AAnonymous UserLocation: An 8-minute walk from the train station, but might take 15 minutes if you're dragging luggage. Room: The 6-bed dorm is very spacious, not cramped at all. During the off-season, it wasn't full, with only 2-3 people per night, so it was very quiet. Service: The staff (young lady) was very nice. They offered a complimentary drink upon check-in and free pasta in the evening. The atmosphere in the evenings was particularly great.

JJangusFirst of all, unbeatable price and location. It’s about a 10-minute walk from the Firenze Santa Maria Novella station. I was greeted by a lovely receptionist who showed me the amenities and to my room. On the next day, there was another receptionist who was equally as helpful. She took the initiative to recommend as many sights, food, and even the oldest pharmacy in the world (circa 1221). I have attached what she highlighted to me. If you’re a no-frills traveler who needs a convenient and comfortable place to stay, this is what you’ll be looking for. One tip when locating the hostel, don’t expect a large sign; instead it has a nondescript door with other tenants on other floors.

AalinatravellingI traveled as a solo female traveler, and unfortunately, only one out of three nights was peaceful. I want to warn others about several management and safety issues I encountered here. On Trip.com, only mixed dorms were available.The platform lists two types of 6-bed dorms: one explicitly labeled 'Mixed Gender' (which I booked) and another generic '6-Bed Dormitory Room' without any gender indication. Since there was no 'Female-only' option, I assumed these were essentially the same thing. I ended up alone in a room with three men, which felt quite unsafe and intimidating. My sleep was constantly interrupted by loud neighbors and the person in the bunk below me shaking the bed all night When I requested a move to a female dorm or a more balanced mixed room the next morning, the staff was unhelpful. They claimed they couldn't move me because I hadn't booked through their website, even though female beds were available!! They initially demanded I pay the full price again for the next two nights. After contacting Trip.com support, the hostel still refused to cooperate. Eventually, a more reasonable receptionist helped resolve the issue peacefully. On my last night, a large group of school students arrived. They were incredibly loud, and it took over an hour after ”quiet hours” began for teachers and staff to finally calm them down. Be aware of this. Cleanliness: Rooms are relatively clean. Self-Service: You must make your own bed, which is very difficult if you are assigned a top bunk. Extra Costs: Towels are not included and cost 1.9€. Payment: They are strictly card-only. Pros: There is free hot water at reception, a luggage room, and the location is conveniently close to the Campo di Marte station. If you are a solo female traveler, be aware that management might prioritize profit over your safety and comfort :)

FFedele OricchioNonostante fosse indicato chiaramente il servizio di reception attivo fino alle 24:00, al nostro arrivo non era presente alcun addetto. Siamo riusciti ad entrare nella struttura solo perché il cancello principale era stato lasciato aperto da un altro ospite. La reception, una volta all’interno, risultava aperta ma completamente abbandonata, senza alcuna assistenza. A causa del forte ritardo del treno non avevamo la possibilità di comunicare preventivamente l’orario di arrivo, ma in ogni caso non abbiamo ricevuto alcuna email dalla struttura con le istruzioni per l’accesso. Solo dopo aver contattato telefonicamente il responsabile tramite l’app Trip ci sono state fornite indicazioni per recuperare autonomamente la chiave da un pannello portachiavi, con l’indicazione del numero della stanza. Comprendo la modalità di self check-in quando è chiaramente organizzata e comunicata, ma in questo caso è apparsa come una soluzione improvvisata per sopperire all’assenza del personale, senza alcuna assistenza reale all’ospite. La camera quadrupla presentava diverse mancanze evidenti: le lampade sui comodini erano prive di lampadine, il frigorifero era completamente vuoto nonostante fosse indicata la presenza di acqua tra i servizi previsti, ed erano disponibili solo i teli doccia essenziali, senza alcuna attenzione al comfort minimo atteso. La gestione dei servizi accessori lascia ulteriormente perplessi: l’unica possibilità per bevande calde è rappresentata da un distributore automatico collocato all’aperto, soluzione che non trasmette particolare attenzione alla qualità complessiva del servizio, soprattutto considerando che lo spazio interno della reception è presente ma inutilizzato. Nel complesso emerge una evidente carenza nella gestione e nell’attenzione verso l’ospite. È un vero peccato, perché la struttura gode di una posizione eccellente e avrebbe un buon potenziale, ma allo stato attuale il livello del servizio offerto non è adeguato alle aspettative né a quanto dichiarato. L’unico aspetto positivo è che il riposo è stato buono, ma questo non compensa le numerose criticità riscontrate.

GGuest UserI booked this on my way to Florence. It's a beautiful and convenient place to stay with all facilities. Elio , Matteo and everyone at the reception has been very kind and helpful. Elio moved me from mix dorm to Girl dorm. Very kind. You can have coffee and cook your own meal. You can store your luggage and roam around after checkout. They help you with recommendations. Overall I had a very warming experience. I wish to come back again. Bathroom and bed was very clean & made up everyday. Absolutely worth the money and more than that the staff was really good. Only they don't have lift but hey you can climb. ✨

밥밥잘먹고잠푹자자I was a bit worried about what it would be like to stay at a hotel run by nuns, but after staying there myself, I found it very comfortable and pleasant. I slept well too. The nun who greeted us at the front desk was from Vietnam and was very kind. However, breakfast was 8 euros and only consisted of a croissant, ham, and coffee, so I ate breakfast outside the hotel instead.

MMaria MDAmazing stay. 10 min drive to a parking in the City Center in Florence. Kids loved it, they were tired of hotels, this is a tiny house, lots of families around, camper vans, playground, shop, pool, laundry. The tiny house is super clean, spotless, probably brand new. Very efficient, well organised. We took a premium one, it is already not large for a family. Spotless linen and towels, all duvets were sealed in a bag, looks dry cleaned, fresh. All tableware, cooking ware and cutlery provided. Air conditioner in both rooms, mosquito nets, proper water pressure and hot water. Very nice attentive staff. We checking late in the evening, which was a plus for us, we saw a checking queue in the morning it looked very long. All the best to this place and the team!

FFionFionIt was a very pleasant stay, although I didn't get to spend much time in the hotel as I was just in Florence for one night, breakfast was nice with variety of choices, staff were friendly and can speak English, room was clean, AC was working perfectly, everything including the duomo was in walkable distance (only like 10 mins walk to the duomo). I had to leave the room key to the reception everytime I leave the hotel which felt a bit strange at first, however apparently this is a norm there as my brothers who were staying at another hotel at the time had to do the same as well. Last but not least, you can have a fantastic view of the city at rooftop of hotel, especially nice to see the sunrise! Will definitely stay here again, highly recommended!

GGuest UserThe location is excellent, it takes a few minutes to get to the big attractions. But the hotel environment is generally the same, the room is large but the bathroom is very small, there is a smell, my friend's room shower is hot water whether it goes left or right. And the breakfast is very general, nothing delicious.

GGuest UserThe room is large, and the ventilation system is good. The host is very helpful and will tell you how to access to the building step by step by phone call. You can also contact her via WhatsApp. Overall it's good with its location, as it's located in the city center with a walkable distance to restaurants and train station. However, if you afraid of hot, the room isn't suitable for you as they don't have AC. But two fans are in the room which is also ok for us as it's windy. It's a shared bathroom apartment, but overall the bathroom is clean because two rooms share one bathroom which is also okay. They will clean the bathroom every morning so overall it's not bad!
