Very nice location, the hotel has been recently renovated and is centrally located, the rooms are large and the bathroom comfortable. The hotel is accessed via the smoking area of ​​the bar/restaurant below. The smell of cigarette smoke that rises from the bar along the stairs to all floors also invades the rooms. New and welcoming furnishings; comfortable bathroom with large shower. The room faced a very busy road and was therefore very noisy. Upon arrival we had to settle the payment with the proposal of being able to have a discount of 20 euros if we paid in cash. We feared some scam and opted to pay by card. At the moment we have not yet received the payment receipt. Young and inexperienced staff... Kind enough but not too knowledgeable for a 4-star hotel: when asked for a change of towels, she told us to follow her into the storage room and gave them to us. When asked why they made us pay for the second coffee taken during breakfast (included in the price), they told us curtly that this was expected and that we had to adapt to the rules of other countries (as if it were a country problem and not that country's). single hotel) ... The room was not cleaned well, we found hairs in the sheets and towels. Breakfast served at the bar below included 4 pre-established menus (nothing exceptional) with no possibility of variations or additions. If you are a lover of English tea: forget it. They bring you a tiny cup of water with just one tea bag... Without being able to choose anything else. The bar staff, unlike the hotel staff (who had a minimum of good manners), are decidedly listless, not smiling and not welcoming. Average quality/price ratio but I would NOT go back and I DO NOT recommend it.
