Novotel Swan Valley Vines Resort Reviews

This hotel is right next to a golf course, and the view from the window is breathtaking. What makes it even more special is seeing dozens of kangaroos freely roaming around the golf course and the vineyard garden. They're so relaxed and not at all afraid of guests, which is quite a sight in itself. The hotel even organizes a paid half-day kangaroo tour on the golf course. The room was spacious and very clean, though I was a bit disappointed it didn't have a bathtub. There was a faint musty smell in the room that even running the air conditioning all night couldn't get rid of, so those sensitive to smells might want to consider other options. The checkout process was quite a letdown, though. It took nearly fifteen minutes because they send someone to inspect the minibar consumption, which was a huge waste of time. I hope they improve this in the future.

It's great place to be. Price is reasonable for the facilities provided. But do note: wifi signal is very bad. So don't expect to do any work involving your data connection. And the TV does not allow web surfing. Nearby gof course can find kangaroos

Although the room that was assigned to us was a bit further away from the amenities, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The whole area is surrounded by natural beauty and native visitors such as birds, ducks & kangaroos. Moreover, the location is close to the main shopping centre, restaurants, etc.

Enjoyed all parts of our stay, except for the pool which was absolutely freezing and most days unswimable. Even on days that were 37deg, which really put a dampener on the holiday for our family.

Unfortunately we requested a pool view room with our family and friends which was ignored even though it was booked months in advance and stated on booking .In fact they put us at opposite end of complex overlooking back carpark.This happened on previous stays as well .Nothing has changed even though we noticed several rooms near pool not used at all.My chicken dish was terrible .Receptionist did not know there was a ice dispenser on site when I enquired.Found out from other residents.Breakfast host was very nice and professional and food was good except for extra tiny pancakes .

Really enjoyed the resort itself however the customer service definitely brought down its level. On arrival we was ignored for about 5 minutes by 3 staff, and then later that day we did the kangaroo safari (which is not cheap for what it is) which I had a few issues with. The manager on duty who I spoke to seemed to shave absolutely no customer care and just brushed off anything I had to say with no effort to resolve the situation at all. Would visit again but not for the service.

Very good experience staying at Novotel Swan Valley, we can see kangaroos all around the place, kids were excited.

I attended a wedding at this beautiful venue, which it had won awards for, and rightly so. The venue is ideal for weddings and conferences with a golf course as well. Close to vineyards and breweries in the area. The Vines, however do not have a vineyard or cellar door but do have a few vines in the garden area where our wedding was. The food on the night was delicious. The selection of wines were well thought out as well. Rooms were large, although outdoor seating isn't private and overlooks each room, tennis courts and even the ceremonial garden. There is a great pool and mini golf to keep the kids entertained. Staff were quite pleasant at the bar and restaurant but exceptional service was displayed on the night. I would seriously recommend a wedding and/or conference here.

The room was great, very clean, and the surrounding environment was amazing, with lots of kangaroos.

Nice, but a bit old hotel. Big room. Excellent breakfast. Kangaroo safaris available for 49AUD (saw kangaroo by our room even without safari). Did not like reception service (problems with getting back bond in cash - took 20 minutes to check the room and get money back)

A good base to explore Caversham Wildlife Park. Simply love everything. Only downside, I think they are understaffed. The rest are just amazing. My kids love the kangaroos so much

Great stay in the Swan Valley. Good food and wine, for stays of 2 nights or more where you choose not to have your room made up, they give you a $10 voucher each day whoch you can use on food and drink at the resort. The resort is very well kept, and the tennis courts are great and the pool looked immaculate. Always feels like you are miles away from the city but only a 35 drive from Perth.

A great resort for the family. Nice environment and there’s mini golf for the kids to play. However, they don’t provide room slipper, and they don’t sell it as well. The toilet floor is too cold on raining days.

The initial room offered was not that nice, the customer service was kind enough to give us a better room.
