Haikou Hotels with Swimming Pools

Let's start with the positives. The rooms at the hotel were undeniably great. They were spacious, well-designed, and offered a comfortable ambiance. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail in the room decor, making it a pleasant space to relax after a long day of exploring the area. The hotel's breakfast selection was another highlight of my stay. There was a good variety of options, and the quality of the food was quite impressive. Starting my day with a satisfying breakfast definitely set a positive tone for my daily adventures. Though the overall service at the hotel was just okay, there was one staff member who stood out and made a significant difference in my stay - Kitty. Kitty's exceptional assistance and attentiveness were truly commendable. She went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed and provided excellent recommendations for local attractions and dining options. However, there were some glaring issues that affected my experience. First and foremost, the Wi-Fi connection was terrible. As a traveler, having reliable internet access is essential for staying connected and planning daily activities. Unfortunately, the unreliable Wi-Fi at the hotel made this difficult, and it was quite frustrating. Additionally, the swimming pool was a letdown. Despite appearing beautiful in the pictures, it was actually dirty during my stay. I was looking forward to relaxing by the poolside, but the unclean water made it an unappealing option. Furthermore, the location of the hotel was a significant drawback. It was far from most of the popular attractions and amenities, making it inconvenient and time-consuming to travel to places of interest. I found myself spending more time commuting than enjoying the destination itself. On the culinary front, while there was a restaurant called ”China First,” the food was indeed excellent. However, I can't overlook the fact that it was expensive, and overall, the hotel felt overpriced for the amenities and services provided.

Although the hotel is a five-star hotel, it is relatively old. The overall service is OK, and the airport drop-off service is great! I will choose this hotel again next time I come to Haikou! The hotel's breakfast is still very rich!

Check-in experience  The overall service awareness is very strong, the supporting facilities are very complete, there are , the nearby transportation is convenient, there is a 24-hour butler in WeChat, and the reply will be given at any time. If you have any needs, the butler will respond in time. You can provide mineral water towels and various kinds of once a day according to the requirements. Sexual supplies, as a homestay, this is not much different from a hotel .

This is really a treasure hotel. The whole family gave it a five-star rating. It is definitely worth recommending! We will choose to stay here next time we come to Haikou. Thumbs up for the cleaning department 👍 Facilities: The new hotel in 2024, from the lobby, restaurant, corridor, room, all the facilities are new, high-quality and clean, especially the room, which is clean, bright and high-quality. There are separate living rooms and rooms to meet the needs of family members for activities and rest in different areas. Catering: The hotel's breakfast is very rich, high-quality and delicious, the supplementary dishes are very timely and sufficient, the environment layout and decoration are also very elegant, and the whole family is very happy to eat. Environment: It is very convenient to travel, shop and eat around the hotel. The hotel has its own parking lot. You can park for free by providing your license plate number when you check in. There is a very popular Lao Ba Cha in Haikou near the hotel - Ju Fu An, which is very good and worth recommending!

The first time I stayed at Intercity Hotel Haikou, I was deeply impressed! The room was clean and bright, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the hotel's care was evident in the details. The location was also very convenient, with the bus stop just a few minutes' walk away and many food stores nearby. I especially want to praise the front desk staff, whose service was really considerate! When we checked in, she took the initiative to help us upgrade to a high-floor viewing room, and also hand-painted a map of nearby authentic snacks; on the day of check-out, there was a sudden rainstorm, and she not only lent us an umbrella, but also helped us book a special car to the airport. She provided smiling service throughout the whole journey, patiently answering every question, just as thoughtful as a friend. This home-away-from-home experience made the whole journey full of warmth, and I will definitely choose here again next time I come to Haikou!

I stayed here with my eldest son a few years ago, and I stayed here again with my younger brother this year. It is close to the beach, and you can reach the beach by crossing the road. There is also a hot spring swimming pool and a fish therapy pool in the hotel. There is a place for children to play even if they don't go to the beach. The room is not small, and the price-performance ratio is very high

The hotel is still very good, the service is good, the beach is right outside, the sea breeze can be felt when the window is open, and there is no noise as others have said when the window is closed. Without mentioning the advantages, let's talk about the areas that need improvement: 1. It is indeed a bit late to arrive at the hotel at 9 pm, but it is also true that the bananas given as gifts are black, so it is better to change to other fruits; 2. The hotel linens are not washed cleanly, and there are yellow ”small maps”. Fortunately, I brought the sheets with me this time, otherwise I would definitely check out.

The hotel is situated in a wonderful area of the city. Generally, the common areas are well-maintained, and the service offered is of a high standard. The rooms are large and spacious. In our case, the view of the sea and Haikou's skyline was marvelous. The breakfast was good but not at the level of what we experienced at the Intercontinental in Beijing. As for areas of improvement, I would suggest adding smart TVs and hiring more staff proficient in English.
