Tychy Hotels with Airport pickup service

I booked this hotel mainly for convenience to get to Auschwitz for a 9.30am tour, but I also wanted to treat myself to the superior double room & the spa the evening before. Firstly, there were 2 single beds rather than a double (see photo) and they said sometimes in Poland a ”double” refers to 2 singles. It's misleading and I find it odd they're not more clear, especially as they must've had similar complaints about this before, so beware! Secondly, I went down to the spa to spend time in the sauna and jacuzzi but the area was drafty because the door to a strange patio area was open. I think this is where the outdoor pool normally is but there was nothing there but a couple of chairs and an umbrella, so this was another let down. Thirdly, and the worst thing of all, was the breakfast. Awful all round, I've only ever had as bad a breakfast once before and that was in a Travelodge. The coffee was bland, the choice of food was limited, a lot of the spread was cheaply presented and nothing like the photos, so beware. Worst of all was the fruit which was rancid, literally. See my photo, it's quite unbelievable. Also, rather disappointingly, I was looking forward to having a pint in the cellar bar but I discovered it was only open certain evenings, I was gutted, nothing seemed to be going right here. The only reason I gave this 2 star rather than 1 was because of the dinner. I had purchased it as part of a package with the room and had it in a restaurant attached to the hotel. After reading the menu for a while the waitress told me I needed another menu for the package deal so of course I was suspicious. I've taken a photo of this menu as you should be aware the choice is limited. I ordered the zur, dumplings & tiramisu. For all I know it was all defrosted but to be fair it tasted really good, so this was a saving grace. Anyway, please beware of my points, its not a great hotel but it is just a 5-10 minute taxi ride to Auschwitz (1) so it is convenient, though there will be closer smaller hotels or B&B's that are a closer walking distance I'm sure. I have been totally transparent with this review and often I wish hotels could do the same, please don't be surprised if your stay is not as good as you expected.

In Hilton you get what you pay - you never get personality, but you get a generic, positive hotel experience. Local main square is by the corner. Has some basic services. Train/bus station is not within nice walking distance. There is one Auschwitz-sized reason for that. Public transport in general is better than in most Polish towns.

Beautiful location of the hotel, very convenient access from the motorway. Close to the centre of Katowice and legendary Spodek. Very comfortable beds, nice room with interesting view. In the morning, delicious, varied food awaits guests at breakfast. You can use the swimming pool and jacuzzi. I am delighted with my stay at the hotel.

O hotel tem um bom serviço de recepção, no entanto o inglês não é suficiente para nos ajudar a conhecer a cidade e por exemplo a encontrar um restaurante perto. Os quartos são muito bons mas em termos de silêncio deixam muito a desejar para um hotel de 4 estrelas, passei uma noite sem dormir porque no piso onde fiquei estavam alijadas muitas pessoas que passaram a noite a fazer barulho tanto no corredor como dentro dos quartos. Reclamámos para a recepção mas não foi suficiente. O restaurante do hotel é bom, mas serviram um prato frio ao meu marido e depois demoraram imenso a trazer outro prato.

This hotel is located in the historical center of Katowice. The TV without any Italian channel, there is no boiler or frigobar. The comfortable bed but the coats are not, in my opinion, a good thing because it is like not having them .. The room is not ordered daily , if necessary , the reception must be required . Breakfast is served in a room next to the reception, a buffet with some sweet or salad pity, lack of choice and quality. The price of breakfast is not a nice price ( EUR 6 ) but it would be better to pay a little more and have more choice for buffet and quality products . The hotel is also available in the reception and is available for drinks including water. The person who is eager to breakfast is not careful and shocked (he does not even answer good morning despite having said it every morning when I made breakfast). In conclusion, it is a good solution for those who are looking for a structure in the center of Katowice with a good price quality ratio, but if I should return to price equality I would probably try another structure. Here right very much liked the hotel!!! Excellent service, chic cleanest room with a large bedroom and very large bathroom with perfect clean bathroom, towels, coats! Bedding is perfect! There is a teapot, coffee and tea in the cost of the room, and here the full bar is certainly for the extra charge... a chic view from the window! And in general, who wants to be comfortable, beautiful and elegant to rest for the minimum price(price for the room is pleasant) - I highly recommend this hotel Park Hot Diamond in Katowice! Don't regret and will be satisfied!!! Breakfast unfortunately didn't manage to try because there was a very early flight... Although very wanted! Restaurant in the hotel on the top floor and from there even better view opens (I just went there to see their restaurateur)..

I stayed at this hotel last month and found it to be very comfortable and had all of the amenities one needs while on a business trip. The rooms were fairly spacious and up to date and there was a restaurant and bar to enjoy on premise. Front desk was helpful and friendly. We dined at the restaurant at top of the hotel and the food was very good and waiter was excellent.
