Linggan Anmo Hotel

First off, I have to praise the shower! The water temperature was stable, the pressure was strong, and there was a rainfall showerhead. After a chilly first day exploring Gulangyu Island, coming back to a hot shower was incredibly stress-relieving! Secondly, the hotel concierge was quick to add me on WeChat shortly after booking. They provided clear instructions for everything, from reserving island ferry tickets to luggage storage and directions to the hotel – super organized! I followed the hotel's directions to get there. While it might not have been the shortest route, it was definitely the one with the fewest hills and stairs, saving a lot of effort! The hotel really put thought into it. I arrived a bit early and the room wasn't ready yet, so the hotel provided a map. The staff member marked all the must-see and must-try spots on it. The hotel is quite close to Longtou Road. By the time I finished a quick meal, the room was ready and my luggage had already been delivered. The room I booked was on the first floor, at the back of the main building, which was exactly the orientation and environment I wanted – incredibly quiet! The room had a patio, and the curtains for the patio could be remotely controlled. The Xiaomi TV was perfect for our family's viewing preferences and for watching movies on streaming apps. The bed was so comfortable! On the first day, after lunch, I came back for a rest and didn't want to get up and go out again. The room's heating was very effective, not cold at all~ There are two cards in the room, but only the one with the wood grain design is the key card! Be careful not to take the power card, as it won't open the door~ Some restaurants on the island have partnerships with the hotel, offering complimentary desserts/drinks or discounts. You can ask the front desk about this. The handwritten check-in card alone showed the hotel's attentiveness. Overall, this was a very satisfying stay! It was clean, quiet, and the semi-buffet set breakfast even included local specialties like oyster vermicelli and Rou Yan (meat dumplings). The hotel itself is very photogenic! There are beautiful firecracker vines above the entrance, and many tourists were taking photos and checking in there. I missed the afternoon tea because I didn't notice the time, so I hope the hotel can provide a reminder in the future~ I really liked it here and will definitely stay again next time!

The location is excellent, close to Sanqiutian Pier and not far from any of the attractions. The hotel's small courtyard is very cozy, perfect for enjoying a quiet afternoon tea. The room is very clean and inviting. The staff at the front desk, both the ladies and gentlemen, were very kind and provided attentive service. They added me on WeChat beforehand to sort out all the details. It truly feels like a peaceful haven amidst the hustle and bustle. I'd love to come back and stay for a few days if I get the chance.

We were two adults and one child, and stayed in a twin room with one large and one small bed. After getting off the boat, we could drop off our luggage at the designated point, and it would be delivered to the hotel. After check-out, we could also give our luggage to the front desk to be transported back to Sanqiutian Pier. The hotel's guide videos and photos helped us find the location quickly. Facilities: It's a hotel/B&B converted from a large villa, built in 2023, so all the facilities are quite new. There aren't many family-friendly room types on the island, but this one is very good. Hygiene: Very clean. Service: Very responsive and friendly. My only minor complaints are that the breakfast area is a bit small. If the hotel is full and there are many families with children, it can get crowded. Also, the tables are a bit small; for a double table, once two plates are on it, there's no room for a third. A family of three would have to split up at two tables. In the room, there's no laundry basket or designated area for clothes. There are only two hooks on the wall for used towels, so when I showered, I had to put my clean clothes on the bed.

The hotel's location is fantastic, right on a food street and with a supermarket nearby. The design is unique and very photogenic; even the entrance has become a popular photo spot. Another highlight is the breakfast – it's exquisite and delicious! I also offered some suggestions and received prompt feedback. I hope for an even better experience on my next stay.

Our room was on the 4th floor, the top floor, and we had booked two suites, which actually turned out to be two rooms directly opposite each other. There was a small balcony, perfect for relaxing. Since the hotel is on an island and there's no elevator, it's at least a 10-15 minute walk from the pier to the hotel. We arrived at night, and carrying our own luggage there was quite tiring. During the day, they do offer luggage service to help you. When we left, they helped transport our luggage to the pier. On another note, breakfast and afternoon tea were quite simple. Overall, it's a convenient place if you're visiting the island.
