The room is very big, the materials are very good, the bed is very comfortable, I just arrived by train, this bed is a lifesaver. 2 meters wide, easy to flip.
There are many small restaurants nearby, and it is very convenient to walk to the Jokhang Temple in about 10 minutes. The invincible big window is very comfortable. Also, they just upgraded my room because there were not many guests. The front desk service attitude is very goodšI plan to go out for a while and come back to stay for two days.

This time I stayed at the Kawawo Bar Inn in Lhasa, I really soldered the word āperfectā into the experience! Must be praised ļ½
The young lady at the front desk is not only beautiful, but also very enthusiastic. We took two children, she was patient and meticulous throughout the whole process, helped with luggage, recommended places suitable for taking the baby, and specially prepared small snacks for the children. The children liked her very much. When they left, they still talked about saying goodbye to their sister.
The location is nothing to say, it is super close to the Mosque and the Jokhang Temple, and it takes not long to walk. The most convenient thing is that it takes 3 minutes to walk to Barkhor Street, and it is especially smooth to go to the shops. There are many dining options around, whether it is Tibetan flavor or other flavors, the quality and price are very satisfactory, no need to worry about eating.
The room can directly see the Potala Palace, the daytime to see the solemn, at night when the lights are on, the shock is really difficult to describe in words, sitting by the window can enjoy this beautiful scenery alone.
The room is a strong Tibetan style, the carpentry carved pattern is particularly exquisite, each place is full of ingenuity, the special lanterns and Tangka decoration make the atmosphere more sufficient. And it is particularly thoughtful, equipped with a humidifier and oxygen generator, which is too intimate for us who are first to the plateau, and live comfortably and at ease.
Next time you come to Lhasa, you must choose here!

Service: The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel truly at home.
Facilities: The hotel boasts excellent facilities. Our room was spotlessly clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable, and both the air conditioning and hot water supply worked perfectly.
Environment: The hotel's surroundings are absolutely beautiful and pleasant, featuring lovely gardens that create a truly relaxing and comfortable atmosphere.
Cleanliness: The room was impeccably clean, and the bedding was fresh and neat.
Overall: We were impressed with every aspect of this hotel and highly recommend staying here.
This feels like one of the better hotels in Shigatse, with an exotic feel to the overall design.
The service was excellent. Kerry, our receptionist, upgraded our room during check-in and explained some travel tips. He was very welcoming.
It's located in the heart of the city, just a short walk from the popular restaurant we found online.
There are two oxygen concentrators, which is better than the St. Regis in Lhasa. The St. Regis only has one, and we had to take turns using it.
The room is nice and the staff is friendly and helpful. As I had to leave early for a flight, the staff kindly prepared a simple takeaway breakfast for me because I was earlier than breakfast time, which I was appreciative of. Able to have a good night rest and wash up after a long day travelling, and being in a central location, I could just walk out and find a restaurant easily.
The hotel management is good š The room is clean and tidy. Convenient parking and convenient transportation. It is very convenient to take a taxi from Tea Horse Square and Qiang Bahrain Temple. Special mention: the hotel's breakfast is very good, the variety and taste good, even after eating two days of dishes are not heavy (hot dishes for breakfast every day, more than a dozen hot meals).

I saw this place online for a holiday trip and decided to check in. It didn't disappoint me. First of all, I really like the environment here. It's clean and sanitary. It's equipped with disposable towels and bath towels, which is very considerate. Secondly, the service is also very good. Free laundry, oxygen supply and humidification are turned on in advance (the most comfortable hotel I stayed in Tibet, the oxygen diffusion is in place, and the humidification is also in place). In short, I am very satisfied. I like the decoration style of this store very much. If you like Chinese and simple styles, you can go for it. Handmade ******* souvenirs: very heartwarming
The room is large and has diffused oxygen supply. A large walk-in closet is a big plus. The housekeeper Chloe also prepared a thoughtful and exquisite little gift, which was very pleasant!

AAnonymous User**Review of Lhasa Gonggar Airport Lan Ou International Hotel**
My stay at the Lhasa Gonggar Airport Lan Ou International Hotel was quite pleasant and convenient, particularly for a traveler looking for comfort near the airport. The hotel's prime location, just a short distance from the Lhasa Gonggar Airport, makes it an excellent choice for those with early flights or needing a quick stopover.
The hotel itself is modern and well-kept, with a clean and stylish design. My room was spacious and comfortable, featuring contemporary furnishings and all the necessary amenities for a restful stay. The bed was particularly comfortable, and the room's soundproofing ensured a peaceful night's sleep despite the proximity to the airport.
The staff were courteous and helpful throughout my stay, although there were occasional language barriers. Nonetheless, they were always willing to assist and made an effort to accommodate my requests. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth and efficient.
One area where the hotel could improve is its dining options. While the breakfast buffet offered a decent variety of dishes, I found that the food could benefit from more freshness and variety, especially for those staying multiple nights. Additionally, the Wi-Fi connection was somewhat inconsistent, which might be a concern for business travelers needing reliable internet access.
Overall, Lhasa Gonggar Airport Lan Ou International Hotel is a solid option for travelers looking for a comfortable stay close to the airport. While there are minor areas for improvement, the hotel's convenience, cleanliness, and friendly service make it a good choice for short stays or layovers.

SSubhankar MukherjeeThe service is the worst of all hotels where we have stayed worldwide. It is worse than even any 1-star rated hotel in China. Right from the entry, the check in is chaotic. No one attends to luggage. It takes 2 hours to do formalities and return passports. In Room dining, the order is a huge challenge. They take 2 hours to take order and deliver the food after 1 hour, when they serve only the food in a plate. No seperate dishes or any cutliaries (spoon or fork or chopsticks ... nothing provided). When you point these out, they say sorry and take another 1 hour to bring plates, chop sticks etc. BY now 5 hours passed and food is so cold and not eatable. This is a regular scenario ... repeated 3 times, I.e. everything we placed an order. It's a huge challenge.
On amenities, the beds are extremely uncomfortable. If you just take a turn while sleeping, the other person is sure to wake up. They call king size bed .. it's two seperate beds kept side by side with cheap quality spring mattress.
On breakfast, it's very limited and every day same menu. No varieties, the food taste is horrible as well. Extremely bad experience.for the price that is paid. The feeling has been a complete waste of money, sleepless nights, staying hugry and waiting for food post order for 5.hours every time we ordered room dining. The same situation in restaurent as well.
GGuest UserA Life-Saving Stay with Breathtaking Views!ā
My stay at **Tibet Hostel** was absolutely incredibleāthanks to the **kind and attentive staff** named xu mu the manager who went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. As someone sensitive to high altitude, their **nasal oxygen supply** was a *literal lifesaver*, helping me adjust comfortably.
The **morning breakfast** was a delightful experience, with fresh ******* bread, warm tea, and eggs served with a **panoramic mountain view** that made every meal unforgettable. The hostel even **customized my food** to accommodate dietary preferencesāa rare and thoughtful touch!
I was especially grateful for their **willingness to fulfill special requests**. When I asked for a room with the famous **āPotato Field Viewā** (a charming landscape of terraced fields), they happily arranged it without hesitation. The room was clean, cozy, and perfectly positioned to enjoy the scenery.
What truly stood out was their **dedication to foreign guests**āwhether explaining local customs, helping with travel plans, or simply sharing stories over tea. The atmosphere was **both peaceful and social**, making it easy to connect with fellow travelers.
If you're visiting Tibet, **this hostel is a must-stay**ācomfort, care, and stunning views all in one! **10/10 experience.**

GGuest UserThe homestay is in the villa area, good parking, the room is very clean and tidy, the bath towels are disposable, there is an oxygen generator and humidifier, the facilities are complete, there is a cute little wood dog, the service attitude is good, it is recommended
HhohotimVery satisfied with everything, the best is the customer service, always answer all questions.
Buy an oxygen tube for RMB 10/piece, and you can arrange an oxygen machine at the lobby bar to provide free oxygen.
There were sanitary defects, cigarette butts were found, we don't smoke as a family, but it was acceptable, the sprinkler pipe leaked, and the water pressure increased after cleaning.
Everything was cured by the warm customer service.

GGuest UserThe hotel isn't to far from the Portola Palace (a short taxi trip). I wouldn't say its a true 4 star hotel.
The room was a good size, quiet and didn't smell of cigarette smoke. The room was a little worn out; I couldn't get the TV to work, the mirror on the wet bar area was cracked, there were marks to the walls where paintings/pictures had once been. Most annoying was the shower cubicle and the shower over the bath had only cold water! On my last morning the power was off in my area of the hotel and the lift was not working due to the power outage.
The hotel staff do not speak English, but one lady working on reception was especially nice and helpful and we were able to communicate by using the translation app.
There are lots of restaurants near by, but next time I think I'd prefer to stay closer to the Portola Palace.
WWanderfieItās one of the nicest hotel compare to other hotels in Tibet. Staff werenāt the friendliest people but they are okay. Sometimes thereās door man sometimes no. Corridor is carpeted so itās hard to push the luggages but you can always ask the hotel staff to help you. Location is a bit far from where all the buzz is⦠but easy to take a didi to the main area. Overall you basically paid more for standard shangrila standard. Comfortable bed.
XXiaoyuebanjianghuI rarely write reviews, but I feel I must write one this time. Gesanghua Hotel has a beautiful and kind proprietress. She is quite young, thoughtful, warm and patient. We just arrived in Lhasa and were not very familiar with the itinerary. Later, we consulted the proprietress to avoid falling into the trap. You can also ask the proprietress to help buy performance tickets and travel packages. There are many discounts after comparison. I am also very satisfied with the arranged room. It is square, clean, with a humidifier, oxygen concentrator, and air conditioner. Every morning, the bright sunshine will shine into the room, making the cool morning warm all of a sudden. Living in a sunny room makes my altitude sickness much better.
The location of the hotel is also very goodš It is convenient to go out for transportation. It takes a few minutes to walk to Jokhang City, Barkhor Street, and Jokhang Temple. It only takes 10 yuan to take Didi to the Potala Palace.
Warm service, clean room, convenient transportation, we will definitely stay in Gesanghua again next time.
