This campsite, which we booked to see the Golden Mountain in Rizhao, is in a very good location, a 5-minute walk from the internet-famous lake. If you want to see the reflection of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in Rizhao in the lake, you don’t have to get up too early to get a good spot compared to coming from Lijiang city. If you don’t want to join the crowd, you can perfectly enjoy the Golden Mountain in Rizhao in the campsite. You can also go to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain early the next morning. It is very suitable for leisure travel and accommodation.

The hotel is located in the Dongba Valley Scenic Area, with a beautiful environment and fresh air. It is very close to Yulong Snow Mountain, about 15 minutes by car. The room is an independent cabin with ok facilities. The toilet, bathroom and wash basin are completely separate, which is great. There is a woody fragrance in the house, and there is a small terrace outside. When you come out, you will see green everywhere. Take a deep breath, and the negative oxygen ions will fill your body, which is very comfortable. There is an observation deck in the park. When the weather is good, you can see the golden mountain in the sun. There is a little sister named Xiaoli, who is so considerate. Because we arrived at the hotel late, the little sister was afraid that we would be cold, so she gave us an extra heater. In the middle of the night, I broke the leg of my glasses, which is very important for myopia. What a terrible thing. I still have to drive during the day, so I quickly contacted Sister Xiaoli. Sister Xiaoli immediately brought me transparent tape, and it really stuck. The little beauty is so smart, thank you very much. Breakfast is a bit too simple. Each person has a plate, a piece of bread, a bun, a dumpling, an egg, a bowl of porridge or a bowl of rice noodles. It is not enough. I don’t know if I can add more. Anyway, I am not full and I don’t feel embarrassed to add more. I live here to climb the snow mountains. If I don’t eat enough, I will easily get altitude sickness. It was my first time in Yunnan, Lijiang, Yuhu Lake, and Pushi. As soon as I arrived at the store, there was an enthusiastic brother who helped me with my luggage. The enthusiastic explanation from the front desk when I checked in and the rich afternoon tea provided by the hotel all left a wonderful bit of this trip. There is a viewing platform on the second floor of the hotel that can directly see the snow-capped mountains and a check-in point that is very photogenic. The configuration in the room is really comparable to that of a five-star hotel, including electric towel racks, humidifiers, electric toilets, etc., including the selection of spare parts, which can reflect the level of this hotel. It can be seen that the boss has his own set of things. Finally, I would like to nominate and praise the shopkeeper Xiao Li. Due to family members' colds and altitude sickness, we retreated early from Xiaozhongdian. But I had no regrets at all. Yuhu Village welcomed me with a bright and beautiful view. I really loved the relaxation and freedom of Yuhu Village, the friends at Ruixi Hotel, and the cute kittens, especially the little pine cones. Had a nice chat with one of the hosts over chinese tea and flower biscuits at check-in. A pity we had to miss the complimentary breakfast due to early check-out. While correspondence with the guesthouse was relatively timely and smooth, it was rather unfortunate that our group of 3 felt more of a burden to the service staff, where we needed to accommodate them instead of feeling welcomed - from pickup with our at the ancient town carpark, to having to specially request for assistance with luggage during early check-out. The service just wasn't as forthcoming as we had experienced in other guesthouses during our 10-day trip in Yunnan. In terms of room amenities, the linen were single-use, and there was hardly any space/seating apart from the beds for 3 persons in the duplex room - overall adequate.

The most fortunate thing about this family trip to Lijiang is that we encountered this treasure residence. From the intimate contact before check-in to the beautiful scenery of the snow-capped mountains that can be seen by opening the window, every detail is poetic and picturesque, intoxicating.
🌟Butler-style service, warm and spring-like care
The day before check-in, the homestay butler took the initiative to contact and carefully confirm the itinerary and needs. When we arrived, the butler was waiting in the courtyard and took the initiative to help carry the luggage. In the lobby, the proprietress was smiling, asking about our well-being, and enthusiastically introducing the precautions for check-in and the services to be provided, as if they were family members reunited after a long absence. Then a sumptuous afternoon tea was served, and the baby ate very happily.
🏔️Snow-capped mountains as a curtain, picturesque window views
The design of the room is amazing-the floor-to-ceiling windows face the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and the misty peaks are like silver dragons. The light and shadows of dawn and dusk change, and the snow-capped mountains are sometimes covered with gold and sometimes dyed with clouds, as if a natural oil painting is hanging in front of the window. In the afternoon, leaning on the soft couch by the window, opening the free sparkling water in the refrigerator, watching the snow-capped mountains dancing with the flowing clouds, time seems to freeze here. What's even better is that the room is filled with elegant wood incense, like the breath of pine forest springs, echoing the coldness of the snow-capped mountains, and the sense of luxury is overwhelming, even breathing has become a pleasure.

The care of the homestay permeates every corner: the bedding is made of high-end materials, the hardness is just right, and you can sleep soundly all night without dreams; the toiletries are Parma, and the bathroom facilities are also full of high-end feeling, especially when you take a bath in the bathtub while watching the snow-capped mountains next to the large floor-to-ceiling windows, and you can get rid of all your fatigue and the style is full. Surprisingly, the room is equipped with Bluetooth speakers and projectors. When you take a bath at night, you can listen to light music and look up to the snow-capped mountains and starry sky, which is extremely romantic.

The courtyard design of the B&B combines the needs of taking photos and checking in with modern aesthetics. There is also a small pool in the center. The hotel's service is really impeccable. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, the staff greeted me with a sincere smile, and also formed a 5-person service group to plan your itinerary and recommend surrounding attractions. I checked in in the afternoon and prepared a sumptuous afternoon tea. The breakfast on the second day was also rich. It is worth mentioning that the breakfast can be served until 12 o'clock, which is really suitable for people like me who love to sleep in.
Facilities:
Walking into the guest room, wooden furniture, tables and chairs, with soft beds and night lights, and wireless charging integrated with the night lights, it can really solve the urgent problem if you forget to bring a charger. The weather in Yunnan is relatively dry, and a humidifier is placed at the head of the bed. It automatically cuts off the power when there is no water, which is safe and considerate. The bathroom has complete toiletries, and it is a Dyson hair dryer. The boss really spent a lot of money. Wet toilet paper is also provided next to the toilet.
Environment:

Before we got there, I contacted the hotel if it is comfortable for my mom to stay there because she is 88 years old and need to use wheelchair. After that they made up a wechat group to facilitate us. The staff who took care of us , xiao juan , helped us with the trip plan, escorted us to the ancient town of Dayan and Shuhe ,lead us to understand the town of Baisha and helped us with everything we need. She shows her emphaty to people with everthing she does.All the staffs there are young , polite and friendly. The location of the hotel is very suitable for exploring the ancient town of Baisha. The view of the snow mountain can be seen from the inner garden and more clearly from the third floor of the hotel.The room is comfortable with good quality bedsheet , blanket , towels and the heating floor. The breakfast is adequate with a set of chinese small dishes together with a choice of boiled rice or noodles. They provide free coffee all day with daily afternoon tea set and late night sweet soup and plum wine. I feel like I have nothing to ask more and wish to express my gratitude to all the staffs here. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to all who need to receive impressive service from these lovely staffs.

AAnonymous UserVery nice mountain view! Was given welcome snacks/ tea when we arrived and fruits for night snack for the first night. We had daily breakfast and staff was kind to even pack a simple breakfast for us when we had to leave at 615am on one of the mornings. Staff replied rather quickly on WeChat too. One thing to note tho, there’s only one lift hence need to wait quite awhile/ take stairs if there’s a lot of other guests. Still highly recommend!

While the facilities are adequate, the layout lacks privacy. For instance, to use the cabin's toilet, all curtains on the first level must be closed. Additionally, the toilet bowl is situated behind stairs without any curtains, potentially allowing others in the cabin to see. Moreover, the second-level flooring consists of planks with numerous gaps, providing visibility to the first level, including the bathtub and toilet bowl.
I strongly advise against booking this accommodation for families with children due to the safety risk posed by the sliding doors on the second level, which lack safety measures. While they offer a unique view of the mountain, the danger of potential falls is significant. If you do choose to consider it as a family cabin, I recommend checking with the staff to lock the doors from the outside for added safety.
Despite the unexpected aspects mentioned above, our overall stay was still decent. The staff were hospitable and helpful throughout our visit. Communication was convenient via WeChat for check-in details, recommendations, and self-checkout. It seems that the camping style of accommodation was a selling point, it’s definitely a unique stay. I’m sure there’s a specific crowd that would fully enjoy the experience.
