Taichung Hotels with Parking

The hotel was clean, and the front desk staff provided excellent service. When we reported an issue with the air conditioning, they resolved it immediately—very efficient! They also offer free laundry facilities to wash and dry clothes, which we loved. Highly recommended!

Overall, I was quite disappointed. Right from check-in, the staff couldn't find my reservation, and they even asked for my surname in English, and the number and gender of guests, which was a bit odd. I noticed a lot of things because I was waiting for my luggage in the lobby for a very long time. The seating area around the art installation in the lobby was dusty, especially the back rows, and the outdoor area was full of fallen leaves. While I was busy with my child and family arranging crafts, my luggage had already been taken to the room. When I realized I needed my carry-on bag, the staff said they would retrieve it from the room for me (we hadn't even checked into the room yet). I had a carry-on with my child's daily essentials, and my child needed to use the restroom. So, we waited in the lobby for that bag for nearly 20 minutes. Regarding the other facilities, the welcome tea was incredibly simple. The window in our room had large water stains on the glass (I initially thought it was fog). Below our room, there was an area with weeds and what looked like abandoned moss, which felt out of place. It seemed like the most effort the hotel put in was the gardening, and I couldn't understand why this particular area existed; it was a huge contrast. Considering all meal costs are extra, it really didn't offer good value for money at all. The food, however, was very good, and the laundry service was a plus. All the staff members were friendly and welcoming. If the room rates were lower, I might consider revisiting. But if the prices and facilities remain as they are, I won't be returning.

The room was neat and clean, with a Japanese-style decor, although the mattress felt a bit firm. The location is convenient; the 6th Market is on the third floor, and Sogo is right across the street, making dining and shopping very accessible.

I came for a business trip with a truck, and the front desk staff said that the flat parking lot couldn't accommodate trucks. They let me park this time but said it wouldn't be available next time. If they don't accept trucks, they should state it clearly on the booking information. The staff's tone was also very annoying. In the morning, there was construction noise at the main entrance while we were dining. Although it didn't really affect us, there should at least be some safety precautions like traffic cones or warning tape, but I didn't see any.

I really like this place! I stayed there for almost two weeks. It was convenient to walk to the train station, and since I was working remotely, the common area was a good place for that! The room was small but practical enough. The view was nice. Overall this hotel is no my go-to-place when I come to Taichung.

This was a business trip, and I found this Japanese-style hotel close to my work location, within walking distance. The hotel has a very Japanese feel to it, and for a solo traveler, the room was spacious and comfortable. They also offer snacks for guests, which is a very thoughtful touch. I'll definitely prioritize this hotel next time I need accommodation!

The hotel offers good value for money, but the breakfast selection was just so-so. On our second day, we visited the Second Market, recommended by locals, which was only about a 5-minute walk away. You *must* try the Shan He Braised Pork Rice, beef pan-fried buns, and Lao Lai Black Tea! We had a great time walking around and eating, and our brunch was easily sorted. As for the room, the bed is right in front of you as soon as you open the door. However, the toilet and shower areas are separated (wet and dry), and there's enough space to open a large suitcase. P.S. There are no convenience stores right near the hotel; you'll have to walk a bit to find one.

The bed was comfortable, and there was also a seating area with a sofa. A large desk with connections for a laptop and charging options for phones is convenient for those who need it. The bathroom itself is very large. The hotel appears well-maintained. The parking garage was a big plus. The breakfast was good, with plenty of choices. If I had to mention one minor drawback, it would be that the room didn't smell very fresh. It was as if someone had smoked in it, despite it being a non-smoking room. But thankfully, it wasn't too intense.

The thoughtful amenities were a huge plus—having complimentary daily coffee and convenient water refill stations on-site added great value to the stay. On the downside, the room and bathroom are on the compact side. The bed was a bit too soft for my preference, and the room felt slightly damp at times. Noise can also occasionally drift in. Overall, it is a stylish and convenient base if you prioritize location and design over room size.

The hotel wasn't as dated as I expected and was pretty comfortable. It offers convenient on-site parking. However, spaces are limited, so arriving late might mean you won't find a spot. If you've mentioned your parking needs in your booking, it's worth asking the front desk if they can still assist, even if the lot seems full. There isn't much in the immediate vicinity; the nearest convenience store is a bit of a walk.
