The B&B, named 'Zen', truly lives up to its name – it's incredibly quiet and peaceful, a perfect place for introspection. Our little one had an absolute blast here. It was the perfect ending to our Chinese New Year trip! The service, whether from the older lady or the younger woman, was absolutely wonderful and incredibly warm-hearted. They were so thoughtful, and we'll definitely be staying here again on our next visit.

I am deeply amazed on how comfy and good this hostel is. Located in Nantou Anicent town, so close to the entrance yet surrounded with unlimited shops, foods, museums, a bakery next door serving really unique cream bread, supporting local businesses. Upon stepping into my dorm room, I was greeted with a college like white blue vibe, decorated with art works from a girl, I love how it has its personal touch separating it from other hostel brands. It's one of a kind that is hard to find elsewhere. My favourite is the bed. It felt like home, so cozy yet so warm, blanket felt fleecy yet not too warm or cold. The pillow was chef kissed that I planned to buy when I get home, it had the shape of where the head should be laid inwards, while supporting the neck. The bed is so comfy firm yet not super soft and not too hard like brick. There is a ”stubborn” cabinet, a shelf to put your stuff on, 2 option of light: 1 to brighten the bed up and a nice warm night light. There is space for luggage under the bed, lockers comes with a lock and key which is such a good idea, so it's for sure a very safe locker. The metal net near the door is perfect for drying clothes with many hangers to use. They also gives a voucher sheet to use to support the local business nearby, can treat yourself with a hair cut or a massage. Bathroom. Sink area is so cute, shower room and toilet is together, feels a bit tight but still good. Near reception, you have free amenities to use. I wasn't very social enough so I didn't enter the other areas that has dining, laundry and the bar. Would recommend this place to other people and coming back when in Shenzhen.

We checked in on a rainy evening, and Wu, a very kind gentleman from the hotel, specially waited for us at Guangji Gate Tower. He met us under two ancient banyan trees. We had an 88-year-old grandpa and grandma with us, along with a wheelchair and luggage. He truly was a warm-hearted person, calmly guiding the elderly as they walked slowly. During check-in, Xu, a lovely lady at the front desk, thoughtfully made sure the elderly sat down and brought them tea, making for a smooth check-in process. Wu then went back out in the sudden rain to pick up our driver. The hotel is brand new, with excellent facilities and a superb location. The breakfast features authentic Chaozhou specialties, and the chef, a wonderful lady, was very attentive and enthusiastic. When we checked out, a kind gentleman and a tall, beautiful lady from the hotel thoughtfully escorted the two elderly guests all the way to their car, which was parked under the banyan trees by Guangji Gate Tower. In my gratitude, I didn't get their names in time, but thankfully, I managed to snap a picture of their backs as they moved, truly touched by their kindness. Very clean and warm hotel. Very big room, huge window and view to the mountains. New double windows, so very quiet. Good beds and linen, good shower. The owners are extremely helpful. The girl made us 2 days itinerary with suggestions which places to go and which routes to use. She printed out the whole A4 text that was really helpful and made markings on the mountain map. We followed only her suggestions and without them it had been difficult decide where to go. The guy ordered us car to Shaoguan city, paid for it with his Wepay app and we paid him back using Alipay! It was so helpful of him to do it, because Alipay showed prices at around 150 RMB, Wechat only 58! We as foreigners couldn't download Wechat. Very good hotel, when visiting Danxia Mountains!

The rooms were beautifully designed, spotless, and offered breathtaking ocean views, especially at sunrise and sunset. The staff truly made the experience exceptional. Every team member was warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and memorable stay. The amenities were top-notch, from the relaxing pool area to the delicious on-site dining options that featured fresh, flavorful dishes. What stood out most was the peaceful atmosphere—it’s the perfect place to unwind, recharge, and enjoy nature without sacrificing comfort or luxury. Whether you’re traveling for a romantic getaway or a relaxing escape, this hotel delivers on every level. I would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect beachfront retreat.

This famous hotel is the best inn I have ever stayed in. Because the traffic jam came late, I didn’t expect the boss to wait for us at the front desk. I also upgraded our room for free. The most surprising thing is that there are moon cakes and sugar water for us. The lobby manager and the boss are very friendly. I gave my baby a lot of food and balloons, the whole feeling is very good, really worth recommending! (Thank you the innkeeper and staff for waiting for us so late ～)

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Dapeng. To be able to stay within the walls of the old fort, in a lovely, 200-year-old traditional building, was a real treat. The staff at Buyan were friendly and helpful. Tony, the manager, speaks excellent English and is very knowledgeable about the area and its history. The room itself was comfortable, and there was a sofa and chairs in the courtyard just outside. I have only one very small criticism; the table was a little wobbly, which made it tricky to use the laptop, but that won't stop me from going back. A really nice little place!

Our company held a team-building event and booked 10 rooms. The rooms were quite spacious, with balconies, a karaoke room, a mahjong room, and a billiards table. There was a lounge area in the lobby. The hotel had a great overall environment and excellent service. The owner even arranged breakfast for us, which was quite good. Highly recommended!

First off, the location is fantastic. The hotel is right next to the ancient city, and as soon as you step out, you're at Chaozhou West Lake. A quick right turn and you're in the old town. Plus, there's a bus stop right there that goes straight to Chaoshan Station and Guantang Town (for delicious beef hotpot, of course!). As for the environment, the room was incredibly spacious and bright, with beautiful views of West Lake Park right outside the window. The hygiene was also top-notch. The proprietress was incredibly warm and accommodating, always ready to help. She even enthusiastically shared recommendations for tourist spots and great places to eat. Overall, a 100-star experience! I highly recommend staying here!

The hotel's facilities, cleanliness, environment, and service are all good. Most importantly, it's very conveniently located near shopping, restaurants, and the subway. I would definitely stay here again.
