Stayed here with family, had a pleasant experience overall. The location is very convenient to explore Sungai Pelek, it's close to the HL Dragon Fruit Farm. The room was clean and comfortable, with basic amenities and a Muji design bedroom, small bathroom, not a luxury hotel, but it has everything we need for a short stay. The Aircon works well, which is important for hot weather. Peaceful environment, no noise nearby, good place to relax and unwind. Some delicious local food options, Malay, Chinese, Western, all yummy and value for money. Friendly staff, mopping the floor after raining and reminding us of the slippery floor. Check in and check out are smooth. Overall a good choice if you're looking for a simple affordable and convenient short stay in Sungai Pelek. Must try the local noodles Mee Kicap, so delicious.

I stayed here for while transferring to a different plane. The hotels around the airport are relatively expensive, so I chose this one. It's about a 10min taxi ride from the airport. It's like a hotel attached to a drive in along the highway. It's very basic, with just a shower, toilet and a single bed. Of course, there's no refrigerator, safety box, or hairdryer. However, it's clean and reasonably priced. There are several shops next to this. The bakery in particular was delicious, and the breakfast was satisfying. If you're looking for a cheap, clean place near the airport, this might be a good choice.

The only good thing about this hotel is its location, which is about a 15-minute drive to the airport in the morning. Unfortunately, the hotel was not very clean. The bedsheets looked quite old, and overall maintenance was poor. Soundproofing is also an issue—I could hear people talking and moving around. In addition, there are very limited restaurant options in the surrounding area

This hotel is super convenient for transit layovers without going through immigration. You'll need to show your passport and your connecting flight's boarding pass. If you haven't printed it before your trip, on the way from the plane to the hotel, you'll see a transfer service counter where you can queue to get your boarding pass printed. If you book in advance, a double room for 12 hours costs just over 400 yuan. It's very clean, quiet, and has a fresh air system so it doesn't feel stuffy at all. It's right next to McDonald's, which is open 24/7 for ordering food. The original large chicken pieces are delicious. The bedside table between the two beds in the double room can be removed, allowing the two beds to be pushed together to form a large bed.

Waited about 10 minutes at the door upon arrival. Called three times, but no one answered. Had to knock loudly, almost resorting to contacting Trip. A staff member finally showed up, looking very annoyed, saying, 'I was eating.' She was cold the entire time. The toilet was broken; I had to use a kettle to flush it. It was, however, relatively quiet and clean.

The room didn't even have toiletries. On the bright side, the supermarket and restaurants downstairs are very convenient, and you can even book an airport transfer service.

The area is nice. Is near to 7-11, McDonalds, and few other restaurants. Room is decent too, with nice air conditioner. However, the reception is bad, and barely have any connection in room. Using wifi also is not helping as it the signal is weak there too. Recommended if just want to sleep only.

Salak Boutique Hotel is good enough if you’re just looking for a quick overnight stop, but it falls short in several areas.The front-desk experience was weak — no proper guidance during check-in, no explanation of hotel rules, facilities, or anything a guest normally expects. The room itself had basic issues: no toothbrush or toothpaste provided, a slight smell in the bathroom, and noticeable noise coming through the walls, which kills comfort if you're planning to rest properly. For a transit stay, it works. The airport is about 15 km away, and there’s a small supermarket plus a roadside eatery nearby, which is convenient. But beyond that, the surroundings don’t offer much, and the hotel doesn’t have additional facilities to make up for it. If you just need a bed for one night and don’t expect service or amenities, it’s acceptable. For anything more, I wouldn’t recommend it. Final Rating: 7/10

The first time person will find difficult to search location of the homestay ,if the address put between those shop lot or kedai makan ,it will be easier for those solo travelers,thank you . anyways,very comfortable
