5-Star Hotels in Auckland

This is a great hotel for Chinese travelers, I stayed for a month! There was daily housekeeping, and as soon as I hung up the phone, the attendant arrived – that's China speed! Mineral water was provided daily, which saved me a lot of money. The room had a washing machine, a large refrigerator, a coffee machine, a toaster, a microwave… everything you could need. I really didn't want to leave! Right next door is a Chinese supermarket with good quality and low prices. It's about a 15-minute walk to a mall and another supermarket, and a bit further there are many Chinese restaurants. Staying here is incredibly convenient! Just a few minutes' drive away is a bay; there are so many bays on the North Shore, all so close to each other. Oh, and right across from the hotel is a popular internet-famous cafe – if you go late, you'll have to queue. Every morning, I woke up, drove to different bays and different cafes for breakfast, and saw different seas. It was truly delightful 😌

Convenient, modern accommodation with city views and from the upper floors you can see the harbour Bridge, floor to ceiling blinds and curtains, not automatic curtains.. Lighting was fine.. The hotel is right next to a television studio and while the satellite fished pointed away the two broadcast dishes pointed at the hotel.. In the rooms there seem to be No international power points and you must request free water at reception. Breakfast was okay but disappointed to find only jugs of filtered coffee and not the automatic barrista machines found at most international hotels. If you wanted your Latte it would cost extra. At $NZ45 pp I found the variety of food a little less than expected probably because the space used was restrictive , Table seating was firm and table layout was good. I found the king bed in our room a little uncomfortable for me as I prefer a hard mattress.. We were upgraded to a higher floor room by staff..what this means I am sure is just to make you feel privileged.. The rooms had a quality feel a out the. Overall I would recommend a stay here definitely .. The dinning hall has a nice feel to it.. As does the bar. Very modern building and quite attractive inside and out. Just a final note, hotels in Auckland need to lift their offerings compared to international hotels in terms of service offerings. As this hotel and others in the area are definitely aimed at international tourists.

The hotel is conveniently located right by the airport terminal. The room was spacious and I loved having a separate toilet and shower! We chose an airport hotel because we had plenty of time on our return day. We added breakfast, and if you're not expecting anything fancy, you won't be disappointed (haha).

Service is excellent! I absolutely love the idea of shuttle bus service as it is slightly away from the central area. The front desk arranged my luggage to be placed in the room upon my arrival. The room itself is clean and tidy. They play harp, and give away free cotton candy in the afternoon. I made two seperate bookings and enjoyed both room style.

The hotel is close to the harbor, and Queen Street is just across the road, making it very convenient to get around. The room offers a partial sea view and is a decent size. The bed is comfortable and large enough for two people. Cleanliness is not an issue, and the coffee is good. However, the room lighting is too dim, which I didn't like. The windows aren't soundproof, so you can hear outside noise late at night on weekends. If you're only staying in Auckland for a short visit and exploring the city, this is a great choice, especially recommended for families with children.

Cleanliness: Generally acceptable. Environment: Within a 5-10 minute walk to the beach, Sky Tower, Queen Street, supermarkets, and pharmacies – very convenient. Service: Toothbrushes, toothpaste, and tissues can be requested via phone and were delivered fairly promptly. The front desk was extremely busy with a constant stream of check-ins and check-outs, and there were many Chinese tourists. If you had a lot of luggage, you were largely ignored and not offered assistance. Facilities: The bathroom sink was very small and inconvenient to use. Breakfast: There's a Chinese menu, but it's important to note that the menu for tour groups and individual guests differs. Staying for several days, I once received the group menu and had to request a change. The beef was very salty and tough – not good. The burrito was decent, and the omelet was a safe bet.

We checked in late in the night. We needed an extra bed in our room and Front desk did not say no even though Hoise keeping was not available. 10 stars to the hospitality! Rooms were big enough, hotel within walking distance to Sky tower. All in all everything was superb!

Auckland is New Zealand's largest city, accounting for about a third of the country's population and economy, with over 1.6 million people. That's less than a tenth of Shanghai's population, and the city is much smaller. The advantage is that the city center is very compact, making it perfect for a city walk. Those two days I was running, I even thought about running to the airport, but then I changed my mind and ran along the coast and to Mount Eden instead. The hotel's location is quite good, on a hill, just a few minutes' walk from the harbor, and all the busiest areas are nearby. JW Marriott is a step up from Marriott or Sheraton but not quite on par with a Ritz-Carlton. I arrived on a red-eye flight and slept until midnight after checking in. Dinner was long over, and I didn't get back to sleep until nearly dawn, so I missed breakfast. Hmm, I have no idea how the restaurant is here.

We had a lovely stay at Woodhouse Mountain Lodge. The staff were warm and friendly the bed was comfortable and waking up to the beautiful mountain and nature views was a real highlight. We enjoyed the pool, outdoor spa, and tennis court and loved relaxing in the cozy lounge playing chess. It felt like a home away from home and was perfect for a family getaway. Our 9-year-old daughter loved it too. The lounge and bar were beautiful spaces to relax and take great photos and the food and drinks were delicious. We would happily stay here again.

A very cost-effective living option. We brought two babies and booked a 90-square-meter two-bedroom, one-living room apartment. The floor-to-ceiling windows are basically full of sea views, and the balcony is also full of sea views. It is very convenient to walk to the beach. It is suitable for families with children, friends gatherings, client receptions, etc. They are all independent houses with good privacy. The most important thing is that the price of 340 New Zealand dollars also includes breakfast for our family of four. The breakfast is also good and worth experiencing. It is very convenient to drive to Auckland in an hour. Suggestion: If the kitchen can be equipped with more pots and stoves, it will be more suitable for staying for a few days.
