__WeChat41463****What I appreciated most about this hotel is that being on the 80th-plus floor, you're essentially above Jakarta's hustle and bustle. There's absolutely no traffic or religious prayer noise, making for an excellent sleep experience. The room facilities are simple but very new, modern, and bright, completely avoiding the classic yet stale and slightly oppressive atmosphere found in many older five-star hotels in Jakarta. The TV and sound system have stereo, and the bathtub provides instant hot water. For these reasons alone, I highly recommend it for a weekend staycation or a short business trip.
The hotel only has one restaurant and one high-altitude bar, both sharing a high-rise terrace. The lobby is also quite small and lacks a lobby bar. The pool and gym are on the smaller side. While the dining and entertainment options might be a bit limited, overall it's extremely comfortable and the minor drawbacks don't detract from its overall appeal. Highly recommended.

GGuest UserThe room was very spacious for 2 people. Great selection for the ala carte buffet breakfast, with great popcorn latte. Then the pool has a great view of the city with full length pool and jacuzzi. It was very near to the Gelora stadium, where we attended the Blackpink concert. The reception and all personel were friendly and accommodating. Would like to come back if I stay again in Jakarta.

TTravellingmaudeThe location is a big plus. Set right in the heart of the city, next to Grand Indonesia and Thamrin City Mall, it’s extremely convenient, especially for anyone who enjoys shopping or wants everything within walking distance.
Arrival was pleasant, with a warm welcome from the staff. They were very helpful and consistently courteous, with special attention shown to senior citizens, which was appreciated.
We booked a two bedroom apartment, which was very spacious and practical. The unit is well equipped for longer stays, with a washing machine, water dispenser, microwave, and a full set of kitchen utensils, making it easy to manage daily routines. The decor, however, feels a bit dated, and I did notice a slight odour, likely from furniture that could use a deeper clean.
The bedding was acceptable. The mattress was comfortable enough, but the pillows were too soft for my liking and didn’t provide much support.
The bathroom experience was much better. The shower was excellent with good water pressure and reliable hot water. Toiletries were complete and pleasantly scented, with a spa like aromatherapy feel. One downside was the bath towel, which felt worn out and unusually small, closer to the size of a bath mat than a proper towel.
Breakfast was decent but not extensive. It covered the basics and was sufficient, though nothing particularly memorable.
Overall, Ascott Jakarta works well for longer stays with family, mainly due to its spacious apartments and unbeatable central location. With some updates to furnishings and linens, the stay could be significantly improved.

GGuest UserThe good: The huge rooms , samsung tv with seamless connection and fast internet speed allowing multiple devices. The bath tub and direct access to mall. The staff are so friendly, as they greet and have a nice smile or small talk. Very good english so no issue for communication. Easy to have taxi as they have bluebird taxi on standby.
The bad : The breakfast food was disappointing for family with kid so we did not go back after first day. For business traveller who needs a bite and go, it will suffice. Not for long-term stay. The ascott reward point system was bad - it was a week after we check out.. i finally sign up but don't see my stay, so i email and hope that support team can have this first past reservation added. During stay, I had to let plumbing come in to fix an issue with a leak for lower floor - amazingly it happen when we have not even used the bath tub. The fix took an hour plus. Request happen at 4 pm and we are at home. Swimming pool (1.2metre for adult pool) is okay for kids - at least a toddler pool but no slides.
Conclusion: Enjoy the hotel access to shopping mall, availability of large food choices on delivery app and posh feeling - so will still recommend.

The toilet was dirty with many Brown dirty presence almost on every corner.
The shower curtain is old, durty and not nice.

Sofa is with stains.
