However, hotel is a little bit old and old style if you don’t mind, you can hear the air con, pipes or the sound of the next room at night, so if you are “lucky” to get one of these rooms, try to ask for another one. Be aware not to open the window, there’s mosquitoes to annoy you whole night. Remember to get mosquito repellent at the convenient store nearby. Breakfast include vegetarian selection with buffet style, eat all you want. **********************************************************

Because it was a temporary step-down on Friday night, because the time to Taichung was close to 12 o'clock, I quickly booked this hotel on the reservation website ”thinking that the CP value is very high” (2 thousand or more), and set off. As a result, I didn't receive the number when I arrived at the hotel. Contact customer service to return, did I not check in? Is it so exaggerated? ! Even a receipt was not provided, that's fine, after entering the room, there are two towels and basic accessories, even a water absorbent pad. Do you mean to ask me to step on the floor outside? The sound insulation is very poor. I said that I checked out at 11 o'clock at 10:30 the next day. I don't know that the check-out time is at 11 o'clock. I can quickly clean up and check out. Shouldn't this hotel with 0 service and 0 equipment be able to find 1,000? ! In short, it is directly blacklisted, unless you are going to sleep, it is strongly recommended to try another cheaper hotel. The only thing that can be recommended is that the hot water is very hot, and the TV is clear.

this hotel has a very nice location. walking distance to the night market and so many restaurants close by. the best beef noodle shop is across the street. we ordered twice there. the hotel has a car park, which is very nice. first time taking an elevator to the car park. the staff are very friendly.

Booked through Ctrip's new user discount, the VIP king room is priced at 3061 per night on weekdays. The hotel is located on Taiwan Avenue, which is a traffic artery in Taichung City. It is very convenient. It is about 10 minutes' drive from Fengjia Tourist Night Market. The room is decorated in a classic style. The bed is moderately soft and hard, and I find it comfortable and easy to sleep in. The swimming pool saunas are open, and reservations are required before using the saunas. The breakfast menu is rich, including Taichung's special fried noodles with Dongquan chili sauce. The freshly squeezed juice is delicious. My boyfriend who lives with me also likes the breakfast dishes. Evergreen Laurel Hotel Taichung is considered a five-star hotel with a high CP value in Taiwan. Although the building and equipment have a sense of age, they feel that they have been carefully maintained. I will visit again next time I come to Taichung!

There was a bathtub and the room was clean, which was nice! However, the lighting was a little dim, so it might be a little inconvenient when putting on makeup.

It is a good hotel with good service. Walking distance to yi zhong street but it is a 15 mins walk. Near to train and bus station but the hotel is not in the central area of taichung. Across the hotel is Taichung Park. Room wise is good enough with basic items. Additional item can be collected from the reception at level 1

Near the train and bus station which is convenient to travel to tourist places like Sun moon lake. But it is a distance away from the famous Feng chia night market. It will take about 30mins bus ride and the bus frequency is low ( waiting time up to 30mins). The room is small for 2 pax but for the price I would say it is reasonable.

Hotel opened ~12mo ago, entire building is new. Whatever growing pains it had, the Le Meridien Taichung has figured most of them out. This brand can be hit/miss depending on city, but the Le Meridien Taichung is a great property. Well-appointed rooms are huge (60 sq m+), even the walk-in shower is huge. Lots of electrical outlets/USB for charging devices. Wi-Fi access points work everywhere in the building. Great views of the Central/East Districts and Main Station, especially at night. Amazing price point for this level of hotel quality. Service is where Le Meridien Taichung shines. Exec Lounge team so helpful, special thanks to Angel, Lisa, Irin, Yang. Concierge helped us with check-in and restaurants (Billy, Wilber, Debbie). And Marriott app chat with Front Desk works great, responded within minutes. Parking in the underground garage (elevators run directly to room floors with your key) with in/out privileges is free for guests. Front Desk will add your license plate number, cameras at gates will read it. Oddly, the Marriott app shows daily fee TWD 2400 which is almost half the daily rate. (Obviously still ironing out some stuff.)

I booked this hotel as it stated that there are parking lots. When I came to check in, staff only said that there were not available and directed me to the near by parking where I have to pay fee. Staff who are at the counter check in were not so friendly, unlike the staff who are at the breakfast entrance and in front of the elevator area, they were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and we got the view where we can see the main train station.

Clean is small but super clean and comfy. Breakfast choice was good and changed every day throughout the entire 3 days of stay. The additional plus point would be the free laundry room at Ground Floor which you can wash for your clothes and dry them free. Staffs are polite and kind to assist you with any enquires that you have. All in all, a pleasant stay at City Inn Hotel (Taichung) and would return again for the same hotel the next trip. Lastly kudos to staff - Emma who has helped to maintain the cleanliness of Room 701 throughout the entire 3 days. Appreciate your effort. Thank you 😊
