This is a lovely hotel in the heart of Valletta so as soon as you walk out of the door you are right amongst, well, everything: history, restaurants, night life it is all there. Our room was lovely, very well presented and equipped with all you could want including in our case a sauna which I became a little bit addicted to. So far so five star boutique hotel. The real thing that set this hotel apart were the staff, they were unfailingly polite, helpful and very competent a great mix that is much harder to pull off than you might imagine. All were very approachable and keen to help, not just the front of house team but the housekeepers as well. This was tested as on our last night my wife fell ill and we had to stay for one more day. The team were great, we stayed in the same room and were charged the same nightly rate as our original booking (made seven months before). I thoroughly recommend this hotel and its very well chosen staff to those wishing to visit the bustling capital of Malta.

Unfair position with a good quality/price ratio. I liked the availability of staff who, among other things, offered us a free upgrade of the room because of a disguise in that which was originally assigned to us (without request). Free baggage storage service on the day of departure to be free even after check-out. Check-in in advance so that you can bring our newly arrived items to the room. The only thing I have not appreciated is the organization of breakfast, the concept itself is beautiful, typical Maltese breakfast served on the roof. Unfortunately, in the absence of closures, it depends too much on the weather, because the first two days of our stay, the weather was shady and windy, so we did not enjoy the food or the view (we had fast food, dark or cold things). Secondly, the space available is not, in my view, adequate to manage a buffet. I would suggest that we remove the buffet and ask guests to complete a list of what they want for the next day each evening, indicating the indicative time of arrival at breakfast in such a way that everything is ready and warm at their table. I have seen this way successfully applied in a BestWestern 4* in Italy.

If the system address is incorrectly located, we will navigate to the 12th. Actually, we will go down another 150 meters to reach the 76th, which is next to the church. Need the agent to send us a 4-digit reservation code, which is the door code, this must be confirmed with Ctrip in advance. The back of the hotel is a bustling pedestrian street. Going right and turning is a few passages that lead to the sea. A 50-meter left turn is a big supermarket.

I stayed 3 nights at the Gomerino. The hotel staff is absolutely fabulous. They help you in all you need instantly. The staff is 5 star, very kind professionals. The view from the roof top terrace is exceptional, the best view in Valletta. The terrace is incredible. Unfortunately the room is not reaching my expectations. It’s just very noisy. Every single foot step from above can be heard in your room. So at night and in the morning I felt very disturbed and uncomfortable because of this. I had to call reception several times to ask the above guest to keep it quiet at night. The room is very dark and just not for my taste. The bed was ok I asked a double bed but they supplied my with 2 single mattresses put together. Thank you for the staff you were fabulous.

Located 100 metres from St Johns co-Catherdral and so just steps away from the very heart of everything Valletta has to offer (and there is so much!), this is one of the every best small hotels I have stayed at. We had 3 rooms for a family trip and all were impeccably clean and tidy with super comfy beds (although 2 did not have windows on the side of the room, they had enormous windows in the ceiling so never suffered for natural light). We were on a B&B tariff and breakfast was excellent - a good choice and healthy portions to set you up for the day. The service was fabulous: whilst everyone really couldn't do enough for us, a special mention for Sunny who was polite and efficient well beyond what was necessary. We'll be back!

Charming Hotel, good location in a quiet part of Valletta. Service was good, easy to get hold of the Staff through email. Easy check-in, allthough it was self-check-in it was well explained step-by-step in a welcoming email. The room was large, ok AC, nice products in the rather dark bathroom, good bed, too hard pillows for our taste but ok, shabby balcony and the cleaning was not the best we’ve seen. Housekeeping was not very eager to come, so we had a couple of days without fresh towels, cleaning or toilet paper… the latter a bit importent to have, I think! Breakfast was very simple: Toast, rolls, ham, cheese, jam and croissants. Tea and coffee, ester and orangejuice. Thats it. Ok, but we baught breakfast somewhere else one of the days - we did not think it was worth getting up early for (ended 0930). All in all a ok place to stay, but at the price I had a bit higher expectations - at least about cleaning.

A little gem in the heart of Valletta, perfectly positioned for sightseeing and relaxing. Tony and his team cannot do enough for you. Smiles from all the team whatever their role. Beds are extremely comfortable and water replenished every day and an early evening knock asking if anything is needed. Staff are knowledgeable about the local area, events and restaurants. They are happy to make bookings on your behalf. Drinks on arrival and an escorted tour of the hotel. The underground spa which is booked for your private use is wonderful as is the rooftop pool and relaxing area. A wonderful 4 night stay. Will definitely recommend 😊
