i am mostly satisfied with this hostel. staffs are really friendly to me and breakfast was also nice.
the only thing i’d like to mention is about a hair dryer.
i didn’t ask but i don’t think there’s a hairdryer in each room.
additionally you should bring your towel otherwise you have to pay €2 per towel and €10 as deposit to borrow it.

You can solve your stay in Munich at an affordable price.
I thought it would be uncomfortable because the shower and toilet were shared on each floor, but it was nice because it was clean and not crowded.
I will book again if I visit Munich next time!
Especially the beer you eat with a free drink is delicious! You can feel the traveler's sensibility.
The shower suddenly cut off, a little scared, others are good, very self-service to solve, the location is quite good, travel is convenient, take the train to Bamberg and Rotenberg to play, very convenient.

I used the dormitory on a solo trip. It is secure and I think that even women can use it with peace of mind. The location is good, so I will use it again when I go to Munich. I went to Neuschwanstein Castle from Munich Central Station, but it was convenient because it was close to 、 station.
Great value for money! The room was very quiet, and the front desk service was excellent. You need to make your own bed, but you just drop off the linens at the front desk when you check out. The bathroom was very clean. I'd definitely stay here again if I'm ever in the area.
The reason I chose this hostel is its affordable price (8 beds femare room - in one big room), located close to Nürnberg Hbf (only 1 stop using U-Bahn), and the bunk bed has a curtain (the most important thing, since it gives you privacy). The shared bathroom is clean and has two showers and two toilets. This hostel also (surprisingly) has a well equipped kitchen with microwave and refrigerator. You can cook by yourself and eat your food in its nice kitchen (there are some chairs and tables with sockets). I will definitely stay in this hostel again if I come to Nürnberg.

The bunk bed was fine. The shower room doesn’t have dry area to get dress so be prepared. The hair dryer can be borrow from the reception but the towel need to rent with fee. There’s one free drink for each night stay. Need to bring the duvet sheet and pillow sheet down to reception for the check out.

YYouxiapeiEveryone was quite considerate. I checked out early in the morning. The hotel is very close to the main train station. One thing to note is that the hotel no longer offers free luggage storage before or after check-in. You have to pay to store your belongings in a locker.

Aaghi27Everything was great! Service was great! Room was great! Nearby FlixBus station which is the most convenient. Will be back here if I’m in Munich again
RRobinsonMichaelAuthentic and rustic on the outside, my room had been refurbished with up to date bathroom fixtures and shower, flooring, paint and furniture. Able to sleep 2 adults, 1 teen and 2 small kids. The Gruner Hof is a short walk across the Isar to Freising's old town and monastery (must see). Lots of options for public transportation; bus, train, taxi.
Quaintness factors: 2nd story rooms have the sloping roof and ceiling. I'm tall. Took me a week to stop bumping into it. Across the street is a church/school with a bell tower that chimes the time from 7am to 10pm; you'll always know the time but doesn't bother at night. Good sidewalks everywhere.

GGuest UserUpon arrival no one answered the door on either side of the street. We had no way to call the number posted. Fortunately kind guests helped to call as they were coming out the door and directed us to our room. No contact with hosts until breakfast the next morning. Breakfast was excellent.
