The main plus for us was the location, which is at the end of the Sirmione peninsula and thus has uninterrupted views of Lake Garda. Sirmione is a warren of narrow streets so it was necessary to leave our coach (we were on a group trip) at the carpark and walk for 15 minutes to get to the hotel. Rooms were a reasonable size with the big advantage of a walk in wardrobe so great for stacking clothes, luggage etc . The bathroom was a bit on the small side and the shower over a narrow bath was too cramped. Food on the whole was good both for breakfast (we had the buffet though you could choose from an extensive menu) and the evening where we ate in three times. There was a small pool and hot tub and an extensive private deck with loungers. Staff were really friendly, particularly the guys on the bar and the lounge was quirkily decorated and had lots of comfy sofas and chairs.

Amazing location - centrally located in sirimone and everything in the island is within a kilometre. To reach the place one needs to drive through the castle which is an access controlled place. Rooms spacious and I got one which overlooks the lake. Ample space to relax.

Very comfortable and clean room with a nice view of the lake and sunset. Friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful pools. Stayed as part of a group. We were made to feel very welcome. We were very lucky with the weather so were able to have a very good breakfast on the terrace every morning. Bar prices very reasonable. Only *******, no tissues or body lotion in the room.

A wonderful hotel in an amazing location overlooking Lake Garda. It was scrupulously clean, our bedroom was large with comfortable beds and a balcony that overlooked the garden and the Lake. The food was delicious and plentiful and the staff were friendly, helpful and professional.

Location of this property is fabulous, lovely spa, great pools, BUT, although the property has been recently renovated, there are some things that we found very frustrating - beds not comfy at all and they were two single beds pushed together in a way that made it uncomfortable as a couple. Zero sound insulation so unfortunately we heard everything that the neighbouring room chose to do - their tv echoed into our room and it was impossible to get any peace. Staff largely kind but we did also have an incident where the cleaning staff barged into our room at 9pm without knocking and waiting which was very embarrassing.

Fantastic hotel. The perfect size (small enough to be personal, big enough to cater for every need), the perfect location (just outside the craziness of the old town of Sirmione, on the lake) the perfect team (they truly care and strive to give their best every minute of every day) and the perfect amenities (spa, pool, lovely rooms, bar, restaurant). Our ‘too hard for my husband’s back’ bed was briefly an issue but a mattress topper was on it before you could say ‘ouch’. They can’t do enough to keep you happy and enjoying your holiday. If you’re wondering whether to spend a little bit more in order to stay here, do it. You won’t regret it. Just two teeny things…..a book swap area would have been amazing, and a price list for the mini bar would have been useful. We pushed the boat out to stay here but that doesn’t mean we’re loaded!!

We had this hotel booked as part of a 15 night rail holiday of the Italian lakes and the Swiss Mountains. This hotel is for people staying for longer than 2 nights who want to relax and be pampered in a very scenic lakeside setting rather than sightsee the area. The room was nice but we prefer a room without ants, a bathroom whose sink plug holds water, includes a box of tissues and a view not overlooking the road. Asked about a better room but I was told we had got the cheapest room booked by our travel agent and speak to your wife about paying for a nicer room. The breakfast room overlooks the lake. 1st day thought the staff wonderful the 2nd day didn’t appreciate guy seeing if we had arrived a minute early or disturbing a server reading his book rather than meeting our needs. Barman gave us ice but his body language told me he really wanted to serve expensive drinks or just talk to his mates on reception. Overall a nice hotel but not for us

Our forth stay at this outstanding hotel has just come to an end! Everything about our stay was perfect. The cleanliness, service, setting and general management of the hotel was absolutely non comparable! We stayed half board for 12 nights and were completely spoilt!! Vincenzo and his team of waiters/waitresses were exceptional and professional. Service was efficient and friendly. Breakfast was lovely, relaxed and enjoyable. Lunch had a different special each day which was a nice surprise as well as a full menu, and dinner - a four course feast of Italian specialities. Delicious! As well as the above, the bar staff and housekeeping ladies were equally as efficient, friendly and efficient. They all went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We cannot wait to return next year!
