I have to give this hotel a big thumbs up! The hotel's elegant environment creates a warm and comfortable atmosphere from the moment you step into the lobby. The front desk staff is friendly and the check-in process is quick and efficient. You can feel its high quality and professional service. The room is clean, spacious and bright, the bed is super comfortable, the facilities are all available, and every detail is attentive. The catering is also very delicious and rich in variety. I thought this ”Jin Jiang” must be very old, but the facilities inside are still very new. The breakfast and dishes are very rich. The waiter smiled and reminded us to take the order and greeted us with a happy new year. It was super warm. I originally booked three nights, but after checking in I decided to cancel the next two nights because the main business here is hot springs, and the hotel lobby is also a hot spring entrance open to the public, which is a bit confusing. Although there is a hot spring pool in the room, there are regulations on water consumption. If you exceed the prescribed amount of water, you will need to pay extra. And because there is a hot spring pool in the room, other facilities in the room are a bit tight, making the stay uncomfortable. The hotel is not easy to find behind Jinjiang Hotel. The hotel has a three-story underground parking lot, which is mixed with the vehicles that come to the hot springs. There are plenty of parking spaces. The hotel breakfast is in Jinjiang Hotel. The breakfast is rich in variety and tastes good.

Friends who like quietness are blessed. The room was very comfortable, the hotel was clean, spacious and bright, the facilities were convenient, the service was excellent, enthusiastic, efficient, and basically responsive. The room price was affordable, and parking was free. I was very satisfied with my stay! Especially the handsome Greeny at the front desk heard that I brought a child and arranged a family room. She is simply my goddess. Xiao Li and Xiao Yang are very gentle, kind and cute. They are so friendly! Oh!

The first impression is that parking is convenient, and the parking lot is at the door of the hotel. The little sister at the front desk is very young, but the service attitude is very good, and we will send us hot tea and fruit. The manager next to me enthusiastically upgraded the room. Both beds were 1.8 meters wide. You could see the garden corridor outside the window. The garden was very chic. I went out to the kite base in the afternoon to play. When I came back, I found that the waiter had turned on the air-conditioning in advance and was cool. When I checked out, I casually asked my little sister if I could give away tickets to Fanjing Mountain. The little sister said that if you recharge your membership card, you can apply. Their homestay has branches in many places. It is quite smart.

CChuhandecaomeiThe environment of the entire B&B is excellent. It can be seen that the owner is very attentive and the design is decent and tasteful. Auntie's cooking skills are absolutely amazing. The young girls and young men are very attentive and gentle in their service, which matches the style of his family very well. The only regret is that it has been raining this time, which affected the overall mood and experience. This B&B is definitely a highlight of this trip. GGuest UserWe enjoyed our stay at Yunfu. We arrived a little earlier than check in, so we went to wait by the pagoda in the square. literally two minutes walk. At night the square comes to life but we were able to sleep peacefully. The owners (I presume) were really welcoming and helped us buy tickets for the mountain. they drop and collected us from the bottom of the mountain. nice touch that we appreciated. The room is nicely decorated and has a worth about it. its clean and has AC. The beds are comfy. pillows ok. There is a restaurant just outside the hotel door to the right. we went to the one to the right but across the small road. awesome fish and bamboo. Its a nice town for like 2-3 days. We arranged with the taxi driver who drove us from train station to hotel to pick us up when we went back. very affordable prices. P.S: if you are gonna go during a holiday or summer/winter holidays BOOK YOUR TICKES IN ADVANCE. or call the hotel to help you.And go in the morning. You will understand why when you are half way up. the hotel was were really helpfully a week before we even arrived. We would stay again.

MMark123456Booked 3 nights in the ”Elegant Residence City-View Double Bed Room” at the Fanbo Yashe Hotel. Overall, it was a good experience and a comfortable stay. The front desk was quite helpful, especially the wonderful receptionist Xiaoya, who assisted me with numerous things with enthusiasm, such as answering any questions, showcasing the various free amenities in the lobby, giving a quick demonstration of how to use the shared laundry area, and offered additional water or other services as needed. The bed and other furniture were comfortable and clean. The shower and bathroom area were fairly good as well. The atmosphere and decor of the room were probably the best thing. Most hotels have a stereotypical and replicated hotel room, but this hotel's rooms give you something more enjoyable since it is a different style from the norm. Special note on cleanliness: I did want to give this a 4.5, but kept it rounded-up to a 5 since it was minor enough. The room did have some leftover sunflower seed shells in a few corners or where a piece of furniture meets the floor, and a little bit of dirt stuck where the floor layers overlap in the middle of the room. However, it was not that big of a deal. This is maybe a reminder for the hotel to take a second look where dirt or trash may get stuck when simply sweeping or mopping quickly. Special note on the bathroom mirror lighting: The lighting by the bathroom sink and mirror could use some more direct lighting, since the position of the current lighting is not too strong and caused shadows on the face. This is not a big issue, but it could prove inconvenient to others, such as women putting on make up or trying to carefully trim a beard. The top-down lighting can cause shadows and unclear views under the eyes, nose, lips, and neck. Tips for guests: Name of the Hotel: While this website says Fanbo Yashe, you may actually see it named Van Gogh's Garden in person. Don't be confused; it is the same place. ”Fanbo” is related to the Chinese name for Van Gogh, ”Fan Gao”. Laundry: Yes, is it available, but there is only one washer and dryer available (hopefully these are increased to two or three!). Laundry detergent is provided. It can be a little troublesome trying to manage around other guests, so it is likely best to do it during the day when people are busy. There is also some nearby clotheslines one can use or just hang in your room if there is not too much. Foreigner Friendliness: Very good. They'll use Wechat to translate and communicate with you if necessary or find some other methods. In short, foreigners should have an easy time here. If other receptionists are friendly like Xiaoya, then there is nothing to worry about. Attraction Services: The hotel seems to offer some ticket and transportation services for nearby attractions (or at least advertises third-party services), but I did not use them and cannot attest to them. Location: It is right next to the bus station in Tongren (and a few streets away from the train station). Once the bus drops you off in the lot, you will need to exit the lot and head slightly east towards the nearby main street, then make your way south. You should encounter the hotel next to where the bus tickets are sold.

Every front desk employee goes out of her-his way to help facilitate with tea drinking, laundry services, taxi calls, etc. Lobby is amazing spot with a tea shop area, coffeehouse segment, library/movie theater and dining area. Rooms are wonderfully well appointed, with extra large bathroom and fantastically large waterfall shower. Bed is super comfy. I recommend the third floor. Great outdoor patio for drying clothing and shoes. Ideal location for runners/hikers/cyclists. Directly across street is a river with nice boardwalk. Folks swim here, as well. Just about two kilometers out is perhaps the most amazing paved road running course in the world. Follow it way, way out as it stretches into the mountains and farmland areas. Incredible. Hotel is about 20-22km from main entrance to Fanjingshan. However, no big deal taking a taxi there. It’s more than worth it to experience hotel here, surroundings in town and beyond, and also visit park. I recommend at least 3 nights here. Many restaurants and shops are all within easy walking distance. Most difficult part is leaving this place…Highly recommended!

JJamesHarrisIn terms of the ‘hard product’ this may be the best value hotel I’ve ever stayed in, I was genuinely shocked at how wonderful it was and for such a low price. The room and bathroom were flawless and spotlessly clean, to the same standard as any international brand 5 star hotel and far exceeding any expectations I had. The outdoor swimming pool was a very welcome relief from the summer heat and humidity. Despite this, I did feel the service wasn’t to the same standard as the hotel. I had a negative experience when checking in, and with a phone call from the hotel in the following days, that, unfortunately, left a very sour taste in my mouth. I was also surprised that there was no one on the service desk of the pool and spa area to show us to the changing rooms or offer us any towels for swimming. This being said, I would stay here again in an instant and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tongren.

MManliyanFirst, let me summarize which hotel has the most comfortable bedding and the quietest air conditioning among the 12 hotels I stayed in during my self-driving tour to Yunnan and Guizhou during the Spring Festival this year. Facilities: I didn’t expect that the Wyndham in Tongren would surprise me as soon as I entered the door. There was no need to insert a card, the lights were on, the air conditioner was adjusted to the most suitable temperature, and it was almost silent. I guess it used a smart fresh air system. The room is elegantly decorated and the bathroom is super big, visually larger than the one in the Shangri-La Hotel in Kowloon, Hong Kong where I stayed before. One photo cannot capture the whole thing. Equipped with a fully intelligent toilet. Double bathtub. Double wash basins. Simmons mattress is of excellent quality, I want to buy the same model. Hygiene: Clean, the only drawback is that there are old watermarks on the countertops of the two tables, but this is not a problem of cleaning but a natural mark left on the marble countertops after a long time of use. It is recommended that the hotel can replace them with new ones, then it will be perfect. Service: There are many varieties of breakfast. The steamed meat with millet is delicious. There is also braised pork for breakfast, and several fried meat dishes. It is quite friendly to meat lovers. The photo is just a small portion as I ate relatively little. In general, this hotel in Tongren is very cost-effective. It is worth staying one night in Tongren when passing through Guizhou!

SSteven DowsonWe arrived via two buses and a taxi, next time we'll drive and there is lots of parking available at the front of the hotel. Receptionists and staff all very friendly and efficient. Room was very clean, great shower, squat toilet. Hotel is a short walk from West Gate, you can follow the road or cut through the trees. We ate at the hotel first evening upon arrival and the food was good home cooking, we also had the noodle breakfast which was basic but good. We were lucky to have great weather on Fanjingshan but it's a stiff hike from West Gate and our legs were sore the next day. After our day on the mountain we stopped at a restaurant close to the gate, and returned here on our second night because the food was fresh, tasty, good value, and they have an excellent view of the mountain opposite (see photos). On our second day we took a taxi down the mountain to the nearest town (taxis use the charging points opposite the hotel) but we had trouble getting back and were fortunate to hitch a lift. The West Gate is preferable to East Gate but it's better to have a car.

I booked a budget room with non adjustable temperature but they gave me a fan. Booked for a single bed no window but got a double with window so that was nice. It seems to be run by a nice family. bit of a language barrier but you can communicate over translate - hotels ask for more details than hostels so if you don't speak chinese you should prepare your name, nationality, phone number, previous city etc. with chinese labels beforehand to make the process smoother Location Walking distance from train station. You can walk into the central town but there is a nearby bus stop too (although all the buses I went on were crammed). Also walking distance to the tourist centre bus stop to other cities. Has shops below. I think I might have struggled a bit to find it if they hadn't seen me. quite a nice view of the surrounding buildings and their lights A bit grubby around the edges e.g. the toilet hadn't been cleaned and it was very close to the shower, but it is so cheap you can't really complain More hostel vibes than hotel
