"This is the most affordable and value-for-money option at Ayers Rock Resort. You can use the free shuttle from the airport to the accommodation, and the shuttle bus comes right in front of the property according to a schedule, which is very convenient. The lookout is also nearby. Shared toilets, showers, and an outdoor kitchen are available. The washing machine is free to use, but there's no dryer; you hang clothes on the outdoor drying rack. If I had to pick a downside, it gets really cold at night. The blanket is thin, and the heating isn't great."

"Rooms lovely with modern bathroom. Easily located to Litchfield National Park Beautiful temperature in the hotel pool nice place to relax at the end of day. The restaurant food was absolutely delicious we enjoyed all food including barramundi, Snapper, Burger as well as delicious chocolate pudding and before departing this morning a wrap, bacon and egg sandwich and bacon eggs and mushroom and a delicious iced coffee. The Staff were very informative, helpful and pleasant to be around making our our morning start and evenings relaxed and enjoyable. I would like to specifically mention Angela your bright happy and helpful demeanour is a credit to you and I suggested to my daughter if she ever found herself in a customer service role to be like you. Well done on creating such a lovely environment."

"Arrived to a sign in reception “back at 8pm” we had to wait half an hour (24 hour reception) so after a long flight this was not good. Reception area also smelt of smoke. No lift to the second floor so an issue if you have heavy luggage. Hotel was noisy at night with people in the courtyard area very late into the night. Pool looked unmaintained and dirty. Also WiFi only worked in reception. On the plus side the hotel is in a good location and the rooms were clean and spacious and had clean bedding and towels."

"Darwin isn't very big, so everything's pretty close by. The hotel room was quite spacious and came with a balcony, but it was so hot and humid outside that the balcony was practically useless. Having a fridge in the room was convenient. Breakfast was a simple Western style. The room decor was a bit dated but very complete. There's a connecting door between my room and the next, probably for when they combine them into a suite. The staff were very enthusiastic. However, during my stay, there was a rather violent incident. In the morning, someone was violently banging on my door and shouting. After the noise stopped, I went out to check and found a mess, with plaster peeling everywhere. Staff were repairing it, but it was all fixed by the time I finished breakfast. It seemed like they were used to it."

"The hostel was close to the bus stop and town which was really handy. The facilities were good and seemed clean. It’s a shame reception isn’t open for longer to be able to ask staff any questions."

City centre is only a 10 minute walk away plus electric scooters available right out the front should you feel inclined to use instead of walking"

"I was so lucky to check into the hotel and meet Ms. Nie, the only Chinese-speaking staff member at the front desk. She patiently explained the hotel facilities to me. That evening, I was unsure about coming to the front desk because I was attending a Chinese stargazing event, but with her help, I confirmed the pick-up location. The next day, I went to the front desk again because I hadn't successfully booked the 'Field of Stars' exhibition. She patiently listened to me and then helped me contact the relevant company. After several negotiations, she finally helped me resolve the issue. Honestly, my English isn't great, and if it weren't for her, I really don't know what I would have done. But she just said, 'It's my job, no need to be polite.' Additionally, there was a small background light in my room that I couldn't turn off. I contacted the front desk staff the next day, and they immediately came to fix it for me. So, I want to say their service is excellent. The hotel is very affordable. For a simple meal, we ordered pizza, fries, and beer. It was delicious. The next day, we went to another hotel, and the food really wasn't as good as theirs. We ate in a temporary shed set up outdoors. In the evening, there was also a singing performance, which was very lively. There's also a BBQ area where you buy your food and grill it yourself. Everyone grilling their own meat with music playing was very lively. Although the exterior of the hotel rooms is quite ordinary, the interior facilities are not old, and it feels very cozy to stay in, with no strange odors. The two single beds in the standard room are very large, making it comfortable to sleep alone. The hotel breakfast is $49 per person, with a good variety of fruits, yogurt, bread, and fried eggs. I genuinely feel that such a breakfast in Australia is quite good. We stayed for two nights, and the room was tidied very cleanly when we returned. Each room has its own air conditioning, so you can turn it on when you go out for stargazing at night and come back to a warm room. The hotel also has its own small observation deck, which is said to be the closest to Uluru in the resort. It's only a 5-minute walk from the room door. Overall, I feel this hotel offers good value for money."

"Really enjoy the sunset viewing points with drinks and live music. Kings Canyon is a great wonder! The restaurant food is quite good, I would rate 4/5."

"Quite dirty structure, even in rooms (which are quite large) (Room and motel was quite dirty) Well breakfast included (Good breakfast) Motel comfortable in Katherine to reach the nearby places (but the country is objectively very small). (Good position, but Katherine is quite small)"

"Friendly lady at reception, good location safe, serene and has best sunset views. Quiet and serene. If lucky you get to see a roo while taking an evening or early morning stroll. Would have loved a change of bedsheets during cleaning time."
