The location is more inconvenient than it seems, since due to the airport fence, you need to walk about 20-30 minutes on extra-urban roads. The hotel is welcoming, extremely small rooms with very little space to hang clothes or place your things. The shower in the room is very nice and large. Comfortable bed. Ideal for spending the night when your flight leaves or arrives at inconvenient times.
The room is of a good size
Hygiene: clean and sanitary
Environment: The bus station is just opposite the hotel, but the bus is really expensive
Service: Very good, just make a request
The hotel was advertising with a swimming pool, and at the arrival we heard it was closed and converted into sports room, both were not accessible now, which was very sad, and the bathroom was not very clean and well maintained.
The comfort of the bed was great, and the dinner in the restaurant was very good.
This hotel has an exceptional location in the heart of Charleroi. It adjoins a major downtown shopping mall with international brands and standard fast food options including Burger King. My room had amazing view of the central plaza including the church. There is an excellent range of restaurants nearby and a small selection of convenience stores. However, there was are no large supermarket in this area, and getting access to pharmacies was difficult at night. The reception area has lively bar on level 2 and there is outdoor areas with seating and umbrellas for the summer period. During this visit in August, there was some live music in the streets nearby which added to the town atmosphere, but this city is not Brussels, as visitors should lower expectations regarding night life options. It about a 10 min walks to the Central Station and express buses to the airport. (Charleroi low cost airport) Note: The railway stations area is under construction, some care may be required with luggage.
Very close to the main street. Clean an beautiful inside.
This is a fitness center at the ground floor but we haven't made use of it.
It was amazing to see my name on the TV when I stapped into the room. The reception is very friendly and provided service at a professional way.
Highly suggested.
Nice hotel. As you are used to from Van der Valk Hotels. Unfortunately there was heavy construction work which had a negative impact on the stay. However, the employees tried very hard to make the guests as pleasant as possible. They did a great job!
I booked a room with a kitchen in the lake view room and I was surprised to hear the fire bell ringing after baking sausage because there was no kitchen hood. The facilities are clean and there are five big flies in the room. It's a little inconvenient all the time. And there's a beautiful scenery. I live on the first floor. The balcony door can't be opened. There are a lot of mosquitoes outside.
Well-regulated, remote location, suitable for self-driving, dozens of kilometers everywhere. After staying in a hotel for so many years, the first time I encountered a sewer with an abnormal smell.
Très bon hôtel. Personnel incroyable et serviable. Je recommande à 100%

GGuest UserLovely, quiet and very clean. Beds pretty comfortable too and you have access to drinks if you fancy until 1am. Breakfast only starts at 7am but that might be because i went off-peak season. Staff are helpful. Breakfast is okay but would like to see more savoury options. (no hot breakfast available) Very close to the train station so easy to travel during the day, but the hostel is down a bit of a back street so was a little difficult to find at first. Overall a good stay and would recommend for travellers!
GGuest UserWe were attracted to this facility by the fact that it is declared to be 300 metres from Charleroi airport.. unfortunately the 300 metres have been revealed a few km .. About 3 and a half ...Then you need to use taxi shipping service or eventually have a own means for which at least there is free parking. This very kind staff, the structure is beautiful but of course as ”support” for the road from and for the airport without too much expectation.

SSinclair VassPretty family hotel with a simple but tasty breakfast. Parking not clear when you arrive but just go a bit past the hotel and there is free parking on the left hand side (seems to serve some apartments but no signs saying you can’t park).
Staff are great 😁

AAnonymous UserSchönes Stadthotel im Zentrum von Mons. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind fußläufig erreichbar. Frühstück war gut. Mein Superior Zimmer war gut, allerdings etwas klein. Das ”Comic-Design” des Zimmers gewöhnungsbedürftig. ( Einige Zimmer sind Themenzimmer) Ich würde wiederkommen.
GGuest UserThe hotel has a good location but no parking the only parking in front is small and no place and the hotel's parking was in work so to find a place it took 1 h! The most unpleasant thing is the matlas that was too soft we s hang in it! If not c was clean and breakfast was good
