Everything was new and clean. Our King room in the main building was spacious and large. We found everything in the room fresh and new, It is convenient to most points out East and we will definitely return.Family run and it shows how much they care.

Staff very friendly. On a bicycle trip. Gave us early check in just as thunderstorm hit. Pool was nice.

The hotel was fine. It's a budget option, simple but clean and comfortable. It's not cheap for this type of hotel but considering we are at the Hamptons it's quite good cost / benefit. I have to say though, that the pictures looked better than reality. The bedroom and specially the bathroom was much smaller than I thought. Maybe it's because they have different options of bedroom and I paid for the simpler one. It's right beside the road, so i got worried about the noise, but it was really quiet inside the room specially during the night. We havent used the pool, but it looked nice. It's also in a good location, very close to East Hampton.

Patty the front desk clerk was friendly and gave us recommendations for the restaurants in the area. We went to the Fareway Cafe for a quick lunch but the wait staff must have fallen asleep because after waiting for some time we left and informed the owner of our disappointment

Rooms are very small and bed super uncomfortable. Shower super small.
If you’re used to modern hotel rooms - this will not be the one for you.

Overall good stay at the Wainscott Inn. Very scenic area with plenty of options for rooms. Amenities and staff hours on site are limited, so I'd recommend bringing any food, snacks, water, etc. Also affordable considering the area and other hotel prices.
Patty the owner is an extremely pleasant and helpful woman. She was available to assist us with any questions or concerns we had and was always very endearing.
Only complaint is that many of the other guests in the Main House were leaving the side door unlocked at all hours of the day and night, which was unsettling to say the least.

Very welcoming check-in… a true personal touch … Patty, the GM, is extremely pleasant and does a great job representing this property … I will definitely be returning the next time I need to be in in Southampton
