Songtsam Tacheng Lodge

The Songtsan in Tacheng is small but very friendly. Even if my child is noisy, the service staff is very accommodating. They repeatedly told me that children should be active, which made me very relaxed. I didn’t bother with afternoon tea and breakfast because of the low occupancy rate in the off-season. On the contrary It's very rich, the room radiator is fully charged, Qibie Village is very easy to visit, and several local Tibetan service staff are very nice, just the kind of people who will keep wanting to go home when you stay at home😜

We stayed at Tacheng Songtsan for 3 nights in November. The hotel enthusiastically upgraded the room type for free, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful scenery in the picture every morning, feel the morning fog, sunshine, and the singing of birds and roosters. The hotel staff are very enthusiastic, greeting you with smiles, and patiently answering questions. It is a paradise without too much commercial concentration. I think I will return again!

Songtsam is as good as ever, the service is on call, the breakfast and afternoon tea are delicious, the altitude of Tacheng is less than 2000, it is very comfortable, the hotel is small and sophisticated overall, it feels a bit like returning to Jiangnan.

Not friendly to family guests. There is an extra charge for children with or without extra beds, and the charges are on the high side. The water heater is electric. After washing 2 people, the third person only has cold water. It takes a long time to get hot water again. There is a shower in the bathroom. The door was half open, and after taking a shower, the entire bathroom was filled with water. There are no interesting attractions around, and the road to the hotel is not very easy to drive. This is the most disappointing hotel of this trip! Service and value are not equal!

You can hear it clearly when walking upstairs and downstairs. Parents and children come to play more. Imagine the children upstairs running there at night...it just collapses... Meals: Dinner is 200/person, but there are a lot of vegetarian dishes, and the menu is temporarily changed without notice. I understand that the ingredients are limited, but the service is obviously not up to date... It is said that many foods are grown locally or by ourselves, but even if they are organic. It's not worth it... Afternoon tea is free, but there are few choices, The mineral water in the room costs 2000+ per night on holidays, but you have to pay for it yourself... The price/performance ratio is not high, it is better to live in a B&B when you come to Tacheng.

Songtsam is a comfortable and relaxing idyllic version. The cheesecake in the afternoon tea is delicious, and the rice wine in the good night is also very warm. There is also a wooden barrel for soaking your feet. I like it very much.

There are not many rooms in the hotel, the environment is quiet, and the food in the restaurant tastes very good👍! The hotel is not far from the Yunnan Golden Monkey National Park, so it is convenient to go to the park early in the morning.
