Not too far fm Feng Jia night market by taxi ＜10mins, you can call a taxi from 7-eleven. The hotel room is practical huge bed, and breakfast selection is good and nice food. Very accommodating staff, my young one not eating much so they pack for him some bread.

Maybe the hotel is still in the early stage of operation, and it seems that there is a shortage of staff and training. When checking in, the counter staff did not take the initiative to find out that I booked 2 rooms. When the time came and I wanted to get the room card, I found that I could only check in one room. I have to check in again...it took a lot of time. The restaurant does not provide dinner service, which is very inconvenient. When I was cleaning the house, I saw the process of changing the bed sheets. They actually put the quilt directly on the dirty floor... I was speechless... It feels like a big hotel, but the only facilities available are the gym and spa, which are a bit weak. The parking lot has good lighting and is convenient for parking. The beer and cocktails on the 2nd floor are great, and the lobby is very comfortable. There are only water dispensers on 2F and 8F, so getting water is not convenient.

Located opposite Taichung Station (especially easy to find, if you can't find it, please go to the eye department...hahaha), the hotel is condescending to browse the train station entry and exit dynamics, it is really a mystery! The hotel has a exquisite and beautiful environment, a strong cultural and Qing flavor, and a very relaxing place. The price is also very close to the people, very suitable for travelers who say they go. Overall, it is quite a good accommodation experience, it is worth recommending to you who want to travel~ (*^▽^*) Good

The hotel was not near any train station ao we have to take a taxi from Taichung HSR to the hotel. Check in was smooth and the room was one of the best hotel we have stayed in Taiwan. Very spacious and clean. Comes with bathtub and a TV while you are soaking. We got a very nice room that we are able to see countdown fireworks. Hotel location is good as it is about 5 mins walking dostance to Fengjia Night Market. Walkable to convinence stores and eateries. Highly recommend to stay here.

After trying several hotels, now I always stay in Lin whenever I am in Taichung. Centrally located and best hotel. Room size is too big and breakfast buffet spread is also very vast

Hotel opened ~12mo ago, entire building is new. Whatever growing pains it had, the Le Meridien Taichung has figured most of them out. This brand can be hit/miss depending on city, but the Le Meridien Taichung is a great property. Well-appointed rooms are huge (60 sq m+), even the walk-in shower is huge. Lots of electrical outlets/USB for charging devices. Wi-Fi access points work everywhere in the building. Great views of the Central/East Districts and Main Station, especially at night. Amazing price point for this level of hotel quality. Service is where Le Meridien Taichung shines. Exec Lounge team so helpful, special thanks to Angel, Lisa, Irin, Yang. Concierge helped us with check-in and restaurants (Billy, Wilber, Debbie). And Marriott app chat with Front Desk works great, responded within minutes. Parking in the underground garage (elevators run directly to room floors with your key) with in/out privileges is free for guests. Front Desk will add your license plate number, cameras at gates will read it. Oddly, the Marriott app shows daily fee TWD 2400 which is almost half the daily rate. (Obviously still ironing out some stuff.)

Location is great! Theres a taxi stop/line right in front of the hotel. There’s so many things to do and explore around the hotel, the kids love it. We enjoy the breakfast buffet too! We would like to stay there again next time!

Love our stay at this hotel! The supper and breakfast were nice and my parents love their foot bath service so much! Definitely recommend this hotel!

Overall services were good, from concierge, to check in and check out. The room that was allocated to us was spacious however they could have done better to do regular maintenance on their TV channels and systems. Some channels showed black screen with audio whereas some with visuals but no audio. Called up for service and they got a technician over to check yet no outcome and they decided to brush me off by blaming it on system updates backend. Tried over the next few days and still didn't work, and gave up eventually. Not returning to this hotel for my next trip to Taichung.
