Spa hotels in Da Nang

"The room is nice with a view of the Han River. The staff are friendly. The location is convenient for visiting Hoi An, Ba Na Hills, or My Khe beach, all of which are close by. There's a 24-hour supermarket nearby, which is very handy. It's also close to Vincom and Dragon Bridge, so traffic can be heavy. Since the room faces the road, some traffic noise is unavoidable. They offer laundry and drying services, and scooter rental at a reasonable price. All the staff are lovely. There's a white wardrobe, but you have to look closely to spot it. The blanket was a bit dirty, and the TV wouldn't turn on. The bathtub was also a bit dirty, probably due to age. The fridge was a bit grimy, so I had to clean it before putting my things in. Someone had scrawled 'Fk' on the wardrobe, which was quite off-putting for someone who prefers cleanliness like me. I hope the hotel can address these shortcomings. I would still stay here again next time."

"The staff at Seavitel are all wonderful. I've had to interact with many of them, and all my experiences were pleasant. The location is convenient if you want to stay close to the beach. There are some nice grocery stores and diners within walking distance. However, we had some issues during our stay. The first one was AC not working properly. In July, that was awful to experience. The first night, I couldn't sleep at all because of the heat and humidity in the room. There was also a fan in the room, but it wasn't making matters much better. They did fix the AC, but only after our second night in those conditions. The second issue was with the door constantly beeping. They fixed that as well, but it was just exhausting having to deal with all of that. We're active travelers, meaning we have our days packed with activities, tours, etc. A hotel for us is mostly just a place to shower and sleep. That's why taking our time to talk to the staff and then wait for repairs to be done instead of relaxing and sleeping spoiled some of our trip. I want to point out that the handyman/maintenance guy who works there does his job really well. He was extremely quick and efficient. I think the real problem is the state of the hotel and its amenities. The kettle had open wires, and furniture was making noise. No place to hang your swimsuits, no safe. No ironing possible either. Everything looked kind of old, and it felt like we were staying in a motel rather than in a 4-star hotel. It's nowhere near even 3 european stars. I'd like to mention again that the staff are wonderful. They even offered us free breakfast for the inconveniences we'd had to experience. That was nice of them. The breakfast was tasty, even though all meat parts (and they were small) were with bones, which seems horrendous to me. But everything else was delicious."
