Guests enjoy the hotel's prime location in Napa Valley, exceptional service, and immaculate cleanliness, but find it overpriced with limited experiences. They appreciate the well-appointed rooms, complimentary breakfast, and on-site facilities like a gym and spa.

The trip and stay was excellent, the staff gave the best level of care and hospitality that I have ever had from any resort we’ve been to in the USA, best of all the Hyatt locations so far. The activities calendar made things easy!

What would be the best way to contact Alila hotel?! We have been sending emails and calling for the past three days and no answer. On top of that, they charged our credit card 20days before our arrival date and charged us for more than the actual days we were supposed to stay?! The question now, will the service/hospitality gets any better or it would be best to cancel and find somewhere else?!

Alila Napa blew me away with the level of service and friendliness from booking to checking out. The area is extremely walkable and clean. The property has 3 onsite NACS tesla chargers and the valet made sure I had enough charge each time we left. The concierge was extremely helpful with booking wine tastings and offered way more value than I had expected. Our vineyard facing room was roomy and felt extremely private. I appreciated the thickness of the walls and doors since we were able to chat outside by the fire pit at night without worrying about making too much noise. Overall I highly recommend staying here!

This proper odd right next to Beringer. Amazing location. Spectacular views of vineyards. The bar has really good cocktails. The rooms are luxurious and very comfortable. Of course the welcome with wine adds to Napa experience. I’m super glad to have discovered this place. Only wish they had a little more vegetation options in the restaurant menu.

This is one of the best hotels I've ever visited. From the moment we visited for our three-night-stay at the Alila Napa Valley everything was perfect. The hotel staff was very accommodating and friendly. Unlike many other hotels that I have visited, and a hallmark of 5* star service, the hotel staff were proactive about anticipating your needs in advance and accommodating for them. As we arrived for check-in, our room was already ready, the connecting doors between our rooms were already open, the rooms were set to our desired temperatures in advance, and a welcome amenity awaited us (we're Hyatt Globalists so I don't know if this comes standard otherwise). We had a Vineyard View Suite along with another Vineyard View Room which both had beautiful views of the Beringer Estate. Let them know in advance of your arrival time and watch the magic happen. Ask for Ellen (Guest Services Manager) if you need any recommendations for where to visit in the outlying area - she's not only helpful but has a very kind and caring attitude about it. Zachary (GM at Acacia House) and Thomas (Executive Chef at Acacia House) were also very accommodating as well to some bespoke menu requests at Acacia House where we dined several times (for breakfast and dinner). Chef Thomas Lents is a newish addition to the Acacia House team (having joined, I believe, in only November 2023), but he is a definite standout star. Given his experience working at Michelin star restaurants, and his approach to farm-to-table-esque dining - at Acacia House you get to taste the locally grown ingredients with every bite (without the pretentiousness that comes with restaurants of this quality). It really seems to signify the phrase 'Taste the View'. The Globalist breakfast options at Acacia House were also some of the best breakfast options you can get as a Globalist at any Hyatt property. The spa offers some great massages that our party was able to benefit from after our long journeys. Our rooms had daily turn-down service and they provided in house made cookies (with, I presume, Maldon Salt) during turn down daily. These were lovely alongside the fire pit in the evening. Our only minor criticism is that the check-in lobby is non-descript and hard to find if visiting the property for the first time (we wandered around until we entered the check in lobby). It probably deserves a more noticeable sign or indicator that it is for check in. Having visited many 5* star hotels across different brands, I can still say this is one of the best experiences you can find.

We stayed at this hotel while getting engaged in Napa. It was the perfect romantic hotel for the occasion. We had a room with a view of the Beringer property, which was a beautiful backdrop to sit and drink wine on the patio with a fire going (especially since we had rainy weather our whole visit). The hotel restaurant was very yummy, but very pricey - my one complaint is that I wish their brunch had a few more options without fish. Staff was very helpful, we were especially impressed with the cleaning service, and with the reception for getting us checked in early. Location was perfect to walk down town. I do wish the hotel had a hot tub since our vacation was very cold and rainy.

If you’re a Hyatt member, this is an outstanding location to utilize your points. If not look over the selection of available rooms during your stay. Pricing seems to revolve around location, location. We really enjoyed our room overlooking the vineyards in the back of the property. On the third floor, we had a westerly view toward the mountains and sunset. We had a room with balcony and fire pit. Outstanding. We turned over our Tesla for parking and charging, and didn’t leave the property, except for a nice walk downtown. Try out the neighbor for wine tasting, just across the walking bridge. Our room wasn’t ready, so they sent us to the bar for complementary drinks. Nice wait in the courtyard. Best decision was dinner at the Acacia House, in front of the hotel. Read our review. Thankfully, we listened to recommendation from a couple just finishing lunch/brunch, while sipping our drinks. We did not try spa, pool or yoga. Staff very helpful. Great visit.

This was an exceptional hotel and I’m very impressed with the staff, the location, the amenities, food, and room. We decided to take a staycation with some points we had racking up. I work in a neighboring city hotel and live in the area and I’m honestly a little jaded when it comes to hotels as I know the inner workings and find it hard to be impressed. I wasn’t expecting a whole lot but color me impressed. The attention to detail, nightly turndown treats, cleanliness and friendliness of the staff was just some of things among various that sets this property apart from some of the resorts I’ve worked and stayed at. This is a well oiled machine. We will surely be back and thank you Alila for making this little staycation such a special one for us.

YALL. Do NOT pay 1000k/night for this place. Unfortunately, we did and were not impressed with what we received. I would argue this hotel is not worth more than 500/night. While the view from the rooms are surely beautiful, this is NOT a luxury hotel. Our check in process left much to be desired. Zero information about the campus and amenities and absolutely no direction on how to find out room. We literally wandered out of their little check in room and realized we had no idea where we going. Luckily we were able to track down a random employee who was able to point us in the right direction. We had read reviews about the mini bar being complimentary so we eagerly opened a bottle of wine to celebrate the beginning of our first trip to Napa. We were not pleased to later in our stay find a mini bar menu hidden deep within multiple tabs on the hotel room ipad next to our bed. This hidden menu informed us that the wine we drank was actually going to cost us $180. At every other hotel we have every been to, the mini bar price list is clearly displayed where the mini bar is located. There was a QR code located on the mini bar. When we used this code it opened a menu of prices for room service food. You would think that if Alila wanted to be transparent about the mini bar prices they would include them in the QR link located on the mini bar. The beds are not horrible but not luxury. The pillows and mattress and the quality of what you might find at an embassy suites. My husband and I woke up in the middle of the night drenched in sweat every night despite it being cold in the room because the sheets do not breath. One of the most frustrating part of this "luxury stay" is that at the end of the day when attempting to watch shows to wind down it would take ten minutes to be able to load one of the streaming apps. I dont know if its the wifi or the old TVs but they were SO slow. Also the only apps available were netflix, you tube (not youtube TV--just regular you tube), and a limited version of HBO (you cant even get full version of HBO if you login with your own subscription). Not the technology level you would expect at this stay price point. Upon check-out, we realized that there was an additional charge to our bill of $65/day for a "resort fee". Yall. This is not a resort. When I called to ask what this charge was for they reported it was for the wifi and the complimentary valet service. If I could put an eye roll emoticon here I would. We get wifi included for free in our hotel stays that we pay 200/night for. We did not use the valet once as the hotel is small and you can just park right in front of your room yourself. While the views from this hotel are gorgeous and the location is good for short trips to many wineries, I will not return to this hotel because I cannot stand overpaying for what I am getting. Again- do NOT pay over 500 for this hotel. And even then-- its only worth that because you're in Napa and its a good location. If this hotel w
