XXiaoxieootwIt takes about 10 minutes to walk after getting off the bus. We booked a double room with a 1.5m bed, but the space is spacious and there is a small balcony. We arrived at the hotel at around 6pm and found that the air conditioner had been turned on in advance, which was very considerate. It was just when the sun was setting and we took a beautiful photo of the sunset. The front desk will give travel advice and preferential prices for hot springs. It is also a bar where you can order various drinks and food. The guy at the front desk gave me a small card. I didn't dare to ask if it was free when I checked out. I can also temporarily store my luggage on the same day after checking out. The attitude is very good.

This stay at Asante Inn in Hakone was full of surprises! The Japanese-style garden is full of Japanese Zen, and it is super beautiful to take pictures. The owner is enthusiastic and fluent in English. The African artworks in the store are unique and come from his African experience. The stories are super interesting.
Staying in dorm, you will meet travelers from all over the world. The atmosphere is good, and the price is 1200 yen per night, which is very cost-effective. Breakfast and dinner are about 1200 yen, and they are delicious and authentic. You can also make an appointment for private time to soak in the hot springs, which is private and comfortable. There is also a luggage transportation service at Yumoto Station, which is super considerate. I sincerely recommend coming here to experience a different Hakone trip!

GGuest UserThis hotel was perfect until check-out. The guy at the front desk was very friendly and helped carry the suitcases. There were board games in the lounge and the hot spring was also very good. The weird thing was that when we checked out, we didn't know that we couldn't rest in the lounge after check-out, so we were kicked out. The staff kicked us out with a nasty face. We said sorry in a nice way, but they didn't even look at us and waved us away... Is this the attitude of a service industry! Or is it the Japanese service industry... too much?

GGuest UserVery satisfied. I booked a hotel with three friends because it was difficult to return to Hakone. I didn't expect it to be so good. There was an English native speaker at the front desk. The room was spacious and clean with a bathroom. There was no problem putting four beds. The hotel also has its own hot spring, and each room can be reserved for half an hour. The boss lady saw that my friend and I were staying in a room and offered to make an appointment for an hour. In short, it was a very happy experience!
But it should be noted that the hotel has no restaurant and is a certain distance from the convenience store. It is best to bring some food with you. The hotel's own store will be closed, and you can only buy some water and instant noodles.
