Lovely food and generous portions, the chicken was to die for! Food and drinks were good value for money. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, and our waiter Mark was very pleasant 🙂 we will definitely come back if we are in the area again

Wonderful traditional pub/b&b. I stayed for 2 nights whilst down in Somerset, comfy beds and good sized rooms. The shared bathroom wasn't an issue, if anything it adds to the character. Really enjoyed the food, lots of options on the menu and specials board, and there is a great selection of local ales and cider on tap. Would definitely stay here again.

Best village pub ever! Friendly landlord & staff. Excellent food, generous servings, reasonably priced. We come back here time & time again, always very good. Would highly recommend! Also has quiz nights, curry nights & a three day beer & cider festival for three days at the end of July with many musical artists to enjoy! Don’t miss out on this little jewel ! 👍🎶🥂

Had a meal in their restaurant which had a wide choice of meals, well priced and when served was delicious and with ample quantity. The staff were courteous, made sure we were satisfied and were efficient delivering the meals in a timely manner. The publican was jolly, welcoming and friendly and the atmosphere was cordial. In all a good memorable experience.

A proper village pub with great food and atmosphere. Friendly staff and a comfortable room made it a very pleasant stay. The pub is ideally located for a visit to Taunton for the cricket! Thoroughly recommended.

Was so very Lucky to find this nice village Pub! plenty of rooms! Great food! Great beers! Very clean rooms! Its a old building so it has its quirky side to it! Loads of secure Parking. My host Wendy was superb & did her utmost to make my stay a perfect one! 10 out of 10.

Good value with friendly and helpful staff and a big breakfast! Don't expect luxury but everything has been done nicely and rooms are clean and recently decorated. Never a big fan of shared bathrooms but think some rooms have en-suite.

Stayed here for three nights as a group of us had rented the Kibbear Farmhouse nearby but we needed an extra room. Luckily this excellent pub/B&B is just a short walk away and so work perfectly for us. Our room had just been re-decorated and so was looking fresh and inviting. We chose one of the en-suite rooms and so this had a shower and everything else you would expect. The room had tea/coffee making facilities, some biscuits, a hairdryer and a tv all provided. The breakfast was really good. Some days we had the full english and others requested a continental option. Tea/coffee, juice, toast, preserves and cereals are always available. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return at some point in the future! The food in the pub is also excellent!

We had a lovely warm welcome and although fully booked they found us a table for a meal. It was delicious food and nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend trying it if you are in the area
