Aloft Seoul Myeongdong Reviews

Location was great as it was within 5 mins walk to Myeongdong shopping street and Myeongdong underground shopping. Lotte and shinsegae were opposite the hotel. Bus stop outside the hotel brings you to dongdaemun for night shopping. Plentiful of food options nearby hotel. Convenience store GS25 and 7 11 were just downstairs. Has a laundry room (payable). Hotel provides free coffee and popcorn at the lobby. Room was confortable and spacious enough for us to lay out the luggages.

Wonderful hotel with nice group of staff. Rooms are kept really clean by the housekeepers. Rooms are not overheated during winter. Temperature is comfortable. There is hot water and a ice machine at the corridor. Free coffee and popcorns provided at lobby.

Convenient and centrally located in Myeongdong. Many food choices within walking distance , we love the Paik’s coffee right at the doorstep of the hotel.

Metro is within ten minutes walk from the hotel and several underground shopping alleys are nearby to escape the cold weather. Room was very clean and front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Lots of cafe are around the corner, so grabbing breakfast is not an issue. Myeongdong Street is nearby, but avoid weekends unless you don't mind the crowd.

It’s at such a convenient place and it’s easy to find transportation. You step out of the lobby and you are in Myeongdong ;) It’s clean and so easy to find. Staff are friendly and willing to help. We came in early and our room was ready. Kids are allowed ❤️

Great location being just next to the famous Myeungdong shopping street and centrally located around the major metro lines, making it so easy to explore other parts of seoul by train. Rooms are new and well maintained! My dealbreaker for hotel rooms is always the toilet and here - Aloft shines. Spacious, functioning rain shower and nice, heated (!) toilet seats. Facilities are sp**** (no swimming pool, no rooftop bar) but for the price, it's a great option.

500m walking distance to subway , breakfast is not recommended however they will give discount 😄😄, staffs are all very helpful and nice

From Incheon airport you can take bus 6015 and alight at ibis hotel. The walk to Aloft is around 5 mins walk. Hotel was strategically located in between both Myeongdong and Euljiro 1 ga subway stations, about 10mins walk. Housekeeping is ok, rooms are kept clean and bottled water are replenished daily. Only downside was there are only two lifts in the lift lobby.

Nice stay in the middle of Seoul. High recomemdation for everyone. Location is quite good, eating, shooping, city tour everthing can be reach in couple minutes. New hotel with friendly staff.

If you're looking for a great place to stay in Seoul, I highly recommend the Aloft Hotel. My partner and I recently stayed there, and it was one of the best hotels we've ever been to. The location is perfect - it's super close to Myeongdong and the subway station, so you can quickly get around the city. Plus, there's always something to do in the area. We loved the loft-style room and the modern amenities. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we can't wait to return.

Front desk service is very good, the 2 male staffs could speak and understand English well. One of them even helped us call a retail shop regarding our purchase delivery. Location is good for the Myeondong food street in the evening, 2min walk. As for subway station, it would require a longer walk about 5-7min fast walk to Myeondong station or about 10-15min walk to City Hall station. Namdaemun Market is also nearby, about 10min walk. Daily housekeeping and amenities top up is the lowest score here because they don’t fold the pajamas or they don’t place it at the front of bed. sometimes you’ll find the pajamas beside the pillows near headboard, sometimes on the bedside table. They also did not replenish lotion after the initial bottle was used up within 3days.

Great location and very good house keeping. Room is big. The window can be opened to allow ventilation during winter.

Great location, second time to stay here. Very helpful front desk staff. Love the restaurants and shopping in the nearby areas, very accessible and centrally located.
