I recently stayed at Aloft Singapore Novena (West Wing) for 5 nights during a medical trip to Singapore, and I couldn’t have been more impressed.
From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the front desk staff. The check-in process was quick, smooth, and professional—exactly what you hope for after a long journey. Every staff member I encountered throughout my stay, from reception to housekeeping, was consistently polite, attentive, and eager to assist.
The hotel itself is beautifully maintained. My room was spotlessly clean, modern, and well-designed, with all the essentials thoughtfully provided. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the space was quiet—perfect for rest and recovery. I appreciated the practical layout, the strong Wi-Fi, and the large TV with streaming options.
The hotel’s location is another big plus. Situated near Novena, it offers easy access to nearby hospitals and medical centers, which made my trip much more convenient. There are also many food options, malls, and transport links within walking distance, making it a great base for both business and leisure.
Special shoutout to the staff for their genuine hospitality and professionalism. They made a difficult trip feel much more comfortable.
If you’re looking for a clean, quiet, and convenient place to stay in Singapore—with exceptional service—I wholeheartedly recommend Aloft Singapore Novena.
Great short staycation while our house was being painted. Rooms were clean and windows offered some greenery view. Front desk service was helpful n patient. The room doors r not too thick so movements outside the corridor can be heard. Breakfast was not bad. Near Whampoa area for quite a good range of food if walk 300-500m
It was a nice 4 nights stay. The location was good, the staffs were really accommodating and helpful. All the request were thoroughly handled well. I just hope that after staying for 4 nights there might be a discount? Or lesser price to extend another day. Paying for the price you must give a little bit more service like asking if we need to change towels, asking for coffee refills, maybe extra sugar or milk to use for the coffee and tea? Some basic condiments if you would like to cook. Or maybe some entertainment like netflix would be great. Also it would be great if there is a directory for the phone.

When it isn’t raining, the Ibis Singapore Novena is around 800 m, which is a 15 minute walk, from the Novena MRT on the red line. However, when it does rain it is not completely covered and can be a nuisance. Also, the rooms are small.
We booked this at the very last minute due to Agoda booking unable to check in. Thus we are in a very tired and mental stress condition. We did not expect this hotel to be anything.
Unfortunately, the front desk service and location is out of our expectations. It's very convenient with public transportation and food as well.
The process of checkin is fast and efficient, yet the front desk is very polite and friendly. This is really good. Even the room is small but sufficient and good enough for us to have a good place to rest and sleep.
The bed is very comfortable and we have a very good rest after torture by Agoda and Dash Living hotel for the booking issue. Finally this hotel give us a nice place to rest.
I will definitely come back to this hotel in any point of time I need. It's a simple and nice hotel.
Thank you to trip.com and hotel staff. In future also I only use trip.com because it's easy and fast.
Habyt Hotel is located on Balestier Road, which is very convenient to anywhere in Singapore via taxi / bus / railway.
Overall, the facility is at good quality and staff is friendly. It's more like a service apartment to have some basic utensils to make your stay easier.
Friendly welcome. Clean room. Comfy bed. Impressed with what they had programmed on their tv esp the live actual footages of the cctv and details about the hotel.
Several malls, convenient stores, hardware stores, NTUC supermarket, wet market, lots of eateries more importantly a halal 23hours restaurant nearby. There other hotel options all within a stones throw aware.
Plenty of buses to take you just about anywhere.
This room is just perfect for friends. Just had a problem with the AC since its not that cold and the shower pressure is a bit slow. If you’re just looking for a place to sleep this is perfect since it is affordable and has bus stop in front of
Check- in by Jeremy was swift. Always very friendly and greeted me and guests with a warm smile. Room size is typical hotel size. Happy that it comes with kettle, bottled water and basic toiletries. Occasional company of ants on table and ”light-attracted insects” on bed was a minor nuisance I could live with. Ventilation is not ideal in toilet as floor did not dry up fast enough, in Singapore's humid condition despite aircon being turned on. Location is good and convenient with a bus stop right in front of hotel and Balestier Market next door (24 hrs food access). Needed to extend my stay due to home renovation and only managed to extend 3 more nights. Online rate cheaper than booking via counter. Overall a pleasant, safe and decent hotel to stay in.

MMeiSing TravelerI stayed at Value Hotel Balestier during a short trip to Singapore. It’s a budget-friendly option and delivers on the basics, especially if you’re planning to spend most of your time out and about.
The location is quite strategic—close to food stalls, local shops, and just a short walk or bus ride to the nearest MRT station. Very convenient for getting around the city without spending too much.
Nnamfonz69There wasn't any fridge, i had to change room because the aircon was super noisy and loud. And then the bed made me feel itchy , I got a few insect bites idk from whr but it was after lying down on the bed but overall ok la for the price
AAidi CCourteous and accomodative of all staff . Rooms may be slightly small but very clean with basics that satisfy my stay. Location is a plus with good acessibility to foodstalls around, bus stop to further interest attractions, malls, hawker foid, and shopping ..all within close to proximity fistances of 7 to 12 minutes. Its my favorite stay experience here when im in Singapore visit. Would be back the next.
IIsfp-Solo TravelerFor the price, don’t expect too much. In Singapore, it’s one of the cheapest options you can find that includes a private bathroom (though I booked it on the same day). The hot shower was working, which is very important to me. The room seemed like it hadn’t been used for a long time; it was clean and neat at first glance, but upon closer inspection, the remotes, TV, kettle, etc., appeared to have not been wiped, as there was visible dust. Also, if you’re sensitive to noise, bring noise-cancelling headphones because the room is not soundproof—you can hear footsteps, conversations, and even a baby’s cry. You can also leave your luggage or bags at the hotel after checking out if you still have errands to run. Overall, if you’re not a neat freak, it’s a good option in a convenient location (++ TV, kettle, mineral water with 1 sachet of coffee and instant milk tea, toothbrush and toothpaste, hair dryer)
