We wanted to experience Dogo Onsen and this was a great choice (albeit expensive because it was a holiday weekend). The hotel is lovely and the service is beyond excellent. The staff was super kind as we are English speakers. Plus, we really enjoyed the hotels onsens better than the ones in town (the Dogo Onsen is being renovated and only one room was open for each gender; the same was the case with the Annex). The hotels onsens were lovely and the private outdoor onsen was a really lovely experience. We also took advantage of their convenient bus service into town although it’s only a 10 minute walk and we walked multiple times. Highly recommend!

The room is relatively small, but there is a hot spring on the top floor. There is a foot bath at the entrance of the first floor. The commercial street is at the door. Take the bus from Matsuyama Station to Okaido and get off. If you want to go to Matsuyama Castle, walk about 100 meters north on the other side of Okaido Station to take the cable car.

Very close to the main street (8 minutes walk), the room is big and the breakfast is good, clean and tidy. The only drawback is that there is a turbine-like sound (I don't know where it comes from? Maybe there is a machine near the room?) I will be scared by this sound in the dead of night🤣, so I don't turn off the lights when I go to bed at night😖⋯⋯Apart from this, there is nothing to complain about, everything is good

I always use this hotel when I come to Matsuyama with my wheelchair-bound mother to visit my son. We are traveling from Tokushima to Matsuyama. My son's birthday is on March 22nd, so it's a little early, but this time I stayed overnight with my husband. The staff were very attentive and kind, and the hotel was very relaxing and I felt like a celebrity. We are also advertising the hotel in Tokushima, so please take care of yourself and do your best. I will come again with my mother. Thank you very much 😊 I am grateful.

Provides luggage storage service which is nice, and very close to attractions such as Matsuyama castle. Not to mention that it is close to the tram station as well.

This hotel is very conveniently located. It's within walking distance of the ropeway to Matsuyama Castle and very close to trams going in both directions around the city center. My wife and I would definitely stay here again; it's less congested than the Dogo Onsen area. The staff are all very kind. The bed was very comfortable.

Breakfast spread is good and service staff attentive. Location is within walking distance to Takashimaya and JR Matsumaya Station. Bathroom is of decent size by Japanese standard. Only issue is parking is not within the hotel and had to park 50m away and hence loading/unloading of luggage is a bit troublesome

Location is very nice. Walking distance to matsuyama station. The front desks did not speak english so it was a little bit of a pain but their customer service was very outstanding. Buffet was amazing in the morning

Very well located hotel in Dogo Onsen. Shops and restaurants around the corner. Few minutes walk to the Dogo station (tram and bus). Free good coffee for breakfast (even if you don’t buy breakfast (not expensive)). Helpful staff. Smallish room with excellent bed and shower/bath. Very good Price-Quality. On the ‘hill’ behind the Honkan Onsen (seen from the hotel) there is an Information. They have some free short walks printed. There is also a free footbath with a view on the Honkan (and the Patio hotel). Famous temple 51 is 20-30 minutes walk from the hotel or take a bus.
