Find 5-Star Hotels in Zhangjiakou

I stayed at a nice local hotel conveniently located just a five-minute walk from Fulong Snow Park. While my room was slightly dirty, it wasn't enough for me to raise a complaint; it felt as though the cleaner might have been in a hurry. I attempted to order room service, but unfortunately, no one answered the phone. Breakfast offered a mix of Chinese and Western dishes, but I found it lacking compared to other hotel breakfasts I've experienced. One downside was that there was no way to book tickets for the snow park directly through the hotel. Perhaps there was a method, but it wasn't available in English. At Fulong Snow Park, I encountered difficulties as the English-speaking window had no staff who could assist in English. It was quite challenging to navigate everything. Fortunately, I managed to find an English-speaking ski instructor named Alex, who I highly recommend. Although this is unrelated to the hotel, I felt it was worth mentioning!

Let's talk about the advantages first. The room is big enough, the bed is big enough, there are supermarkets downstairs, shopping and eating are super convenient, the service of the beautiful women who check in and check out is good, the breakfast is rich, the pancakes are good, especially delicious, the service of the restaurant waiter is also very good, will take the initiative to ask if you need help, both enthusiastic and measured, very good... Let's talk about the disadvantages. First of all, it was Friday night when we arrived at the hotel entrance. The ground parking spaces were full when we arrived at the hotel entrance. Not only full, but there was a bit of chaos. Then we were unfamiliar with the underground garage. The hotel is connected to the underground of Ginza Shopping Mall, and it is also very chaotic. There are all kinds of reverse driving and all kinds of random parking. This will really give travelers a bad experience. It's hard to find a parking space. I sincerely suggest that the underground garage management keep up. Another point is that the alarm clock at the bedside rang at 6 o'clock, and I was completely confused 😅. It's earlier than when I wake up on weekdays. I want to cry but I can't cry. It is recommended that the waiter help check the alarm clock after the previous check-out, after all, he doesn't know if it's a new guest 😌

Although it is five-star, it is too casual. I planned to go to the bar to listen to music at night, but a group of people were singing with broken voices🎤, and the whole hotel was filled with the sense of farmhouse music! It seems to be the boss's friend or something, isn't this a signboard? The swimming pool is not open and there is no place to play. The only afternoon tea is good and worth a visit. The environment and quality are not as good as Hengxing Metropark, although the prices are similar. The service is not bad, and Wanggui Hotel has improved its quality.

It was great stay, starting from check in, staff Tiffany is especially detailed in her explanation and even brought us to the ski rental and instructor area to answer our queries. Throughout the stay, we added her in WeChat and she replied promptly when we encountered any issues. My room is facing the slope and the ski resort is accessible at the basement level which makes it convenient. Breakfast spread is good too with international spread. The Chinese restaurant that located at the basement has very nice food too. This hotel is highly recommended for the service and location to the ski resort.

I had an exam and didn't book a hotel, so Ctrip arranged for me to come here. The environment was very good, the staff was gentle and polite, which made me relax greatly before the exam and relieved the anxiety caused by the long journey. The breakfast was rich and tempting, but unfortunately I didn't eat much because of my bad stomach. I had a little hypoglycemia during the day, and the hotel staff ran a long way to find a big bag of fruit candy for me. It was a very happy experience. I wish the hotel business will be prosperous and better.

This hotel exceeded my expectations and gave me many surprises. Although the price was not low during the Spring Festival, the hotel prepared a free dinner on the third day of the New Year, with simple Western food and drinks, and a resident band. It was really thoughtful, with games and draws, and my family and I had a great time. The water temperature of the swimming pool was very good, and we reserved it ourselves. The breakfast was very rich. The bedding was comfortable. The only thing to be improved was that the temperature in the room was too high, and it would be better to open the window a little. But I really like this Oakwood.

We just loved our 3-night stay at the Thaiwoo Hotel! First off, it was so clean, which is really important when traveling with family – you want everything to feel spotless and comfortable, and that’s exactly what we had here. The location was fantastic, especially for skiing families like ours. It’s just steps from the ski resort entrance, so no stressing about long walks or shuttles. Honestly, it couldn’t be more convenient! There were plenty of food places around for easy dinners after a long day on the slopes, and the hotel’s breakfast was Chinese-style and absolutely satisfying. It gave us all the energy we needed for the day ahead – just perfect for both kids and adults! The service was another highlight. Everyone was so kind and accommodating, and traveling moms know how much little things like that matter. Plus, the hotel even offers a convenient transfer to the train stations, which made our trip so much easier. No headaches or complicated logistics – just smooth sailing! We had such a wonderful time and will absolutely be coming back. If you’re planning a family ski trip, I can’t recommend the Thaiwoo Hotel enough. It checked all the boxes for us, and we can’t wait to return!

This was the best hotel I've stayed at in China. It's even better than hotels that were 4 times the price. The attention to detail in the rooms was excellent. My favorite amenities were the pillow/mattress menu, free soap scrubber in the shower, open concept bathroom. I was also please that the hotel provided a small air conditioner (since it's late October, the hotel's system was set to heat instead is cool) and I was able to sleep in 20 degree comfort. Also, the hotel had free wine tasting! Also, the restaurant was delicious (expensive, but worth it!).

This is the fourth year I have stayed at Zhangjiakou International Hotel. The hotel's facilities and services are excellent. This time I slept on the buckwheat pillow in the hotel room and I felt it was great. I even bought two to take home. During the stay, the staff decisively changed the room because of the noise problem on the floor. As long as the problem was raised, the staff would help solve it as soon as possible. It was great!

I came to Chongli for a week. On the first night, I stayed in a five-star hotel in a ski resort where you can ski in and out. The room was too dry and the hardware was too old. I decisively changed to the new InterContinental Hotel on the second day. From the basement to the lobby, to the room, to the restaurant, to every corner, I felt at home from the hardware to the service. If you drive to ski and have high requirements for accommodation quality, InterContinental is the best choice. The breakfast is rich, exquisite, and has many varieties. The executive lounge has afternoon tea and Chinese food for dinner. The facilities are complete. The floor heating temperature in the room is ideal, and there is no need to turn on the air conditioner, which solves the problem of dryness. The two front desk staff, Xuefeng and Liu Jie, warmly received me and helped me arrange the luggage. Since I booked the room only when I arrived at the store, they also helped me compare the preferential prices on various platforms and booked the room for me. Thank you very much!
