Great Hotel. Excellent location and accessible to most attractions. Pleasant check-in and can state that all staff were extremely nice and helpful. Amazing room provided (complementary upgrade). Kitchenette with sitting area, large bedroom with comfortable bed and pillows. Large bathroom with a massive spa bath. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Since the front desk is on the third floor, we couldn't get in at first. We had to call and get help from the staff to enter. The interior design is different from a typical hotel. Although there's a kitchen, it wasn't something I needed. There was no staff present at check-out either; we had to punch in a code ourselves to open the main door and leave.

I stayed in a single room at this hotel. Its location is fantastic, within walking distance of the train station and all major attractions. Although the room was compact, it was clean and tidy. The renovated bathroom was excellent, and breakfast in the courtyard was a delightful experience. The cleanliness was impeccable; despite the single room being only 11㎡ and a bit cramped, the housekeeping meticulously cleaned it daily, and the bedding and towels were changed promptly. The bathroom had been refurbished, offering stable water pressure and a great walk-in shower. The building itself has a wonderful ambiance, retaining the Renaissance palace's wooden beam structure and vintage furnishings. The public areas, with their classical sculptures and leather sofas, truly capture the old Florence charm. The air conditioning was very effective in the summer. The only downside is that, being an old building, the soundproofing isn't great. Overall, it's an ideal base for solo city sightseeing in Florence.

The hotel's location near the train station is very convenient for travelers and close to all the attractions in Florence. The service was excellent; we arrived in the morning, and the front desk upgraded us to a room with two beds, a kitchen, and a large dining table, allowing us to check in immediately. We were also able to have breakfast that same morning, as long as it was before 10 AM. The room might have been given to us because it was located directly above the main entrance, making it a bit noisy, with trams passing by at night (a common issue for street-facing rooms in other hotels as well). However, for us, as good sleepers, it wasn't a big problem.

We had a very good stay, the room was spacious and very comfortable. The only thing is that it’s not specify on trip.com that the room in not directly a part of the hotel but a room in a building at 4 minutes. I stayed with my aunt and my friend for 2 nights recently; we had 3 beds in the same room, 1 single and 1 double. The hotel had basic amenities - private bathroom which was a little small for me and a TV in the room. We didn't notice a kettle in the room but to be honest, we weren't really bothered since we had paid for the hotel breakfast. The breakfast had small selection of hot food: eggs and sausages were really good. The coffee machine wasn't working properly but the staff did everything they could to provide espressos for the guests. Speaking of the staff, they were so kind and amazing, The 1st staff we saw was kind enough to mark the local/popular attractions on the map and give us some guidance on what to do and where to go. They also gave us this incentive where we all got free breakfasts for the 2nd day after signing up to the hotel account (or something like that). The only major con about the stay was that our room was located right next to the elevator and it was noisy all morning and late at night so please if you can, ask for a faraway room!

The hotel's location is pretty good, very close to tourist attractions. The room is quite spacious, definitely enough for one person. The only downside is that it took a while to find the hotel initially, as it's located inside a building and the elevator is quite small.

Nice stay for its price. Though located not in the city center, just in 5 mins walk is a tram station which takes you to the center in 15 mins (1.7 eur). The district is calm and seems safe. No big supermarkets around, so I bought everything needed near Train station in the center. My room was small but quite clean. Air conditioning didn't work the first days, but it was warm in the room. When it was repaired, it became better, ofc. Hot water available, only last night it was warm, not hot. Stable wifi, my room was on 2 floor of another building. Cleaning every day. Staff at the reception was very nice and gave me a cup & hot water upon request! Appreciate your hospitality a lot. Negative side: I could easily hear everything that was going on in the nearest rooms & the corridor, so it disturbed me at night. And marvelous breakfast! Eggs, cheese, ham, fruit, and omg pastry....whish they didn't show me these croissants! I wanted to taste them all...

The most beautiful, quiet peaceful place, breakfast buffet was great, the views are breathtaking, staff goes over and beyond, thank you Andrea, other guest friendly, everyone happy. Loved it want to return for a longer stay. Pool nice also

The staff were really friendly and helpful! I met the lady with beautiful grey hair who takes care of breakfast and cleaning during my stay. The big problem is she doesn’t understand English, I handed my phone for her to speak via Google translate. She didn’t say anything! A second later she started talking in Italian again. This happened a few times in 3 minutes of facing her. She denied talking on Google translate. So I gave up and walked away…she said “respecta”, I assumed it means “respect”. I kept showing her Google translate in Italian that “whatever you wanna say, you say here since I don’t understand Italian”. The guests should be informed/reminded of “quiet hours”. BUT it gets pretty noisy from the guests… when someone opens the doors, everyone hears it. I could hear my neighbours chatting, sneezing, coughing, and all that. My room is facing the backyard, last night some guests living downstairs were enjoying the backyard at 11 pm. it was loud! Shower was another problem, water didn’t seem to go down the drain properly. The bed was two twins joined together without any proper topper. Thus, the twin beds were moving away from one another at night if you sleep in the middle. This part is common sense, either the hotel puts topper or the guest sleep on one side of the bed. The WiFi was reliable. Breakfast was pretty basic. Make sure to bring good-quality earplugs with you…
