Florence Hostels

"My first hostel experience, and it was really great! The facilities are excellent; the room isn't huge, but the high ceilings prevent it from feeling cramped. An auntie cleans daily, so the hygiene is top-notch. As it was my first time in a hostel, I was a bit worried about privacy, especially since I got the lower bunk right by the entrance. Anyone coming in could see my bed, and there was no curtain on the side facing the door. I later figured out I could just hang two of my dresses there, haha! Just a tip for anyone who gets this bed in the future. The only minor inconvenience was the lack of a dining area, but you can always grab some simple meals from the supermarket and eat them on the first floor. Overall, it's a fantastic place. The staff were also very helpful and answered all my questions. Recommended!"

"This is undoubtedly one of the best hostels I have stayed in in Italy and I’ll tell you what happened. Basically I was quite late to check in and checked in only at around 6:45 pm in the evening and initially the room I was offered had only upper beds left and all the lower berths had been occupied. Gaia at the reception was so kind  she actually looked up all the rooms available and suggested after almost looking up for 30 minutes as to where she could place me as I did not want to sleep on an apple bed she gave me another room which was room number 13 and I had originally booked for an eight bedroom but I paid a little bit extra to get into this four bedroom and I was very happy because the room was speaking span. There was ample space and bathroom and toilet was separate which meant it could be used by two people at the same time, conveniently, especially in the mornings when people are in a rush and the plug points were very ideally placed! I loved staying here and even paid €10 for a very fancy breakfast! I’d love to come here again."

"I stayed in a lot of hostels around the world but this one is probably one of the best! I booked in a 6 Mixed Bed with Sharing WC. They had everything. I had an amazing stay and it’s near the train and bus stations going to the center. I was surprised when I explore the whole area, the kitchen is organized by using separate paper bags labeled with the food. There’s laundry, lockers, and the room cleaning is always on time. The AC is fixed because of the summer which is understandable. Overall, if stay in Florence I will comeback and book here again! Great job."

"Fantastic location — just a short walk from Firenze SMN train station and all the main attractions like the Duomo and Uffizi Gallery. The staff were super friendly and always smiling, giving great local recommendations. The atmosphere was warm and social, with fun evening events and a cozy common area to relax or meet other travelers. The room and bathroom were clean, and the breakfast was simple but nice. The room had a slight damp smell and the air circulation wasn’t great, so it could feel a bit humid at night."

"I have to say this is one of the best hostels I've stayed. The guy at the reception was super nice and friendly. I guess it was typically of outgoing italians, totally surprising for me who stayed in Sweden for quite long. I had a separate bed, not top-bottom style beds typically for hostels. And it was an awesome experience. There were a closet, a desk, an air-con, etc. When I checked out, the lady at the reception kindly asked if I would like to store my luggage there."

"very high quality hostel!!! my roommates were very quiet and respectful. i loved that the public space outside the room was nice, such that everyone did their makeup and talking there provided a towel. comfortable bed and a big drawer available to store things! very good the staff could’ve been clearer about the breakfast not being free though"

"It is a good hostel located on the Tiber River in Rome! It consists of bunk beds and is clean. However, the height changed in the middle."

"Cheap youth travel, convenient transportation. If you need to check out half an hour late, it is possible. Overall cost-effective. Taxes must be paid in cash. There are many restaurants around dessert shops"

"It is a simple hostel with a great location. Close to Florence train station. Most attractions around walkable distance. Acceptably Clean. Friendly and informative staff. Decent free breakfast included . Definitely recommended for solo travelers ."
