Kaishen Hotel

The central air conditioning throughout the building was nice and cool. The location is excellent, very close to Tiehua Village and Taitung Night Market, both within walking distance. It's great that check-out is as late as noon. For this price, including breakfast is incredibly generous. For mains, they offer congee (with options like pork floss, peanuts, pickled cucumber, and preserved bean curd), rice (with minced pork sauce), small steamed buns, and toast (with spreads and a toaster available). There are also vegetables (labeled vegetarian), boiled eggs, and braised chicken wings. Drinks include soy milk and orange juice. When it's busy, there are tables and sofas in the 1F lobby where you can chat, as long as you're not too loud. After checking out, you can store your luggage and also relax in the 1F lobby while waiting for your train. I recommend taking the train to Taitung Station and renting a scooter for convenient transportation.

The breakfast selection was decent, featuring fresh ingredients, and the restaurant staff were very friendly. The front desk team was also quick and helpful in responding to and resolving any queries. Overall, while the room facilities felt a bit dated, the cleanliness was excellent. My only minor issue was the rather poor soundproofing.

The hotel has an excellent location, and parking is available. The room size was quite decent. The only slight drawback was a seemingly clogged toilet in the bathroom (on the seventh floor). For breakfast, there were four main dishes, along with congee, braised pork rice, toast, and steamed buns to choose from. It's a very good hotel.

The environment was very comfortable. Having a Muji right next door was incredibly convenient; if you forgot any toiletries or daily essentials, you could just pop over to buy them. The service was excellent; when the TV wasn't working, they promptly came to fix it. We also received a thoughtful reminder before check-out. Light daily housekeeping is available. The location is very central.

The front desk staff were incredibly friendly. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Taitung.
