Hotel Tierra del Fuego

Hotel is fairly central in Ushuaia. Breakfast is fine and even extensive: fresh fruit, savory dishes. The rooms at the back have a view of the Beagle Canal, the front is boring. Staff not always customer friendly

We were in Ushuaia ago at the beginning of July and we stayed for 5 days more or less, well the rooms and bathrooms are clean the hotel has Good heating, but the breakfast leaves a lot to be desired I have never stayed in a hotel that claims to be 4 stars and not even scrambled eggs for breakfast, there are no fruits like papaya and melon for example, bread only in shape and medialunas, if you intend to stay in this hotel do not think that you will eat well to go out for walks because the breakfast is terrible !

We stayed 6 nights from Thursday 03/10/22 to Tuesday 03/15/22 inclusive, I was very sure that it was a very good hotel because I had read all the comments on the trip, but it really exceeded my expectations. One of the comments recommended that I ask for room 309 when making the reservation, so I did and without problems they gave it to me. From that moment the attention of all the hotel staff was wonderful. I confirmed it upon arrival at the reception, then with the cleaning staff and the girls in charge of breakfast. Returning to the super spacious room, carpeted, with 1 window to the Bay and another side window with a view of the Martial Glacier, in short, it couldn't be better. Excellent daily cleaning, with replacement of towels and all implements. Breakfast deserves a separate paragraph, all kinds of bills, cookies, fruits, sandwiches and the list goes on. I must confess that I took apples, pears, bananas and hard-boiled eggs to eat during the excursions. I have stayed in various hotels throughout my life, but I think I have never felt more comfortable and had as much fun as in this one. It may be that the environment has also contributed, Ushuaia is wonderful in every way, starting with its people.

A bit dated - but very clean hotel - in a good location in Ushuaia. I stayed here for one night - service in all areas was very good and helpful. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. Breakfast was included - WiFi is offered. For me absolutely o.k. and recommended.

It is a hotel that has everything you need to spend a very good stay. The cleanliness, the facilities, the personal attention, the heating, the comfort of the beds and the pressure of the hot water, all excellent. It is in the center, you can walk everywhere. I would only criticize the breakfast, it is a bit weak in variety and quality. It is not a 4 star, I would give it just 3. For those who are not looking for luxury it is optimal. I recommend booking directly with the hotel. I booked with booking and paid much more. I would definitely go back.
