Travelodge Harbourfront Singapore

This is our first time staying at Travelodge hotel and we chose a room that has a seating area next to the window. My wife likes this arrangement. The room is clean and the cabinets are practical with built-in safe and fridge. I could cast my Netflix and Prime video movies to the wall mounted TV which also has YouTube channel, local TV channels and others. The bed and the sheets with four large soft pillows are great to plunge into a good sleep. The toilet area is big as it is built for elderly with ramp entrance, grip bars and area to sit for bathing. The hotel has a bar, swimming pool, area for breakfast and two sound proof rooms for personal use at the reception lobby. The hotel is conveniently located opposite Vivo City shopping mall and next to it is HarbourFront Centre. Behind the hotel is Mount Faber and we had a good 30 mins morning climb and walk up there. This hotel is a good stay for my wife and I to celebrate her birthday, Mother’s Day and our anniversary three in one occasion.

Comfy for single traveler but could be tight for 2 persons. Many rest and work areas inside hotel

Decent room with great access to the shopping mall. Convenient location to various attractions. Recommended.

The room is a bit small, but the staff are very friendly, and the location is excellent.

Return to this hotel for business trip, as the overall was great and well maintained. Great location, 3 mins walk to Harbourfront MRT station. Opposite of Vivo City that easily can get foods and even shopping. No gyms but there is swimming pool. 10 mins waling distance to Anytime Fitness (if so happen you are one of the member). But there is disappointment during my 5 nights stay this round... -Requested for high floor upon booking, but did not being assigned as usual. Could see they did not really prioritize unless you make noise and voice out your request. It depends on which side facing, previously the lower floor i gotten was facing the street behind you could see people jog around and this round was facing to the office building Teluk Blangah House. The distance was quite close as expected in Singapore. -As usual, there is alternate day of housekeeping practice and towel changing is upon request. -The housekeeping basically just clear the trash, not even tidy up the beds and leaving the carpet with hairs on floor. So you gonna come back from work without feeling of refreshment. Anyway the housekeeping supervisor was polite and good to help out. -Refer the second photo- On my day 4, out of sudden the housekeeping did tidy the beds (I am surprised on the inconsistency, they never do this on day 2 and 3), leaving a new carpet but not clearing away the old one with hairs, and the worst is placing my pyjamas/clothes (which originally left on bed), on top of my luggage (my luggage was closed and locked). This is really strange. I have been travelling for biz trip and staying different hotel chain, some housekeepers did help to fold the pyjamas, some hang on the wardrobe and some just leave on the bed itself, but never have one that place it somewhere else, moreover on top of the luggage...or maybe they just forgot to put it back after tidy the beds, just feel not so comfortable to see this when i back from work. Anyway, overall was great for business stay, but I definitely will reconsider again for my next biz trip.
