Must like it! Living in a homestay, the comfort is full. First of all, the homestay is facing the street, the navigation is easy to find, and the beautiful proprietress helped arrange the parking space on October 2. Secondly, the room is newer, clean, the shower water is large, there is a balcony drying unit, and the hanger tube is enough. Again, our group of five people booked 2 rooms, should provide 4 people breakfast, originally planned to add more money, but the beautiful boss smiled and said no, breakfast is very delicious, what you want to eat, do it on the spot, side dishes are also quite good.

The location couldn't be better – just a few minutes' walk from the main entrance of Huangshan Mountain. The owner was incredibly welcoming and the place itself had a lovely atmosphere. They went above and beyond, thoughtfully helping us plan our routes and even lending us trekking poles. We were so grateful for their hospitality and will absolutely be back on our next trip!

There is a swing seat in front of the inn. It is especially suitable for watching the night view at night. I live in a room with a small balcony. It is really good to sit there and drink tea. The boss also prepared tea sets and tea for us. It is really good. The boss and the proprietress are very enthusiastic and can’t find a parking space. The boss will come over to help you find it. Their dishes are also very delicious, especially the signature chicken. It must be ordered. It is really delicious. If I come here next time, I will go to their house again.

The homestay I stayed at this time really surprised me! The room design is warm and stylish, and the facilities are all available. The location is super convenient, and there are authentic local food recommendations around.

GGuest UserThis stay really exceeded my expectations! I booked this place after seeing the recommendation in a book before the holiday. Through communication, I felt that the boss was very nice. He would patiently help me read the guide and give thoughtful suggestions on attractions and meals. The homestay is quiet and comfortable, the room is exquisitely decorated and warm, the bedding is soft and clean, and it is so comfortable to sleep~ The landlady is warm and thoughtful, and prepared local specialty snacks for us. The meals cooked at home are also very delicious, especially the fried meat with fresh bamboo shoots, which is super delicious. We also provided pick-up and drop-off services for our mountain climbing the next day. In the evening, we wanted to buy things at the entrance of the scenic spot. In order not to let us get scammed, we drove ourselves to take a detour to buy. When we left, we also took us to a delicious restaurant where locals go. The female boss really paid full marks for details. I strongly recommend it to friends who come to Huangshan to relax. I will definitely come again on my next trip❤️

GGuest UserMy family and I (5 of us) recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming homestay in Hongcun for two days and one night, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The building, steeped in history at 400 years old, is located relatively close to the West entrance, making access a breeze. The rooms were beautifully decorated, clean, and well-kept. Although I initially booked three specific rooms, they were unavailable due to renovation. However, I was provided with three other rooms that turned out to be more spacious, which was a delightful surprise.
The lobby felt incredibly welcoming, with a cozy living-room-style atmosphere. There’s a lovely café to the left and a souvenir shop to the right, adding a nice touch of convenience and charm as you walk toward the living area. Wan Jie (elder sister Wan), the host, was truly hospitable and attentive. Her warmth shone through from our first phone call, which she answered cheerfully while helping arrange our pickup, as cars aren’t allowed into Hongcun, a UNESCO Heritage Site.
One of the highlights of this homestay was the restaurant nestled in a ”secret” garden—a serene and picturesque spot where my family and I could have happily spent more time. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, adding to the overall experience. Though it was too cool to use during my visit, the homestay also features a pool that would be perfect for summer days.
At the end of our stay, Wan Jie went above and beyond by accompanying us to the village exit to wait for our driver, ensuring everything went smoothly before saying her goodbyes. It’s rare to experience such personalized hospitality, and it made a memorable impression on us.
Based on my positive experience, I would highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Hongcun. It’s a unique blend of history, comfort, and genuine hospitality that truly enhances the visit.

GGuest UserThe accommodation has a free shuttle to/from the station, definitely a plus! It's only a 10 minute walk, but 10 minutes with heavy luggage is something you could miss. It’s a bit inconvenient that you have to call them to actually book the shuttle, because I don’t speak Mandarin and they don’t speak English, so a call would not be possible, but maybe that’s something that Trip could improve on. When I checked out, the lady told me (through a translation app) that she could drop me off at the station, which I was very happy about.
When I checked in, I got a room upgrade as well. I was alone so I didn’t really need two beds, but the the huge room was very nice after all those bunk beds in hostels! They also offer a carpooling service to the ticket office/entrance of Huangshan for a good price! Just tell them the night before that you’d like to go to Huangshan and they will arrange a shuttle for you (mine was at 7 am in the morning and I just had to message them when I wanted to go back to the hotel in the evening).
They can offer sightseeing tips, they can recommend you something to eat. Just ask and they will help you. Sometimes it was just a bit hard to communicate, the woman uses a translation app which works just fine, but the man doesn’t, he tries to explain everything in Mandarin by using gestures, writing it down in Mandarin … but then it’s obviously not easy to understand each other. That aside, they’re both so sweet and helpful. I would stay there again, if I ever come back!
Side note, Trip does not give you the correct address of the hotel (in English). Whichever map app I used, it would send me to an open space in the street of the hotel. The hotel is actually located just a bit further next to a (very good!) restaurant, but just ask someone in the street and they will bring you to the reception of the hotel, if you can’t find it. 😉

TTianmingbeihaiA hidden, ancient courtyard tucked away in Tunxi Old Street, featuring a stargazing loft where you can gaze at the starry sky and bright moon directly from your bed. On the Mid-Autumn Festival, I was able to lie in bed and watch the moon without stepping outside—it was truly dreamlike. The common areas are incredibly spacious; my child spent time practicing calligraphy and playing the guzheng, completely captivated. It was wonderfully relaxing, washing away all the fatigue from yesterday's hike up Huangshan.

Un business familial et ça se voit. Toute la famille est impliquée. À quelques minutes des bus pour la montagne n'hésitez pas à échanger avec les gérants pour avoir tout les informations.
Magnifique vue sur la montagne. Je recommande le restaurant interne pour le petit déjeuner et pour un chaud repas en fin de journée. Petite épicerie sur place, idéale pour de l'eau avant d'escalader la montagne.
N'hésitez pas à demander aux propriétaires pour organiser votre retour à la gare avec un taxi local. Cela vous coûtera moins cher que n'importe quel Didi.
Le reste est classique et efficace. Grands lits, prises internationales, salle de bain avec tout le nécessaire. Et propriétaire joignable en cas de pépin. N'hésitez pas à prévenir si vous arrivez tardivement !

A family business, and it shows. The whole family is involved. Just a few minutes from the mountain buses, don't hesitate to chat with the managers to get all the information.
Magnificent view of the mountains. I recommend the in-house restaurant for breakfast and a hot meal at the end of the day. Small grocery store on site, ideal for water before climbing the mountain.
Don't hesitate to ask the owners to organize your return to the station by local taxi. It will cost you less than any Didi.
The rest is classic and efficient. Large beds, international sockets, bathroom with everything you need. And owner reachable in case of a problem. Do not hesitate to let them know if you are arriving late !

AAnonymous UserTo be honest, I don't like staying in B&Bs. Most B&Bs are not very grand. They are just for making quick money, but they don't provide any service. The employees are usually just friends or relatives, or they are from the same village, so there is no service to speak of. I would like to talk about my feelings about staying in this hotel. I won’t talk about the accommodation environment for now. Holiday economy housing is definitely expensive. We took a shower first after we moved in. Because the B&B didn’t provide laundry detergent or something like that, I used shower gel to wash my clothes. After washing, I found that there were not enough bathing supplies, so I contacted the B&B to send a set. They replied that the toiletries we were equipped with were more expensive, so they only gave us one set. They said that if we needed more, we could only get toiletries of another brand. I suddenly felt uncomfortable. The accommodation fee was more than 1,000 yuan a night, and I didn’t know how expensive this set of toiletries was? Four small bottles of Evian water were provided, and we didn't feel comfortable asking for more after we finished them. What I want to say is that your service concept and the fees you charge don't match, because I have stayed in countless hotels, and this is the first time I have encountered such a thing. Secondly, the breakfast is very simple. Among the four side dishes, only the pickled vegetables were bought and the only one that was freshly made was the fried tofu. Also, I heard a guest wanted to ask the management for some fruit, but you refused. As a guest, it took her courage to ask you for something. Is there something wrong with your management model and business model? I wanted it to be high-end, but the service was not up to par. I'm so embarrassed that I really want to get it off my chest.

GGuest UserThe most beautiful proprietress in Hongcun is not only beautiful, she also drives to and from the hotel herself. The service is meticulous and the accommodation environment is good. Although the soundproofing of the century-old wooden house is not good, everyone consciously goes to bed before ten o'clock. The village is very quiet. It was a two-day rest after coming down from Huangshan Mountain. It's great! Super five-star praise!
