Location is quite a distance from the city centre. Need to walk 10-15min to find local shops and eateries. Just across the hotel got a good-size supermarket. Bought local fruits for breakfast. No malls, night markets or shopping areas nearby. Room is spacious but rather old that needs upgrading. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good but selection rather limited. No yogurt and limited selection of fruits. Overall a reasonable good stay.

Everything was great except when it was cold at 7 degrees. I tried to take a hot bath in the tub and the hot water turned cold after few minutes and there was no more hot water after that. The next morning the heated pool was also not warm enough. I was told by the pool guard the that the heating system for the rooms was out of order the night before but only the rooms were affected. Rooms are spacious. Would be great if hotel can provide shuttle service to town, night markets, places of interest or major hot spots on demand.

The location of the hotel is very convenient. There are many delicious restaurants around. Unfortunately, the sound insulation is not bad, and parking has to wait for the elevator to go up and down, which is a bit troublesome to get in and out. Secondly, some rooms are really very small, and the hanging decoration next to the bed will knock on the guests, so it is a very strange small room. Hotel was located within 10 mins car ride from the Taichung HSR station. However while it was advertised that the hotel is near to Feng Chia Night Market, it was not that near afterall. It was about a 15-20 mins walk one-way. Main attractions that we were visiting during this trip was also mainly located nearer to the TRA station. Nevertheless, the staff are generally quite helpful and attentive, helping us to call for cabs on numerous occasions. Room was decent and comfortable also. Only downside for us was the location. Otherwise enjoyable stay.

I went to the hotel at 11:30 to store my luggage, but there was no one at the hotel counter. The person who answered the service phone said he would notify me, but no one answered the call when I called the hotel counter, and the door was locked until 1 At half past 30, a foreign cleaning staff came back to open the door. I was in a bad mood from the beginning. In the room I checked in after visiting the night market, the TV couldn’t be switched. After I informed the receptionist, he came to help me and tried to fix it. But in the end I had no choice but to change my room. Fortunately, the receptionist at night was very nice and kind.
