Days Inn by Wyndham Washington DC/Connecticut Avenue

The location is decent, not far from the Chinese Embassy. There's a subway station less than 300 meters from the hotel. There's also a large supermarket nearby where you can buy fresh produce and food. The room size is moderate, but the bathroom is very small and old. The toiletries provided are not of good quality. It was difficult to get a taxi near the hotel, so I ended up taking the subway to the airport.

This was my first trip to Washington, D.C. Because I snore quite loudly and didn't want to disturb other guests, I opted for a capsule-style room instead of a typical hostel. Although the space wasn't large, the amenities were excellent, and the privacy was great, making me feel very comfortable. The staff at the front desk were friendly and attentive, and they even offered a breakfast discount for guests – a very thoughtful touch. The hotel was conveniently located next to a subway and bus station. Whether you're traveling independently or staying for a short vacation, I highly recommend this accommodation – convenient and comfortable!

Only consider this place if you absolutely can't find anything better. The check-in system is incredibly complicated. It's all self-service based on instructions on the door, but nobody gets it right on the first try! You get stressed, the code doesn't work, something goes wrong. There are no keys; everything is done via your phone: you enter a code for the outer hostel door, then another code for the inner door, then a code to enter your room, then a code for your capsule, and finally a code for your locker. It's a nightmare. And when things don't work right away, or at all, it's incredibly frustrating. The location is good, yes, but there aren't many cafes, restaurants, or shops nearby. Finding food will be difficult. Our room had 10 female-only sleeping pods. Thank God nobody snored, but: someone came in at 11 PM, someone arrived from the airport at 1 AM to check in, someone else had a 5 AM train and needed to get to the station. People are constantly opening and closing suitcases, and the room feels like a revolving door. It's all very loud. The capsule doors open and close very, very loudly, and people talk inside them too. It's incredibly hard to sleep. If you're sensitive to noise, it's impossible. The bathrooms are quite clean; I can't complain, they're decent. The shower pressure is good, the hot water is good, and there were no queues. Yes, there's some hair lying around, but what do you expect with so many people? As mentioned in previous reviews, no breakfast is provided, even though it's listed. There's a kitchen with all the utensils, and that's it. If you want, you can buy groceries and cook. There's a hot/cold water dispenser, salt/sugar, and spices. That's all. There's a laundry service for $10. Hairdryers, irons, and ironing boards are free. The Wi-Fi is good everywhere. The hostel has 3 floors, and if your room is on the 3rd floor, like mine was, lugging a heavy suitcase up those high stairs is quite an experience. In short, if you're really pinching pennies for 1-2 nights, it might be an option, but it's better to pay a bit more and find something with a private room, even if it has a shared bathroom/toilet on the floor. At least you'll be sleeping alone in your room.

There is coffee on the first floor, courteous service, soft and hard beds, large rooms, classic style, separate bathroom, hot air conditioning and TV, and the price is not high

Overall, the hotel is good and not too far from the center. It's a bit complicated to get through metro but otherwise the service is warm and kind.

The room is clean and tidy. Although it is small, the facilities are antique and simple, but basically sufficient. A warm family hotel. Breakfast is included in the room rate, which is a standard configuration and tastes good. Very convenient, close to the White House (900). Room cleaning needs to be paid separately, but towels will be changed and garbage will be collected every day.

There was an important event in Washington, and all the major hotels were booked or extremely expensive, so we chose this one. It's actually a motel, and I can't say much about it, after all, the price is there.

Clean and tidy, but the hardware facilities are too old, there are many restaurants and Wal-Mart around, there are several gas stations are much cheaper than the city, the price is not bad for self-driving tour
