few issues getting to the hotel and eventually arrived at 02.30 the next day. Received nothing but cooperation and help. Arrived and given keys to our 4 rooms to get to sleep. Paperwork after breakfast. Good breakfast and again, coffee beautifully served. What a delight. Good rooms. We had a superior room. What a terrace! Fantastic.

I stayed at this facility during a tour that I had organized in Tuscany, the facility is located in a quite comfortable area to access the city and there are many parkings on the road, so, Although the building is not equipped with private parking, we have never had any problems to park nearby inside there is a room that is dedicated to breakfast, very wide and lightened the room is large, The bathroom is spacious, the shower was very large and comfortable, there were both duches and towels . everything was very clean I have to say that everything was very clean and staff very amable I don't know how breakfast is because we went to make it at the Corsini bakery (cake star winner 2022) that is 10 minutes from the B & B despite all rooms were busy we had noise problems there are two negative points for me One is that there is no small frigobar (vakuum) in the room, having a refrigerator for medicines I take I had to use my refrigerator that I keep in the car another negative point that there is no chance of being able to take a coffee or a bottle of water during day/night ... would be great a distributor is certainly a very good structure for anyone who wants to stay in Siena, outside the very chaotic tourist center, but reachable in 10 minutes walk below the Ovile door and the mobile scale of the San Francesco parking

Excellent location and a great little flat, but the lack of communication destroyed it for us. We knew we’d be late, and rang a day ahead to inform and make sure they knew. Unfortunately the young man who answered the phone had no interest, nrither in his guests or job. We arrived late and tried to ring again from the road, and send an e-mail, but no respons. We stood outside the locked door and rang the emergency cell phone number that we could see on a sign in the reception. Straight to voice mail. We could see the little basket with an envelope with our name on on the reception desk, behind the locked door!! Luckily the lovely family restaurant next door was still open and the friendly owner knew the code for the front door and let us in!! Slept in a nice bed that night, not in our car. Next morning we told the lady at the reception and she said she was sorry. Oh well, so are we. Customer service at its worse.

This hotel is perfect! The location is as central you could hope to be, exactly between Il Campo and the Duomo. The rooms have been cleverly built within a very old building, small but perfectly formed, and decorated with lovely trompe l’oeil designs. The shower is the best I’ve encountered in my 56 years on this planet, and the air conditioning and lighting are perfect. A small fridge is provided among the spanking-new furnishings. The hotel room is absolutely silent, somehow - we were there during the very hectic and busy Palio preparations but the hotel room was always quiet. I travel with a sleep mask as I can’t sleep if the room is light after sunrise, but I didn’t need it here. Massimo and Ada are always around, either in person or reachable by WhatsApp and provide helpful and friendly advice and help with things like restaurant bookings and sightseeing recommendations. I really can’t think of anything more that anyone could want from a hotel, really. Highly recommended, we will definitely go back as 3 nights were not enough in this fantastic city.
