Was a very comfortable stay with a nice view of the river. Did not like the attitude of the male at reception desk. I had booked and paid for a room for 5 nights with view of river in advance but on arrival the man at reception was wanting to place me in a room with no windows for ONE night and then change to another room in the morning as he did not have a room available for me. I did not accept that, given my booking and payment in advance but then somehow he managed to find a room with river view for the 5 nights. The bathroom is VERY small but room was comfortable overall. Convenience store 3 minutes walk away.
I checked in on a sunny afternoon, and while the room was comfortable, the air conditioning took some time to cool the space down. The executive club room was a delight, featuring a spacious bathroom with a rain shower and bathtub—perfect for unwinding.
The club lounge impressed me with its variety of dinner options, and the lychee pistachio cream cake was an absolute standout—truly delicious! The next morning, the breakfast area was bustling, but I enjoyed the warm soya milk, which was a nice touch. However, I wasn’t a fan of the plastic cups provided for coffee, so I headed back to the lounge for a better cup.
Overall, a pleasant stay with a few standout highlights!
Booked a staycation with partner at this hotel. There are 2 wings to it. A newer wing which I believe is called Orchid and an older wing. The newer wing is not bad. External appearance of the building looks old but internal is not bad at all. Was attended promptly by a friendly hotel check-in staff.
Room has an unpleasant smell to it and I would encourage hotel management to seriously look at solving this problem. It's an odd smell that lingers in the room and I have seen other reviews where this is mentioned as well. There are windows in the room and you can't open them to air the room.
Amenities in the room are pretty basic. No robe but there is 2 towel provided, basic toiletries, mini fridge, kettle and hair dryer. Coffee and tea is provided as well as 2 mini water bottles.
The TV in the room is horrible. As can be seen in the pictures, there is structural beam which blocks ones views when watching TV. Besides that, the TV reception is really bad. The quality is poor and there is snow flake images when one is watching the TV and lack of TV watching channels.
The room size is decent. Aircon was cold at first and when we reduced it down alittle,it got too warm and when we decreased the Aircon temp to cool the room again, the Aircon didn't decrease in temperature. It remained still pretty warm in the room at night.
Bathroom in the room is decent size. Shower water pressure is good.
The room has pretty thin walls and one can easily hear outside conversations and if someone is next door.
Hotel is located pretty near town. We went to Orchard Road via bus which was just a few stops away and very convenient to get to.
The hotel gives off old school Singapore vibes. Walking distance to eateries, Tiong Bahru market and there is a bus stop directly opposite the hotel that you can take bus to Orchard Road easily.
Seriously would ask management to sort out the stale, bad smell in the room. Could be coming from the air vents in the room, the carpets and it's made worse by not being able to open the room windows.
I would also suggest an upgrade with better TV size and quality as well as better TV reception.
I feel there is better option hotels to choose for the price paid and unsure if I would return to this hotel again unless the highlighted problems are solved though I do personally like the hotel and feel the room size is decent too.
Would say it's a budget hotel and ok for a one or two nights stay. But the room smell and TV is a major downfall and should be rectified by management urgently.
Thank You for having us at your hotel.

This is the second time we stayed in Hotel Miramar in less than a month. We are here to pack our luggage’s for the actual trip. Love the space, the comfort & service. Will definitely come again. Highly recommended…..
Was just alright. Room was clean and reasonably sized for Singapore. In no way would I consider this a 5-star hotel though. There was no sound-proofing and i couldn't sleep well the entire night despite the comfortable bed. You can hear doors slamming from other hotel guests, pipe and water noises when upstairs were using the bathroom, people talking etc. Check-in was a swift and efficient affair. Frontdesk staff were not particularly warm nor attentive and preferred to sit and stare at their screens instead of greeting or assisting guests. The $20 credit was a nice touch to get some bites at their lobby restaurant. The fries were great. Also, do check out their bar which is located on the other side of the building, friendly bartender and beautiful decor.
On my 2nd day, the place seems a lot better. The bus stop right in front of the hotel is a great comfort specially if coming from a long walk.
The water dispenser helps ave a lot of money considering buying a bottled water is really expensive. Having a refillable bottle also helps.
Coffee and tea making facilities in the room.
Great water pressure. A long good shower is needed after a whole day outside the Singapore weather.
Some places to visit are a good walk away.
Hong Lim Park nearby.
Train stations are about 8-10 minutes away.
I am travelling with my elderly parents and we have an enjoyable stay. The bed and pillow is comfy. The fruit basket in front of the elevator is an excellent gesture. The breakfast selection is wide with international and local food and my parents has no trouble at all to choose their regular breakfast at home.
All hotel staff are helpful whenever we need help. Certainly will come here again if we visit Singapore.
The price and location were perfect, though the room was quite small. The staff was very friendly and even gave us free bottled water—though, ironically, it was five times more expensive than in my home country! The hotel is within walking distance to all the well-known sights. The only downside was the noise, which was a bit disruptive at times.
Great location: 10 mins on Grab to main attractions, 5 mins walk from MRT (helped a lot after Lady Gaga concert), 7/11 and cafes nearby. Room is big & clean, all conveniences are in place: air conditioning, water filter, TWG tea, slippers, safety deposit, etc. Breakfast is amazing and full of choice! English, Indian, Chinese, Continental, fruit… Swimming pool is also big, also jacuzzi and 2 water slides both for adults and children separately. Jacuzzi was not working 1 day, but was fixed afterwards. Staff is super friendly and helpful. The only issue is that there is no toilette brush in the room… Had to ask to clean the room one more time, but that was not a big issue. Booking from trip was confirmed, excellent service and price.
The fot the room was good. The location of the hotel is very central. Within walking distance of several sights. However, a bit far from the nearest metro stop. Also be aware that the hotel is located between a few bars and clubs.
The room was large enough. The bed was a little too squashed into the corner. The cleanliness was okay, but there was still some hair in the room. The room smelled a bit damp. The water pressure in the bathroom was very weak.
The staff was very nice and help with the somewhat complicated check in and the virtual room card that you operate with your mobile phone .
It was annoying that the hotel kept writing to you about a review. I found this very unprofessional and annoying.

EEstrella MtxWhat a great stay. This is the best hostel I have ever stayed: super clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, the location is great, central, in a quiet area. The common area and terrace are super nice.
I would only wish there were more breakfast options (yogurt, fruits).
I would totally stay there again.
GGuest UserAdvantages: The location is very good, the surrounding area is very convenient, it is safe for women, and the guests are of high quality... For someone who lives in a youth hostel for the first time, it exceeds expectations; Disadvantages: The noise from the bar upstairs is noisy until 2 a.m., and reservations need to be made based on personal circumstances. It is suitable for people who stay late and get up late.
FFluffybunThe hotel is not new, but come with rather good room condition. It is near to Havelock mrt and many buses to other location in Singapore. Quiet place with good food choices nearby. I have to highlight the Chinese cleaner (young lady) was very friendly. It was really great to get some help from her on my first day of arrival. Such a kind person!
KkittingkittyDon't really recomend if you are light sleeper as need to climb stairs whenever you come back or go out, with the prices $100 up and above, with all that night life noises during the night and morning guest checking out and afternoon the housekeeping chit chating like their home talking super loud noises need to think twice, cause 24 hours you can't really rest properly. Insomia getting worse after my 2 nights. The places only have 1 toliet find it very hard to use if you are urgent if the room is fully book. But actually the place is still good if the price of the room remain from 80SGD to 90SGD cause with 100 SGD better to stay a budget hotel or back pack hostel.
MMaria SavilovaThe main advantage of the hotel is its location - you can easily walk to the main attractions, to the grove of supertrees, to the observation deck of the Marina Bay hotel, cloud forest and so on. In addition, there is a China town nearby where you can eat unexpensively and two metro stations within walking distance
The hotel does offer breakfasts, but they are meant to be a prelude to the main breakfast.
For breakfast they offer omelette, envelopes with fried vegetables, toasts, coffee.
The room was basically clean, but the corners needed vacuuming and the windows overlooked the neighboring house about ten meters away. On the other side we didn't come here to look out the window. I would say it's three stars, but by Singapore standards it's a great combination of price and quality
AAnastasiia Leothe location is great, the facilities are great, the room is clean, water, tea and coffee were replenished every day. hair dryer at the reception. the only thing that was not comfortable was the short length of the bed, the legs were hanging down. and the fact that the vending machine with drinks on the street is deceiving
DDANThe location is good. Clarke Quay Metro Station and Clarke Quay Shopping Center are just a few minutes walk away. There are two 7-11 convenience stores next to the hotel. The buses are also much closer than the subway. The minutes are here. The hotel facilities are fairly clean, the air conditioner has no noise, the bed is comfortable and not soft, there are free mineral water and oranges every day, there are not many samples for breakfast, but it is enough, eat in the morning and start the day. The room has a hair dryer, very nice. The front desk can help to call a taxi, there is a lift for the disabled, very practical. The room is very small, the washstand is next to the bed, the 20-inch suitcase barely opens two, and then it is more difficult to open the door.
AAnonymous UserThis was my second stay, in two weeks time. I choose this time only bz of location which was my priority!!
Check in is at 4pm, and I was there around 1pm, just to keep my bags, but have to wiat for 30 plus min as ring was switched off and there was no one to attend.
Aircon is very limited, late evening to early morning approx. Even living room aircon is controlled. Though wall mounted fans are functional, but during warm days it can be uncomfortable.
Its on 3rd floor with no lift. So with heavy bags it can be a challenge.
Toilets and shower room are clean. Room size for 3 bunk beds was decent size.
Further with only one staff, and if host is busy or out of hostel, you have no option but to stand outside, so be mindful of check in time!! In other hostels where I have stayed, you will always find someone to assist.
