I got a massage with Dacia. It was the best massage I’ve had in my life. She was absolutely AMAZING, professional and very kind. I would definitely recommend the massage services (I got the milk, honey massage). I didn’t speak much spanish but Dacia and I communicated very well. She was the best! Thank you, Dacia, for making my stay even better.

The resort was very good , nice rooms and beautiful place. But the food was abismal for anyone with any other dietary restrictions, options were non-existent but some waiters were nice to accommodate but still poorly food options.

My wife and I have stayed at Indura 3 times in the last couple of years, and each time is an even better experience. It is a beautiful hotel with extreme care put into all the gardens, amenities, etc. That said, the friendliness and hospitality of the staff keep us coming back. We always take advantage of Maina’s spa services, and this stay was no different. We enjoyed several couples treatments under the expert care of Dacia & Nacareth. They are true professionals! Finally, I highly recommend making a trip out to Punta Sal (Jeannette Kawas National Park). The front desk can arrange a boat to pick you up from the beach of the hotel. Well worth it!

The bed was so amazing didn’t want to get up at all. I appreciate the peace calm and tranquility this place brought. I hope to come back again on another visit in the very near feature. Thank you Indura.

I will start by saying “ what a beautiful resort!” It is very secluded ( at least 5-6 miles away from everything)! To me, once you’re on property, you want to stay there, eat , sleep and enjoy all the amenities. Security is wonderful and my family of 5 and I felt very safe there. We enjoyed the restaurants. We didn’t feel the food was overpriced and throughly enjoyed breakfast and the beachside buffet! Now the bad- I was given coupons at check in and given specific instructions as to how I could use them. Unfortunately, the coupon usage was not communicated to other areas of the resort and each time I used my coupon, I had to explain it and ask for my coupon back. Finally, on the second day, one of the workers told them I was correct in what I said about the coupon usage. Also, upon checkout, I asked the front desk if they could get transport to the airport for my family (5 people). She was on the phone and asked me if I had cash to pay and I said yes. She said it would be $850 US dollars. I said absolutely not. I then asked a different employee if we could get a ride to the gate ( remember, the resort is really far away even from the guarded gate). She walked away and then came back and said they don’t provide transportation to the gate, but that transportation to the airport would be $121 for the 5 of us. I then said the other lady told me $850. She said , no, it will be $121. We got our ride to the airport, and I just thought that was very interesting. To sum it up, the resort is absolutely beautiful. I too must say that having come from another resort prior to Indura, management needs to really step it up. The entire resort needs to be on the same page and know what is going on from one department to the next! This resort could easily be a 5/6 star luxury resort if managed properly! I too think it would benefit the resort to make it easier to get transportation to and from the resort! It took us 1.5 hours to get to Indura from the airport and 2 hours to get back to the airport from the resort as traffic is really bad. The distance and traffic are not your issue, but I felt that you were using the fact of being secluded as leverage to give me such a ridiculous initial quote for transport! Not sure we will be back to Honduras, and not sure we will visit Indura again, but what a goldmine you have. Its just a shame, the resort does not live up to its potential!

I reached out to arrange airport transport prior to my visit. It was a relief to see my name on a sign, & I was so grateful I arranged for the hotel to take me 1.5-2 hrs from SAP. The setting of Indura is gorgeous. It is in a national park, & the resort has beautiful indoor/outdoor spaces & ocean views. The boardwalks leading to the rooms meander through beautiful, tropical plantings. It is spectacular. When I checked in, they put a black bracelet on my wrist to signify I’m a Hilton Diamond member. I asked why I needed a bracelet & was told there were discounts, which they didn’t clarify. Most of the time, there was a discount on food, except my last dinner, when the Front Desk person insisted there was no discount for Hilton Diamond members. It would have been helpful to receive a note at check-in stating what the bracelet signified & make sure all staff are aware of what guests are told when they check in. There was a communication barrier with some of the staff who were not able to communicate with me using google translate to Spanish or when I pointed to what I wanted to order on the menu. Unfortunately, they typically brought things that were more expensive than what I ordered. I didn’t understand why I bothered ordering since I was given something else…what if I was allergic? The food was good when I got what I ordered, & I loved the ceviche! The resort didn’t have many guests for a few days, & there wasn’t a breakfast buffet. I ordered Honduran breakfasts, which were great. The breakfast buffet was available on the weekend & was good. The front desk staff was helpful getting me a taxi to escort me to the Botanical Gardens, Tela & back to Indura. The taxi driver, Javier was great, & I arranged for him to take me back to the airport. I had a massage & facial, which was wonderful. I asked about signing for my services & was told I didn’t need to. On the final bill, the total amount seemed correct for the services + tip, but I would prefer to make sure the lovely lady who provided the services got a tip. Since I had plenty of time, I wanted to check out the golf course cafe/bar. I walked over one day, but it was closed. I checked with the front desk before walking over again, but I was told it was open only for drinks. It would be super helpful to include availability when guests use the QR code. I spent some time lounging by the pool. It is a beautiful space, but there are many dislodged tiles. I hope they fix these soon! Overall, it was a nice visit, but there are many areas that could use improvement like communication with guests about the Diamond bracelet & making sure the staff understands a guest’s order. Due to all the confusion, I checked the bills at checkout. Someone else’s bill was put on my tab, which they removed once it was clear the signatures did not match. They also adjusted the bill due to charges that didn’t reflect what I ordered. It was a hassle to deal with these issues, but eventually they were sorted out.

Beautiful property, peaceful, and courteous staff. The spa is a must! The beach is absolutely the best for relaxation, good food and perfect mild waters. Plenty of activities at the beach club. I am looking forward to returning.
