Kkifteh97Amazing experience in this ryokan! Felt very warmly welcomed by the owner who would come out to send us off or receive us when we entered or exited. Also received a welcome cake from him!
Rooms were comfortable and the private onsen experience was really luxurious. Easy drive out to see the attractions we wanted to in Hakone.

GGuest UserIt is much more convenient to stay in the mountains when visiting Hakone, because there are so many attractions that one day is really not enough. The B&B is at Sengoroumae Station of the bus, and it is very convenient to go to Togendai Station to take the cable car and the pirate ship. There is a whole family nearby, the owner The attitude of this hotel is very good, and the hot spring experience is great. There are indoor and outdoor hot springs, and you can also book a nearby restaurant. It is very close to the forest of sculptures and the nearby hillside with a large reed.

GGuest UserWe got a room at the same floor as the entrance, which is very convenient as we don’t need to carry our luggages down the staircase. We also enjoyed the onsen. The room is very traditional, is something different from the modern hotel. Yukata was provided also. Recommended to stay there.

JJinhuiIt really feels like living in my own home. The grandparents at the hotel are very kind. Although the communication is a bit difficult, the room has a small living room and bedroom. The space is quite large. Breakfast and dinner are also amazing. The location is also very close to the bus station. In short, the C P value is very high.

GGuest UserA very quiet and beautiful place. A 7-minute walk from the station. The rooms are spacious and clean; I was pleasantly surprised. The hot spring is small, but has everything you need. The food is delicious, and it looks like a work of art, even if it's not quite kaiseki. The food was fine for me, and besides dinner and breakfast, there's a tea and coffee station available at all times. Overall, the atmosphere is very cozy and homey; there are few staff or guests, so it's very quiet and pleasant. Perfect for a couple or a solo trip! I'd love to come again!
P.S. I was given a beautiful little thermos upon check-in, and when I checked out, they kindly gave me a ride all the way to Gora station.

GGuest UserThe location is excellent being 2mins from Gora-Eli station. It is surrounded by private onsens and even some good restaurants. It’s a below average guest house without any lift or elevator. 2 flight of steps to the front desk and men’s and family rooms, 1 flight of steps to the ladies. It warrants a lot of work on cleanliness service and amenities to grow its image. The only saving grace is its excellent location next to Gora station and the ropeway/cablecar bringing you to Lake Ashi, Owakudani and many places of interest..

There are few rooms, a terrace, a set of toilets, and the bathroom is the public soup downstairs. Because the sense of boundaries and expectations of Japanese service are not particularly high, it is basically acceptable. Old-fashioned Japanese house, walking distance of 711, dinner options are not much, eating a Korean barbecue, actually very hot.
