Our dream vacation in Jeju with MJ Resort! The hotel is located right in front of the beach and offers plenty of comfortable spots to relax and enjoy the beautiful seaside views. Situated in the eastern part of the island, it is a very convenient base for visiting attractions such as Udo Island, Seongsan Ilchulbong, Seopjikoji, and Jeju City. The property perfectly captures the atmosphere of Jeju. From the hotel, you can see wind turbines and even watch the haenyeo women divers at work. Our room was spacious, clean, and had a beautiful ocean view. The breakfast offered a wide variety of both local and European dishes. Every morning, guests could enjoy fresh tangerine juice. The hotel also provides a free laundry room with washing machines and dryers, which is especially convenient for longer trips. I would also like to highlight the excellent quality of service. The hotel staff were incredibly attentive, friendly, and kind. They were always willing to help whenever we needed assistance. We absolutely recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again!

My friend and I stayed here for two nights during our three-day trip to Jeju, after seeing recommendations online that it was run by Chinese owners. The hotel is conveniently located near the city center, making it easy to get around, and it's less than a ten-minute walk to Shilla Duty Free. The hotel is incredibly clean; even the water stains in the bathroom were perfectly removed, and all the nooks and crannies were thoroughly cleaned. You'd never guess it's an older hotel. They provide power strips, so you don't need to bring your own adapter. Toothpaste, toothbrushes, combs, and even skincare products are all supplied. The price is also very reasonable, and the owner is lovely and kind. Luggage storage is very convenient. I would definitely come back again! 🫶

Before arriving at the guesthouse, the host texted to ask about my arrival time to make sure that someone will be at the reception to receive me :) instructions were very clear and the host was very polite. Free breakfast for the guests as well! There is an outdoor area where there is movie screening at night. Pantry and rest area are also very comfortable :) Toilet and dressing room are also kept clean! Maybe my only qualm is that the bunk bed was close to the ceiling so please be careful - tho they had foams to protect your head ! Overall a really good stay there and host recommended a really nice local food place to eat at so im very happy about it ! There are bus stops nearby to get to Dongmun Market or the Airport too.

Women only guesthouse. The sense of safety is worth the price. It’s not difficult to list what it to be loved about the place. Comfortable bedding, luggage storage before and after check in if you have a late flight, relaxing space on the first floor, cleanliness. The complimentary breakfast made by the staff is above standards. I’m so grateful to be able to taste seaweed clam soup and Korean rice, and making your own eggs. But there are also options of bread and butter, and cereal. Fresh coffee, tea and water are also provided. At the end of the day it is a shared space and not always perfect in regards to noise, sometimes it can be noisy after 11pm. But the girls I stayed with were very nice and majority of times are open to chatting and communicating regards to lights out times. There was an incident with one staff member in the morning who wore black headphones, pink loungewear and had dark glasses. She was a bit rude regards to surroundings and almost hit me while opening the upper cupboard doors and fridge. Later, she was also disrespectful to another Chinese guest who wanted to ask a question at the front desk. Aside from this I truly enjoyed my stay here in central Jeju, and found it very comfortable and had decent privacy with the curtains. The guests were overall very respectful and I had the pleasure to meet nice people. I look forward to staying here again if I visit Jeju again.

The room's location is excellent, very close to the Qixing shopping area and Dongmen Market, and the famous Isaac Toast is right at the alley's entrance. We stayed for two nights. On the second day, when we went out to buy lunch and came back, we were a bit surprised to see our room door wide open. It turned out we forgot to hang the 'Do Not Disturb' sign, so the staff had entered to do some basic cleaning. We immediately asked them not to clean anymore after that.

My stay at this hotel has been very unpleasant. First, I felt like I was being judged based on my race. In the U.S., we don’t usually take off our shoes indoors, so I honestly forgot. I apologized, but the owner was rude and asked me if I was Chinese—which made me very uncomfortable. Second, I’m sensitive to noise. I asked to switch rooms because the air conditioner in my first room was too loud. In the second room, I could hear noise from upstairs. When I asked again, the owner said there were no rooms left and that I’d have to wait until tomorrow. Out of curiosity, I went to check the third room myself, but the owner watched me through cameras and said I was ”weird.” I don’t understand why I can’t even look around without being watched, especially when I wasn’t doing anything wrong. Lastly, there is some exercise equipment near the front desk. There’s no sign saying guests can’t use it, so I was curious and started using it. But the owner’s wife asked me, ”Why don't you go to the park to work out?”—implying that the equipment isn’t for guests. That felt really dismissive. Also, there is a camera in my room. I understand it might be for fire safety, but it still makes me feel uncomfortable—like I'm being watched. Overall, I’m just really upset by their attitude. 이 호텔에 묵는 동안 정말 불쾌한 경험을 했습니다. 첫째, 인종적으로 차별당하는 느낌을 받았습니다. 미국에서는 실내에서 신을 벗는 게 일반적이지 않아서 제가 깜빡하고 신을 벗지 않았어요. 사과드렸지만, 사장님이 무례하게 제게 ”중국인이냐”고 물으셨고, 그 점이 매우 불편했습니다. 둘째, 저는 소음에 예민한 편입니다. 첫 번째 방의 에어컨 소음이 너무 커서 방을 바꿔달라고 요청했고, 두 번째 방에서는 위층에서 소음이 들렸습니다. 다시 요청드리니 사장님은 빈 방이 없다며 내일까지 기다리라고 하셨습니다. 궁금해서 제가 직접 세 번째 방을 확인하러 갔더니, 사장님이 카메라로 지켜보다가 제가 ”이상하다”고 말씀하셨어요. 아무 잘못도 하지 않았는데, 왜 그냥 둘러보는 것조차 감시당해야 하는지 이해가 되지 않습니다. 마지막으로, 프런트 데스크 근처에 운동 기구가 있었습니다. 손님이 사용하면 안 된다는 표시가 없어서 궁금해서 사용해봤는데, 사모님이 ”공원에 가서 운동하지 그러세요?”라고 물으셨습니다—그 말은 손님은 이 기구를 쓰면 안 된다는 뜻으로 들렸습니다. 정말 무시당하는 기분이었어요. 그리고 방 안에도 카메라가 있습니다. 화재 안전을 위한 것일 수도 있다고 이해는 하지만, 그래도 계속 지켜보는 것 같아 불편합니다. 전체적으로, 그들의 태도에 정말 화가 납니다.

What I love most is the location, it is near the center. Quiet environment. The room is spacious but no sleepers only sleepers for bathroom, no complimentary coffees and teas that is usual to a hotel, kettle need to get at the reception, the towels are hand towel size. The bathroom is spacious too. There is no staff at reception when you arrive earlier than the check-in time. The key room will be at the front desk on the check-in time only. It's a self-check-in hotel. Over all I rate the Hotel to be 7 out of 10. Though some are missing I stay comfortable during my stay and also good to mention that there is a water dispenser and microwave at the reception area.

I had a comfortable stay at this hotel and found it to be a reliable choice overall. The front desk staff were polite and professional, making the check-in and check-out process quick and hassle-free. The room was spacious enough and kept tidy, with a comfortable bed and a nice view. Housekeeping did a good job maintaining cleanliness throughout my stay. I also appreciated the availability of basic amenities, which added to the convenience. The hotel’s location was a definite plus, with easy access to nearby shops and dining options. While the facilities were fairly standard, everything was functional and well-kept. There’s still a bit of room for improvement in certain areas, but nothing that significantly impacted my stay. All in all, it was a decent experience, and I would recommend this hotel to travelers looking for a simple and comfortable place to stay.

Everything was clean, from the front desk to the room. The back parking lot offers an ocean view, and the room offers a great view of the ocean as well. The proximity to the ocean makes for a great walk, and there's a 24-hour convenience store just a three-minute walk away.
