"The hotel is newly renovated recently, the facilities are relatively new, and the rooms are relatively large.
It is a bit far from the city center and it takes more than half an hour to take the bus. The nearest bus stop is also six or seven hundred meters from the hotel, and it can come by road, there is no walking path, it is very dangerous and very inconvenient. If you are not driving or taking a taxi, don't live here."

"Very good and considerate staff. Always available. Awesome design and very good lighting and landscaping, albeit a questionable caliber of guests (some hotel guests were staring at me in a way that makes me feel unease and somewhat uncomfortable), but i understand totally it has nothing to do with the hotel itself.
Would recommend for people who want a relaxed and laid-back stay in Florence. This is your at-call mini villa here in Florence, very cute backyard and very nice design, and the room was unbelievably comfortable, the shower included. And they had a nice and quiet reading room in the common area, despite the fact that i would recommend the hotel install some anti-UV shades at the place, in general the atmosphere was impeccable. This is the place i want to stay in for 3 months to do some research in."

"Bad experiences with this Hilton hotel. It should not be called Hilton.
1) My reservation could not be found in the system. So I had to wait for almost an hour before getting the room which is almost 10pm.
2) I was told that I had to contact trip.com in the morning regarding my booking. Hoerver, trip.com customer service agent was very attentive and fix this issue for me in the next morning immediately.
3) The phone in my room was out of order. I told the front desk to have it fixed while I was out but when I am back it was still out of order. So, I had to walk down to the front desk everytime I want to get some service."

GGuest UserVery satisfactory hotel, the room is large, the double bed is very comfortable, two children each have a bed. The jacuzzi and shower are large. The minibar is free of charge for pure water, sparkling water, sparkling wine, red wine, biscuits and chocolate. The location is right next to the Duomo, and all the attractions are within walking distance. The service is warm, the English is very good, and the breakfast is very rich. Recommended.

GGuest UserThe La Gemma is a wonderful place to stay in Florence. Staff was very helpful & gave us a nice upgrade when we checked in for our second stay there. They also put a bottle of chilled champagne in our room to celebrate my birthday. Also enjoyed the lovely spa & rooftop outdoor lounge area with amazing views of the city. Will definitely stay there again.

Xxiaochuchu因為前一站威尼斯瑞吉給我們留下極好的印象，以為佛羅倫薩瑞吉也一樣出色，但事與願違。連住三晚，第一晚淋浴到一半，開始流淚流鼻涕，眼睛漸漸難以睜開，打很多次噴嚏，應該是對什麼過敏了。離開浴室，稍微好轉，第二晚又繼續，比第一晚更加厲害，不知是不是我對浴室使用的清潔劑過敏，請客房服務員來對淋浴房進行沖洗，第三晚仍舊如此，都是洗澡到一半，開始涕淚不止，流淚到眼睛不能睜開，還好衹住三晚，離開佛羅倫薩，到了羅馬瑞吉，立刻症狀消失。

1. The guy at the front desk was very professional and friendly. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask his name, but he's in my picture! He made us feel right at home. Although the Park Hyatt Milan we stayed at was also very good a few days ago, the service at this hotel felt even more like home.
2. The room was incredibly new and clean, and the bedding was very comfortable. The complimentary fruit and turndown service were excellent. They even refilled our bottle of water when they saw we finished it!
3. The restaurant in the hotel lobby is absolutely delicious! The chef is the same as at the Michelin-starred restaurant. If you're looking for great taste and value, the lobby is the place to be.
4. If I ever return to Florence, I'll definitely stay a few more nights at this hotel!

In Florence, a city full of Renaissance atmosphere, Castle View and Spa Hotel No. 16 added a lot of romance and comfort to our couple's trip, and the overall experience was quite satisfactory.
The appearance of the hotel is full of historical charm, like an ancient castle, making people feel like they have traveled back to the Middle Ages. Entering the hotel, the interior decoration style also continues this classical and luxurious atmosphere, and every detail reveals exquisiteness and care. The room is spacious and comfortable, and the bedding is soft, providing us with a good rest environment. The most memorable thing is the view of the hotel. Looking out of the window of the room, you can see the beautiful castle view, as if you are in a fairy tale, which makes people feel relaxed and happy. When I woke up in the morning, the sun shone on the walls of the castle. The quiet and beautiful picture is still unforgettable to me.
The hotel's spa is a highlight of this stay. After a busy tour, we came to the spa to relax. The spa facilities are complete, the environment is elegant, the water temperature is moderate, and the massage therapist's technique is also very professional, which allows us to completely relax and relieve the fatigue of the day. During the spa treatment, we can also enjoy the beautiful scenery in the hotel. This kind of physical and mental enjoyment makes us more satisfied with this trip.
The hotel's service is also commendable. The staff are warm and friendly, always smiling, and provide us with thoughtful service. Whether it is a warm welcome at check-in or various needs in the hotel, they can respond and help in time. Once, we wanted to know about the local specialty restaurants. The front desk staff not only introduced several restaurants with good reputations to us in detail, but also booked seats for us, making us feel the warmth of home.
In general, Castello 16 Florence View and Spa Hotel is a very pleasant stay. It not only satisfies our pursuit of romance and comfort, but also leaves us with good memories. If we have the opportunity to come to Florence again, we will definitely choose to stay in this hotel again and continue to enjoy its beauty and uniqueness.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is incredibly close to the Santa Maria Novella train station, which is very convenient. It's also within walking distance of the city center and other attractions.
The hotel's decor is elegant and charming, with a classic, antique feel. The front desk staff and restaurant staff were all warm and friendly. There's an elevator, but each one is quite small, only fitting two people at a time. However, the stairs are easily accessible too. The carpeted floors mean that footsteps don't disturb others.
Upon check-in during Christmas, we received local specialty Christmas cookies (Prato almond biscuits) and a greeting card, which was a lovely touch.
On New Year's Eve, there was a harp performance in the lobby, creating a wonderful atmosphere.
The hotel breakfast was abundant and delicious!
The room was very spacious; there was plenty of room even after placing our luggage. The hotel mentioned it had been renovated in 2025, and I really liked the floral wallpaper and bedspread. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained, providing a 2-in-1 shower gel/shampoo and conditioner. The staff noticed we were two women and thoughtfully replaced our towels with two pink ones the next day – very attentive service.
The air conditioning worked excellently, keeping the room very warm. The window overlooked a small inner courtyard, not the street, so it was quite quiet. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.

PPhilip T.This is the best hotel we stayed in Italy, with amazing attention to details, including room facilities where you will be amazed by the set up of the bathtub, the concierge, Cosmo, who can book you any restaurant in the city and grant you VIP treatment in The Mall Firenza, the doorman’s hospitality is also amazing, plus it is in the center of of city where all the hot spots are in walking distance. GGuest UserWe had a very solid stay at Hotel Grifone. A pretty large, comfortable, and clean room, with a balcony even. It was a bit of a hassle to get to our room (2 different elevators/staircases separated by a hallway), but on our first trip to the room, a staff member showed us the way, which was a nice touch. We also really appreciated the free flavored waters and teas/snacks/mimosas provided in the lobby - was a lovely surprise.
The hotel is in a very residential area, so it's pretty quiet at night. Does take around 25 minutes by bus to get there from the old town area, but they came relatively regularly (the signs posted on the stops were hit-or-miss on accuracy - the buses usually ran late).
Signora Helena on the breakfast team was truly the sweetest person we met during our entire 2 week trip around the country of Italy. She always greeted us with a smile and provided excellent service (remembering that we have yogurt every morning and bringing it to us without us asking by the third day of our stay, checked in about what coffee we wanted, and more!). We really loved her, and it made our mornings brighter to see her! The front desk staff were all excellent as well! Super professional and answered questions about Florence and the hotel with ease.
