The whole stay was great, I needed somewhere to stay while work was being carried out on my house. The rooms are spacious and have bathtubs, there was a big desk for me to work at and the internet connection was perfect, I had multiple video conferences and it never dropped once. Housekeeping were kind enough to check if I needed anything everyday, and reception staff were super friendly.
Right next to a massive national trust property had some beautiful autumn walks
However there is absolutely no phone signal (Vodafone)obviously nothing to do with the hotel it’s just extra info about the area!

Great location as it’s so close to the park with lots of potential to be great hotel. However, the decor is awful, food and service terrible and there’s definitely a lack of general cleanliness. In need of a refurb and new staff.

The hotel staff was so polite and helpful, the hotel room was spotless, the room was very spacious and perfect temperature. The bed was amazingly comfortable! It catered for all of our needs especially with a fan because myself has troubles sleeping without one.
The hotel was in the perfect location and easy to access on route to next location.
The Wi-Fi was a little disappointing with myself needing to check work emails and service but nothing that caused to much hassle on our stay at the hotel
Will definitely be booking the hotel again

We enjoy are stay so much we would have booked a second night But my husband had work on .

I have been here before - in the summer.
It is well placed for Clumber Park walks and cycling. It has a very good Pool.
The staff are very friendly.
BUT this time my room was further away from Reception and the corridor carpets were VERY grubby and damp. The bedroom looked very tired and the radiator did not work - even after reporting it.
