Amazing
CCharisseDThe place is clean and warm. Bed’s really comfortable. There are curtains for privacy and the lockers are huge which I really like a lot. Hot water works well in the shower. The toilets could be a little quite small though but manageable. And there’s free use of the washing machine as well.
They have a kitchen where you can drink coffee/tea for free. And the host brings bread for breakfast :)
Since there’s also a sofa in the kitchen, i was very happy that i was able to meet fellow travelers to hangout with.
Location of the hostel is really good. It’s on the 6th floor of the same building of KFC on Sambuu st. It’s near a lot of restaurants, convenience stores, and the main touristy places.
The host Sonny was really kind, warm, helpful, and friendly. He lent me his jacket when i went for a day tour to Terelj National Park because it was cold that day and I don’t have enough thick jackets.
His brother Bayaraa was also very welcoming when he picked me up at the airport at almost midnight.
Thank you again for the hospitality and will definitely stay here again when I come back in Mongolia. :)
GGuest UserI arrived late at night but this was no problem for the boss lady. She helped me check in very quickly and showed me my bed.
The capsule bed is very comfortable, spacious and very clean. The capsule has LED lights, which you can change the colors from.
The breakfast is made with love and is very delicious!
The shower is very good with comfortable showerheads, including a rain showerhead. They also have a sauna in the bathroom, but I did not use it.
Special thank you to the two nieces of the boss lady. They work very hard to keep everything clean. Every window is spotless. It is so clean that I could eat my food from the floor (that didn’t happen luckily).
I hope to visit Ulaanbaatar again soon and I will not sleep anywhere else, but here.

I stayed here for two weeks.

AAnonymous UserThis hotel is located in an office building, occupying several floors. There's a convenience store and a coffee shop on the ground floor.
Check-in was brilliant! The first at reception spoke some English and checked me in at 7.30 in the morning without a problem. My room was spacious, the bed was large, although on the hard side. At this point the good things about the hotel come to an end.
Unfortunately, all the rest is quite bad. The lighting system is broken and you can't turn off the light above the bed unless you take out the key card, but then power outlets go off, so you can't sleep and charge your phone at the same time. Furniture knobs are falling apart, so does the knob on the shower. WiFi was down 2 times during my stay, including a very frustrating 12+ hour outage. Housekeeping doesn't seem to know what a Do Not Disturb sign means, entering the room regardless. Toiletries are the cheapest possible, not corresponding to the hotel name (e.g. Premium), lol.
All in all, price/quality ratio was underwhelming. I will not stay here again.
DDrei TripLovely and great first impression of hotel. Location was great and the room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast could’ve been better with more selection. It was my first time in Mongolia and I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.
GGuest UserThis hotel is completely Japanese style, clean, but small in size and convenient in location. Ulaanbaatar is more blocked. After coming out of the train station, go forward and turn right at the first intersection. It takes about 10 minutes to walk. The front desk service of the hotel is warm, speaks Mongolian, English and Japanese, there is a front desk lady who will speak a little Chinese, and the cleaning aunt is also very serious. My room is facing the side of the road. When the weather is good, you can see the mountain view in the distance. Recommend this hotel!
DDENNIS KOK KEE NGI stayed there over 7 nights. On the first day I arrived at 12 noon and the check-in time was 2.00 pm. After a 13 hour flight and car ride from the airport to the hotel I just wanted to get into the room and have a hot shower. Usually in all other cities and hotels in Asia, they would have allowed me to check in earlier if they had a room. In this case, they had a room but wanted to charge me the rate of 30% for that two hour stay. I paid for it as I was in no mood to argue over it and as my Mongolian business partners were with me and I did not want to cause a scene.
The hotel toilet had a smell from the drainage pipe and they could not clear the smell even after I had complained. The service staff was generally pleasant although some of the restaurant staff need some further training. At the Chinese restaurant when I asked one of the waiter to change to a private room after being seated at the normal dining hall which was noisy, the waiter replied that he was busy. And asked me to go to the reception. Perhaps they are still a bit rough at the edges.
Also, the 24 hour room service does not exist as is promoted in their brochure in the room. I had to go to the front desk and then I was directed to go to the coffee house to make my order. I asked why nobody picked up the 24 hour room service line and the front desk asked me what number I dialed. I replied 3222 as was in the brochure in the room and he told me it was 3150. I told him its 3222 as per the room brochure but he insisted it was 3150. I went back to my room to double check after placing the order at the coffee house and it was 3222 in the brochure. So either they have a wrong print or they have not updated with a new number.
I was seated in the cafe many times and I noticed a gentleman who would go up to sign for a coffee at the cafe. I assumed he must be a senior staff of the hotel. If he was indeed a senior staff I thought he would be friendly enough to smile to the guests at the cafe and assume some if not all the guests are also guests of the hotel.
GGuest UserWe went to attend an exhibition, and the exhibition hall was just downstairs. It took 5 minutes to walk there, which was very convenient.
The apartment is large and fully equipped. You can do laundry and cook your own meals.
The manager Aby was very nice and helped us a lot.
The people at the front desk are also very friendly and can all speak English, and some can speak Chinese and English.
AAnonymous UserIn general, it is very average, and the facilities are relatively old. The only bright spot of the hotel is that as a hotel of this price in Mongolia, when almost no one in Ulaanbaatar can speak English, the uncle at the hotel front desk can communicate fluently in English (x
