Wonderful hotel. Very conveniently located to the eastern entrance. The staff is always ready to help in any situation. Breakfasts are Chinese, you can eat only noodles and watermelon, there is coffee. There is a washing machine on each floor, on the 6th floor you can dry your laundry. Excellent pool.

We were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade, and it completely exceeded our expectations. The room itself was spacious, beautifully designed, and had the most breathtaking views of the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park — waking up to those iconic sandstone pillars felt like a dream. The location is unbeatable, right by the park entrance, making it so convenient for exploring. The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel incredibly welcome throughout our stay. ✅ Highlights: • Stunning upgraded room with floor-to-ceiling views • Perfect location near the park • Lovely, peaceful atmosphere after a day of sightseeing • Thoughtful touches that made our stay feel special This hotel truly elevated our Zhangjiajie experience. Got upgraded to the river view which is better instead of just viewing the trees. Very convenient location, walking distance to the wulingyuan, eateries and little convenient store just downstairs. Self paid airport/Station transfer booking service available. Home cooked local breakfast daily - comfort food just what we need: mantou, porridge, noodles, coffee, soya bean. Cleanliness can be improved, less stains and hair around the room (beddings and bathroom), less cobwebs and trapped dust.

The hotel is located right in the heart of the little mountain town and is very close to a bunch of food places and shops, as well as the entrance to the national park. The staff was extremely helpful and hospitable, booked us park passes and told us where to go and were very easy to communicate with. The room had a gorgeous river and mountain view and very nice facilities in the hotel overall. We would come back!

Service was exceptionally remarkable with them going the extra mile everytime, we felt very welcomed throughout our whole stay. On the day of our stay, our flight was delayed and they checked up on us. When we were leaving it was raining heavily and they helped us with our luggages and sheltered us from the rain. Location was a stone’s throw away from ZJJ national forest park, 10 mins by foot and 4 mins by car. They will also offer to help you book tickets/transport to ensure the best prices as ZJJ is known for tourist traps.

The hotel is within walking distance away from Zhangjiajie National Park East Entrance. The stream is just at the doorstep. Pick a shallow spot for some water splashing activities with the children. The hotel staff is helpful and friendly. Contacted me after I booked the room via WeChat. Helped me purchased Zhangjiajie National Park, Grand Canyon, and Tianmen mountain tickets at a cheaper price. The helpful staff also helped me plan my itinerary and trekking route that is less taxing on the knees for my elderly mother. It ended up that the staff recommended that I should stay one night less at their Lanting hotel after they reorganised my itinerary to spend a night at Furong Town (that I had originally planned for a day trip only). The staff said that having more time at Furong is more relaxing and we could enjoy the night view and performances. The hotel staff provide a discount number that we could quote if we dine at 12 restaurants nearby to enjoy the discounted price. I am very impressed by Lanting's professionalism and service. I highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Zhangjiajie.

This place is cool! It's quite close to Wulingyuan entrance, just a 10-minute walk, nearby the river. The staffs are really friendly and helpful, giving us tips on hiking Zhangjiajie and directions. They even sell tickets for the cable car and Bailong elevator, which we bought. Plus, they offer foot spa services and gave us a discount! They also have one washing machine at each floor, free to use.

Room design is special with the bath tub next to the window with the river view. The breakfast not much choice but so far so good. The location is nice, next to the river and walking distance to to National Park entrance.

Hotel contacted us after booking and helped us arrange our itineraries through WeChat. They also helped us buy our tickets. We were allowed to check in early as our rooms were ready, which we appreciated. The room was very nice and clean. Unrelated to the hotel itself, I would recommend against booking tickets for Zhangjiajie attractions in advance (even though there is a discount) as the weather is unpredictable and you don't want to be stuck going to see a sea of fog because you've already paid. There is a laundry machine available but it was almost always being used. There is also a convenience store, restaurant, and massage place all under the same management and right next door. The breakfast was pretty good and options changed between the two days we were there for.

Stayed for 3 nights for our visit around zhangjiajie. Definitely a must stay if you're visiting here. Here's why: Best hotel staff, impeccable service and great hospitality. Planned our tour around all the attractions to fit into our tight schedule, and booked our tickets beforehand. Also provided us with restaurant recommendations anytime during the day. Lastly, arranged transportation and requested driver to go fast but safe as we're running late for train, which we managed to make it. Kudos to them! Not to forget, the amazing view from hotel and mere 10 minutes walk to east gate. Thanks Lanting for the wonderful memories !

Perfect location, just in front of a river with amazing view, staff are the most kind and helpful, they helped us to book all the activities and were super patient explaining everything we needed to know. Very nice and clean room, laundry room also available

The hotel room was great, with everything we needed and comfortable beds. The location is good, overlooking the mountains and river, making it quiet and relaxing. Unfortunately, the pool wasn’t open yet, so I can’t comment on the amenities. The only downside was breakfast, which had limited options and terrible coffee and tea. However, the staff were very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
