Lovely food, great portions and excellent staff across the board. We found it very noisy at night - almost comically so. Sound-proofing seemed to be inadequate between rooms and also between our room and the corridor. We were awake a lot of the night because of people talking, partying, being intimate, having arguments, and playing their Bluetooth speakers in the rooms next door, upstairs in the rooms above us, or in their neighbouring back yards. The room was big and comfortable, with ‘quirky,’ painfully instagrammable decor and furnishings - eg a non-functioning fan overhead, and a neon ‘bar’ light - but we liked it overall. The spa is lovely, although very compact, and we had a nice time in it. It doesn’t compare to its big sister spa at the Galgorm, but it does have a mirrorball the size of a small car, suspended over the pool. My partner enjoyed her massage very much and, overall, we had a good time at the Rabbit, but I really think it should be priced slightly lower as it’s not the resort experience one pays for at the Galgorm.

We, a family of 6 attended for a late lunch Friday the 19th April at 3pm, we booked the restaurant, the service was excellent, the staff where friendly, efficient and professional, the food was lovely with plenty of options. We are looking forward to coming back. Thank you.

Stayed here last summer on our way back from Holidays. We got a friendly welcome from the reception team, Got an upgrade to a Comfy Bath tub room, which was spacious and I loved the outdoor area. Decor in the room in modern and quirky. Dinner was great, very relaxed and tasty. Spa was small in comparison to their sister hotel Galgorm but had everything you want and plenty of space in the Roman bath to relax and have a cocktail. It is expensive to stay, eat & drink but worth it for a treat every once in a while!

Lovely rooms. Amazing spa area with a bar and food service. Dinner in the restaurant was great. Spa tailored their packages for pregnancy and talked. Location is great for being close to Belfast by car. Every staff member we met made us feel right at home.

Overpriced food and drink. Food was very disappointing to say the least. Onion rings that came with the dried out burger were raw yet chips were over cooked. Easily the worst pint of Guinness I’ve ever tasted. All in all, an expensive but lacklustre experience.

Day staff brilliant helpful altho no music by the pool made us carry our own suitcases up steep stairs to our room on arrival.. after just having our babies me & my friend where really looking forward to this. Evening staff couldn't be bothered asked to play a song in the bar he said no laptop ( we pointed to it) basically had to ask for a drink( no one else in the bar) rang reception 3 times just before this had to go looking for staff.asked somewhere we could have a quiet drink where told (your room) had me smoke out the front of the hotel in pouring rain .woke at 8am to diggers right outside our rooms .spoke to two separate couples at breakfast had a similar experience.shocking really rude ignorant night staff

My daughters had booked a day trip to the spa, a 1hr candle massage with lunch included. While the massage was great, and the pool, jacuzzis etc was great, the lunch service was well below par. Menu had a good range, but knife was dirty - asked for a replacement which came by the time my daughter had most of her food eaten with a fork. Never offered a drink - had to ask for water and was brought 1 glass for the 2 of us . Pointed out that there were 2 people and another glass brought. No jug. Had to ask for a seconds. Again, 1 glass brought? Unfortunately only noticed after leaving that my children had booked lunch with a beverage which was never offered. Made to feel like we had to beg to get water. Staff should be trained in what comes with each package and ensure customers are offered what they have paid for. I would have thought, that the hotel would be trying to make money of drinks. Headache by the time i left and needed 2 cups of tea at home to get rid of it....

Now where do I begin? Myself and my partner stayed here for a wedding last weekend. I have to say the wedding setting, care taken of the bride and groom and the meal was second to none. But... The room... Very underwhelmed are words that I would use. Paying £349 for a hotel room is one thing but paying that sort of money for a "basic" room is taking the mickey. The bathroom: there were 2 silverfish is the shower tray, I didn't use it as I went to the spa instead. Where the tiles met the shower tray and up about two rows of tiles, the grout/sealant was very badly discoloured, in fact black with mould/mildew. This is very easily remedied and if it won't come off, the grouting /silicone needs redone. The carpets in the hallways and on the stairs need some attention, badly marked in a lot of places. I know this is a considerably smaller hotel/spa compared to your sister hotel 'The Galgorm' in which I have stayed and used the spa there several times and prices there are much more fair than in The Rabbit. The spa consisted of one large ish pool and a few steam rooms, saunas and a beach type setting with heat lamps above. The heat lamps did not give off any heat, in fact I'm not sure that they were working at all. Also, the left hand jet seat in the pool area didn't work. If anyone here is looking for the Galgorm experience, then I suggest you go there as to say I was very disappointed is an understatement. Breakfast: this was acceptable. Ordered off a menu and brought to the table. Portion size was small for the ordered breakfast and not what I had expected for the money paid. Yes, there are other continental breakfast items, but the star of the show was a bit disappointing. I actually can't work out what we paid that amount of money for and I most likely will not return.

Stayed recently in the snug, described as cosy scandi-style room, which transpired to be - only one adult able to move round room at a time! The bed wasn't the comfiest and a little on the small side. Wardrobe actually was a pipe with hangers and an ironing board propped underneath against the wall! Definitely the strangest room I've ever stayed in! There was no Internet access on the TV and reception had to come up on 3 occasions to reconnect this! We were booked for the 'full package' which included a treatment each & a 3 course meal. The massage was very good and the food in the restaurant both at dinner & breakfast was excellent. The overall package which included an overnight stay was very expensive at £630 and I certainly wouldn't be rushing to book again. I have stayed in plenty of places which were as nice or nicer, with all the trimmings included, for much less money.
