Just a few minutes’ walk from the Piazzale Roma bus station, this beautiful gem of a B&B is owned and run by the delightful Caterina. Despite a late arrival due to a cancelled flight, my daughter and I found Caterina waiting for us. She took us up to the first-floor Junior Suite, a wonderful surprise upgrade! This large, high-ceilinged, L-shaped double/twin room is furnished in traditional Venetian style, has comfortable seating, a breakfast table, a large chandelier and many table lamps which add to the cosy ambience. Oh, and it also has a baby grand piano, which my daughter made good use of! The clean, contemporary ensuite shower room had plenty of towels and some toiletries. The enormous antique wardrobe has ample storage for clothing, plus a small safe, an iron and ironing board. Most surprising was just how quiet the room was, considering the B&B is situated at the end of a little street just 60m from a busy canal but we heard no noise other than birdsong - and I am a very light sleeper. Breakfast was served in our room: a generous selection of breads and pastries, cereals, yogurt, eggs, juice and hot beverages. Far too many calories but all delicious - and an essential start to a day exploring Venice. Ca’ della Corte is perfect for anyone wishing to stay in an authentic, traditional Venetian palazzo and will be my first choice B&B for future visits. Grazie mille Caterina e il tuo personale!

Lovely B&B - Venetian style decor, cozy courtyard & delicious breakfast. This hidden gem in the heart of the city will make your stay in Venice a marvelous experience. Run by a traditional Venetian family who has been owning the historical building for generations. Love is in every detail : inside and outside each bedroom. The bathroom was spacious and cleanliness impeccable.

I had a booking for this hotel and due to illness I had to cancel the booking. The owner was so considerate and understanding. This sort of kindness is very special. I chose this hotel as it was very near Piazzale Roma where the airport bus arrives in Venice.

A small hotel just a 10-minute walk from Plaza De Roma, where the Marco Polo airport shuttle bus will drop you off. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Campo Santa Margherita, which itself is vibrant, busy 'square' full of bars, restaurants and shops. The hotel has a fantastic family, homely atmosphere, and Katerina (the manager), and the staff genuinely go out of their way to give any assistance or help needed. A generous breakfast is provided, which can be served on the roof terrace, or in one's room, which itself has coffee making facilities, and biscuits and a fridge too. A truly great experience staying at this location and will certainly stay again on our next visit.

Very friendly and helpful welcome from Caterina, to her gorgeous hotel in classical Venetian building. The map she provided, and recommendations for restaurants and gelateria were so helpful, and we enjoyed great experiences slightly off the tourist trail. The room was clean and beautiful, the beds a little narrow, but perfectly comfortable, and everything functioned as expected. The location is really quiet and convenient for the bus station, and walking around Venice, and the number 2 vaporetto, which gave us a fabulous tour of the Grand Canal. Thank you very much.

Had an amazing stay at this wonderful small hotel in June. On arrival a bit disappointed at seeing big wall with wooden door and bell at the side. When we were warmly greeted by Katerina had a surprise - Secret garden moment.!Beautiful shaded courtyard with small tables and garden. By a stroke of luck we were upgraded to junior suite on the first floor. It was magnificent, full of antiques and objets d'art-even has a grand piano. The furnishings were elegant and the room contained all you need for a comfortable stay. The bed was very comfy. The room was very quiet. Everything was of the best quality - towels, toiletries etc. We had a sumptuous breakfast served in our room each morning. Could have happily stayed in room more but sightseeing had to be done. Excellent location was great -quiet area ,not too far from bus and train station and easy walk to very busy centre. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Katerina was extremely friendly and helpful and always seemed to be at hand if and when needed. We will definitely be back possibly with friends in low season when we can visit all the sites we missed this time. Hopefully be staying longer!

A clean, spacy and nice room located in a old classic Venetian house. Every room is different. 5-10 min walk from the bus terminal and railway station, so no need to rag your suitcase around for long. 15 mins from Academia Bridge and lots of small restaurants everywhere. If you want to stay out of the more crowded tourist parts of the city, this is very good chioce, but you don't need to walk far if you prefer typical tourist shops.

The location is perfect. Barely a five minute walk from P Roma and less than half an hour from the Rialto Bridge, yet on such a peaceful, pretty street. The building is quaint in the good, charming way. You walk through a lovely little patio where their cute cats can usually be found lounging around, and there's a table just outside the office door with hand sanitiser and sweets. We were in a room on the ground floor, surprisingly spacious and beautifully decorated. Our sheets, towels and bins were changed every day, and when whoever did this noticed we had unknowingly brought back a corked wine bottle, they left a corkscrew for us on the table. Last but not least, the family. We spent so little time with them, and yet they left such an impression, especially Caterina. From the beginning they were amazing and accommodating; I asked for three single beds for our room and they obliged, no problem. What really took the cake (or perhaps gave the pie) was when they offered us free breakfast on my mother's 70th! And what a breakfast! Light and simple, just what we needed for the day ahead. And the room we had it in, with the chandelier and pink light coming through the window and down the stairs, gorgeous! And as if that wasn't enough, Caterina came up with a warm and fresh frutti di bosco pie, complete with seven candles! Venice was a sundae, and they were the cherry on top. If I ever get the chance to go there again, I'm not staying anywhere else!

Delightful family-run guesthouse, the friendly welcome really made the stay special. Great location if you like to be close to the busiest areas but not too close (we really appreciated the quiet location). Definitely recommended :-)
